My youngest attends school for half days. He is required to bring diapers or pull ups. Since Pull Ups don't absorb as well as diapers, and they're more expensive, we've been sending Huggies Slip Ons. We've been really impressed by their ease of use, their absorption, and their cost. Thank you for a great product!
One really cool feature that I didn't know about before tying the diapers was the sides do actually detach if you want them to and re-attach very easily without a lot of fuss. I wasn’t aware of this when I first heard about them and I was a little worried about the mess I was going to have to deal with on his legs and clothes when he pooed and I removed the pull-up like diaper. I was SO relieved to see the sides could still pull off if I needed them to. Another great feature!
To me, diapers are very important and when it comes to going out in public or being in the car for a long period of time, my diapers need to last! I know that some diapers have issues with leak protection. (I wont say names, because i dont want to name bash) but i DO NOT like diapers where the crystals fall out or go all over your child after its been on them for an hour... HUGGIES is a great brand of diapers that i do not have to worry about the crystals coming out. I also really like how they are coming out with so many different types and designs of huggies diapers!
Spent time with 2 Mommy Buddies today. One Mom said she didnt like the diapers. Her child was just starting to crawl & felt they were more of a hassle to put on than regular diapers. She said she thinks they would be better for older babies that are more mobile. Another Mom said she loved them. Loves how you can tear the sides off. She was also having alot of problems with her child pulling regular diapers off, and she loved the fact that with these diapers she didnt have that problem.
We've tried the slip ons before in the past and I was not thrilled. I guess I don't like change, and for me these diapers are a challenge to get on my son. It's not that he's wiggling around that's the problem, it's that I have to pull it up on him and stand him up. I also have, out of habit, pulled off the sides like a regular diaper on these on several occasions, and for the life of me could not put it back together again. So a word of advice don't unclasp them before putting them on! My girlfriend on the other hand would like to say that she actually likes these diapers now that our son is a bit older. She said when we tried them earlier when they first came out she wasn't a fan, because like me she was unclasping them, but now with our son able to stand easily, and able to walk it makes it much easier to put on him. She would recommend them for older children like I would as well. The absorbency of the diapers is superior to that of other huggies diapers. We typically use Huggies Snug & Dry as our diaper of choice. The downside to these diapers, for me is the amount you get in one jumbo package. It is actually smaller than those of the same size jumbo packs but of the other styles. You get 20 diapers in size 5 as apposed to Snug and dry which you get only 7 more! :) Overall I think the diapers are ok, and good, but I just like sticking to what I know and am used to. Maybe the more I use them the more I will like them.
So far so good, it's nice not to have a wrestling match for a quick change. He's all for it too, just of with the old and jump into the new with out missing a beat! Much easier can even get the hubby in on the changing!
Huggies are very dependable a leak free is what i love about them and they look comfy for children my son and his girlfriend has children at this age so I gave them a coupon to use and they already have and I also have allot of of other people I know that has children that I gave coupons to in fact I bzzzd since the day I recieved my coupons and I have gave all my coupons out already was a good bzzzzing week-end
I've decided my children both have the skill to siphon energy from me. But I enjoy every minute of it. My littlest is a handful, he's rolling and scooting now, getting ready to crawl. He contorts himself in odd ways, so he needs a diaper that will go with him. These diapers go and go and go with him!
Were in the midst of pottytraining our 14 month old...and she's been solely on cloth diapers since a few months after birth...but I like these. I think they are extremely absorbant. I haven't had to change her as frequently, even though we do take her to the bathroom most of the time. Its made it a lot easier to show her how to pull up her diaper and pill it down even though its not as easy as underwear. She likes them. She can move in them and I don't have to worry about spileage. Overall they are great! Not the best diaper in the world, but definitely up there.
We gave these a try on our baby and was happy to find no leakage the following morning. She wears these around, playing and climbing all over everything and we have yet to see a gap. This is extremely important as she has just started trying to really get around and her previous diaper brand would often gap and leak. No more mess, thanks Huggies!
