In theory these diapers are great. Its hard to keep a lil one still long enough to get the tabs on the diaper straight and secure.... so you'd think pull up type diapers would be great. But, its actually harder to get these diapers up on my lil guy. Its kind of like when you are trying to shimmy into tight jeans. I try to pull them up and he just twists around and starts crawling away. With normal diapers, I can hold the front down with one hand (which keeps him from rolling) and do the tabs with the other. With these diapers, I need both hands to pull them up and I have no hands to keep him secure. Not a big fan. I'll stick with the regular ones.
These diapers are wonderful!! They are just like underwear so now he feels like a big boy and they move so well with him that I haven't had any leaks whatsoever!i suggest you buy to try it. We love these, they are so easy to get on and off..and my independent little one loves that they are like "big girl pants"!!!!!
Basically, it works just like a pull up, but is much more absorbent (as in — your kid can sleep in it and it won’t leak all over the place). You can also just slide it onto a child that’s lying down (there are tabs you can easily take apart to remove (or apply the diaper). We tested the Huggies Slip-ons at home (during playtime, mealtime, naptime and at night), at the park and on the road (we went up to my inlaws’ house in upstate NY) – so I feel we tried out every possible scenario a parent may have and I was really pleased how the Slip-ons performed. No leaks, no blowouts that leaked.
My baby girl Katie is always on the move. At 22-months-old, she's hard to catch to change a diaper these days. While she's getting close to the potty training age, Katie refuses to use the potty. Alas, we love the new Huggies Slip-On Diapers for this very reason. After we were done going through an entire pack of the Huggies Slip-Ons, I can tell you that they're pretty neat! It's so much easier now to diaper my little squirmer. Plus I absolutely love the fact that I can easily open the diaper at the sides if I need to.
HUGGIES® Little Movers Slip Diapers are strong and no leaks, and easy to move around in ,easy to use when potty training..................................................................................................
I really liked the ease of these diapers, you can slip them on like training pants or undo the sides like a traditional diaper. It was easy for me and my little one to get them on and off in time for potty breaks or in case of accidents. She loved the Tigger designs as well.
We are starting to potty train my daughter and I love these because she can pull them on and off herself and be a big girl! I have never had any issues with them and I was so excited to receive these today! Can't wait to hand out the coupons to other Moms and spread the word about how great these diapers are!
For a squirmy little bum, huggies slip on diapers are great. Maybe a little harder to wipe, but the ease of getting them all on is so worth it! Plus they are snug and don't slip around once on. I also love the huggies brand and these live up to the name without leaking!
The Bzz: Thoughts on the diaper samples I received in my BzzAgent Kit. So we went to Kroger this week and used the coupon for free JUMBO pack (26 diapers) of Huggies Slip-Ons Little Movers disposable diapers. I was amazed that the diapers were FREE. Kroger had them regular price at $10.49 and on sale for $9. I needed a few other items from my shopping list and went through the checkout and gave the coupon to the cashier. I was concerned that the coupon would not work, but it went smoothly and was FREE. Nice. As you all know, we cloth diaper, but we do like a few disposables on hand if we are going to be traveling on the road and wont be able to wash diapers. Also, since Waverly is more mobile, and BzzAgent sent me a free diaper pack coupon, I thought we would try them. I have always loved Huggies, they are a brand to be trusted. We do keep their wipes on hand for various uses, and have used their baby wash and lotions. Now onward to the diaper review. EASY TO PUT ON. I do have to say that they are easy to pull up when you have a baby that likes to play and roll when you change her. I put each one of her 2 cute little legs in the openings, and pulled them up to the knees, then stood her up on the changing table, and pulled them the rest of the way over her little bottom. The leg elastic seemed comfortable, while seemingly fit snug against her legs with minimal gaps. The leg openings do not look like