Moshi Monsters

Moshi Monsters is the perfect mix of fun and education (although we're pretty sure it's so entertaining your kids won't even realize they're learning).

Because when you give your children permission to become members of MoshiMonsters.com, they're able to adopt a monster for free and complete fun puzzles to earn virtual rewards called Rox. Rewards include items like food, furniture and other special treats and toys to make their monster happy and increase in level.

But education is really at the heart of Moshi Monsters. Your children will complete puzzles every day, testing everything from vocabulary and arithmetic to logic and spatial skills. The better they do, the better their monster does. We think that's a pretty rewarding reason to stick with it!

The game also includes limited social networking features, so your children can talk to and leave messages for their friends during play. Of course, safety and privacy are very important issues at MoshiMonsters.com — in fact, they work closely with the Children's Advertising Review Unit to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998.

Help your children sign up and show off their monster to the world!

This website reminds me of a younger version of webkins. This website was designed for children to take care of a monster as if it is a pet. I think this is directed for the younger children that may not understand how webkins works.

OK, I just spent 30 min playing kids puzzle games!
I'll let my almost 9 year old twins try it over the weekend - they will probably enjoy it!

This looks like fun for kids but may cause them to spend to much time on line.

Not sure that this is what kids really need...shouldn't they be encouraged to be OFF of their computers for awhile? But it's free and I'm sure they'd probably like it. A facebook for Furbees.
