ught some CARBmaster yogurt yesterday at Kroger.....had a hard time deciding what flavors to get but it was fun! Got 4 cups to start with and they were on sale too! Kroger yogurt is so good anyway but this is better! Such unique flavors like Caramel Spice Cake.....tastes like dessert without the guilt!
I was a little disappointed with the Greek Lite. I chose the blueberry flavor and was surprised to see it was a blended yogurt, not fruit-on-the-bottom. While the blueberry taste was a good blueberry flavor, I missed the visual enjoyment of stirring up the fruit from the bottom and generally think of the blended yogurts as inferior. There were a few nice small pieces of actual blueberry, but I added more blueberries to enjoy my breakfast. I was impressed with the 16g. protein and it was a good value. I think I'll stick with my Dannon Oikos Greek or the Stonyfield Organic Greek.
My Kroger didn't have any of the Greek yogurts and only 3 flavors of the regular cultured. My favorite flavor is the Black Forest Cake...sooo yummy. My kids loved the cinnamon roll and Key Lime pie too. Kind of disappointed that we didn't get to try the others :S.
Kroger brand yogurt is far superior to other brands of yogurt. Not only do they have a large variety of flavors but they also come in a variety of styles: Greek, Carb Lover and Lite. I have tried many of them and have never been disappointed in the quality, texture, or flavor. I am a big yogurt eater. I eat three to four cups a day. Because Kroger yogurt offers such a large variety, I never get bored. I can always be eating a different flavor. I love that the Greek yogurt comes in a Lite style as well regular. It gives me the fullness of Greek yogurt with less calories. Try this yogurt and you will be glad you did!!!
You have to give this yogurt a try - it is fantastic!! My son does P90X and eats alot of protein. Well, this is double the protein for him and he loves it. I have always eaten greek yogurt, but this is the best I have ever had!! I am always watching my weight and I try to eat good, well, this makes it easy. I feel like I am cheating on my diet. I look forward to this. Krogers has some great products, but you really have to give this a try. Many flavors to choose from - all are great and the benefits from this yogurt is fantastic. If you want to eat good and be healthy, but also enjoy what you are eating you have to give this yogurt a try. It comes in Greek and Greek Lite and they are both great!!!!! I haven't tried the carb master milk yet, but when I do, I'll let you know. My daughter is also watching her carb intake and she loves this yogurt also. I can't keep it in the house. As soon as I purchase some, it is gone - if that tells you how great it is!!!!!I was fortunate to be able to get into this campaign and I will recommend this to everybody!!!! P.S. My husband doesn't even like yogurt and he eats it and enjoys it!!
Yesterday I tried the Kroger Greek Lite (blackberry yumberry flavor) for the first time. The consistency was thinner than other greek style yogurts I've eaten but I attributed that to it being a lite version. The initial flavor was good - tasted natural, wasn't overpowering, and had a pleasant blackberry flavor. However, it had a strange aftertaste that lingered awhile that was vaguely metallic tasting to me. The only thing on the ingredient list I could attribute this to was stevia, but I've had that in other products and it tasted fine. Stevia is also a natural sweetener so I just can't explain that weird, metallic taste. So - in conclusion, I'm giving this three stars because I may have just gotten a yogurt that was off for some reason. I'm looking forward to trying other flavors and the regular Greek!
Enjoyed the campaign. It was fun to go to the store and have a gift card. LOVED IT! The yogurt is a little bitty bity. There is a tange in the taste. But the protein is filling. So, if you are excited about yogurt, give it a go.
I love any kind of Greek yogurt so I was especially pleased when I had the chance to sign up for this campaign. I went right to our local Fred Maeyer with my gift card and coupons but had a hard time finding any of the Carb Master products.. seems they either sold out or decided this area didnt do well for that product. Anyway they were down to 'seeds and stems' so I got what I could.. I was also dissappointed they had no Carb Master milk as I was looking forward to trying that! The flavors I got were what I wanted anyway and I got some new ones to try as well. My first impression was that they werent as thick as some of the Greek Yogurts I have had in the past..but the blueberry (which I had this morning) was very creamy and had a great flavor. I wanted some non fat plain to cook with but of course they were out of that as well! I am looking forward to trying the milk.. so I will go back next week to check what they have. I am also looking forward to trying the other flavors but its hard not to open each carton I bought and sample them right now!
I love, love, love greek yogurt and was anxiously waiting to try Kroger's version! I am not a fan of "lite" greek yogurts so I went for the regular greeks for my bzz! So far, Pineapple Mango gets 2 thumbs up; so smooth and creamy with the perfect amount of tanginess. I have other flavors to try and will review those as I try them. Happy Greek Yogurt to You!!!
You might not think that a store brand yogurt can taste as good asa national brand BUT IT CAN! I used to be an avid purchaser of Yoplait light yogurts, then one day I saw the CARBmaster yogurt at Kroger. it was half the price of the brand I usually use, and at the Kroger store I frequent it is more times than not on sale. The yogurt is just as creamy as any national brand I have ever tried, and has wonderful flavor, that rivals any national brand. The Kroger CARBmaster yogurt has wonderful flavors, some you won't even find in national brands, like Carrot Cake. One of the other reason i love this yogurt is it is lower in calories than any other yogurt I have found. It is 60 calories a serving/container compared to most other light yogurst that range from 80-100 calories per serving, and for those of us watching our calories.....Woot Woot!