they will leave marks. FIT, SIZE SELECTION DECENT, BUT NOT PERFECT. The size we got was size 3, for babies of 16-28 lbs. Our little Waverly is a petite and slender girl. She is 13 1/2 months, but weighs in barely 18 lbs. These did feel quite loose around the waist, which makes me worry that there will be a leak in our future. I did like the fact that these diapers do have quick release taps in the event of a messy diaper that needs removing. The tabs on the sides are a reusable sticky, similar to a hook and loop. Sadly they seem a bit short and do not make it possible to tighten the diaper much for a close fit on a slim baby. THE LOOK. The diapers were cute, they had Tigger on them. Honestly the print does not matter when comparing diapers, but when I was selecting the diapers at the store, I was wishing there was a more girly print. Secretly I was hoping for Disney princesses or something with flowers or pink prints. (more for mommy's benefit) Obviously the Tigger print is gender neutral so that works. NO LEAKS SO FAR. As far as leaks, these seem to do fine so far. We are using them at night right now for the testing phase. Our little one sleeps a good 11 hours. MOVING RIGHT ALONG...As for the name "Little Movers, Slip-Ons" they do live up to the fact that they seem to make it easy for a baby to stand, crawl, bend, and do all sorts of activities. Our little Waverly is not walking yet, but stands almost constantly and then falls on her bottom, speed crawls across the floor, and them pulls up to standing position on any item that she can balance on (doll house, chair, sofa, tv stand, etc.) THE FINAL THOUGHT. The diaper itself seems like a good product, and our family does trust the Huggies brand, however I would not purchase these myself at least not unless they were in a snugger, smaller size. I find myself worrying that they will have a leak or slip down any day now. As gross as it sounds, even with her current diapers she seems to find a way to accidentally drop cheerios down her diaper when they miss her mouth, and with the gaps at the waist in the slip-ons, I am sure to find a cheerio down in the diaper soon perhaps at the next change. I think the 16-28 lbs. is a huge size difference when you are not able to tighten the diapers. I am happy that I was able to test these out and will continue testing these out until the package is finished. HOW TO IMPROVE. Perhaps my opinion will improve in the next few days. These would work best if the size 3 was perhaps 22-28lbs and if there was a size 2 (currently there is not) at 16-21 lbs. Also these would work better if the tabs made the fit tighter.
We had just ran out of training pants when the coupons came in the mail from Bzz. I figured, they look like trainers, maybe they will work like trainers. My very last child is 4 years old and still needs to wear something to bed each night. So what a treat not to have to buy another package. I sent my hubby to the store with the FREE coupon in my Bzz kit and told him to buy a size 5 assuming that Huggies sizes would run universal across the brand. I was right and the size was perfect. My son immediately noticed Tigger when I took them out of the bag. He started to "school" me on bouncing "dragons!" LOL Needless to say he was excited to put them on. Night 1 - Leaks. The Little Movers was wet, pajamas were wet, the bed was wet. Terrible! Night 2 - New sheets...Leaks...LIttle Movers, pj's, bed. Grrrr!!! Nights 3 and 4 - I send him with two Little Movers to spend the weekend with the cousins. I don't know what it is about staying with uncle and auntie, but he didn't even wet the Little Movers. Night 5 - Back home. New sheets and blanket. Wet the LIttle Mover after I woke him up, but no leaks. More to come... So far, they work just like trainers; easy to put on, easy for the child to put on and take off. And they work just like diapers; more absorbent than some of the trainers we've used but certainly not leak proof, and velcro-type side closures. I like them ok, but something this easy to remove, I would not have used them for younger kids. Maybe it's just us, but some of my kids liked to remove their diapers and these come off WAY to easy. Also, if I was worried about poop...I wouldn't buy these again. They ride up in the back and my son's cheeks were partially exposed. Not good. But for my purposes, that's not an issue. As we continue to use them I will post more comment.. So far I have not recommended them. I'm not going to tell anyone to use a product that causes more work. I'll see how the next couple of days go.
