Just a prepaid credit card. Maybe a little different in that you get rewards.

I use the Greendot money card and I must say, I would go for the facecard hands down since it gives out coupons lol.....it's nice to feel like your getting something back once in a while and I think this is a great way to do it.

A good website for someone looking for a credit card, but I consider sites like this similar to spam.

While I would not find value in Facecard for my use, I wonder if I could get one for my child??? (Just wondering if it is age sensitive - especially since they need your date of birth to open one (why is that by the way???). If it is possible for kids, I think it would be a great alternative to cash!
Food for thought: They have my cash... it doesn't offer any benefit for me (as a matter of fact, they are collecting interest on my money (while the funds sit in their account). Also, currently when I use my check card, I get 1% cash back at the end of each month. I lose that perk if I were to use a Facecard. :(
