Want to be a work at home mom

I wish I could find a legitimate at home job. I am trying to get pregnant and when I do I will end up on bed rest but I still need an income. Finding legitimate at home jobs that pay well is a hard thing. I wish this was a bigger job market for those of us that need it. view more

I wish I could find sOmething

I am a nurse, with a one year old and a six year old. I would love to be able to work from home. As it is right now I am a bit miserable with myself, because I hate the fact that I miss so many things and holidays with my family. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy my job and my profession, but I enjoy my family more. With nursing being in such high demand, you would think there would be more options out there. I would love to be at home more with my babies. view more

Working at Home

I have been a work at home mom for 15 years. It has truly benefited me, and I would do it again if I needed to work and had small ones. My children are now grown. The positives are enormous. You spend time with your kids, you can stay home when they are sick, you are always there for them, etc. Now I must say there is a downside to this. Your social interaction, especially with having a job, as you still have to get your work done, can drop significantly and you MUST MUST be disciplined. Working at home is tough, it is not easy. A couple of my coworkers have had serious problems with it. So I would advise anyone considering this to really think about it. view more
