Wen

I have coarse curly hair that I have dyed. I have tried so many types of shampoos and conidtioners as well as hot oil treatments and home remedies that have not done much of anything for my hair but someimes make it too dry or too oily. When I bought Wen and tried it for the first time I could tell that I was going to like it because it made my hair feels soft and not oily. I also love that you use it in just one step and that you can use it as a leave in conditioner and it is not harmful to your hair. After using it for about a month I went and bought my sister and mother both a two month supply of Wen and they too love it. view more & comment

WEN is absolutely fabulous!!

I have tried every hair care system around. Every shampoo and conditioner that came along I bought. But I've never been able to grow long healthy hair. Once it grew a couple of inches past my shoulders, it would split and break. But since I started using WEN it has grown almost to my waist!! And it's healthy!! No splitting, no breaking, just long, thick, healthy hair! I LOVE it! view more & comment

Wen will I see results!

My husband bought me Sweet Almond Wen for our anniversary and I have tried it about 2-3 times now. I'm still not sure about it. It is very pricey so I hope it is not going to be a waste. So far, it is just okay. view more & comment

Wen Hair Care

Let me tell you I was a little skeptical at first because there?s no shampoo. Instead of shampoo there is a Cleansing Conditioner that works to clean your hair without stripping it. I washed my hair with the Conditioner and then proceeded to put on the Hair Repair Mask. I was convinced that I was going to end up with greasy dirty hair, but that wasn?t the case. I don?t use a blow dryer and it takes my hair at least an hour to dry, so I got out of the shower and then added the styling creme, I combed out my hair and waited for the results. I just knew that I was going to have to jump back in the shower and wash my hair again. After about 2 hours I felt my hair and it was soft so I went in to look at it and to my surprise no grease, it was clean, shiny and smelled great. The products have an invigorating peppermint scent that make your scalp tingle just like at the salon. After using Wen for a month I?m hooked. My hair looks super healthy and no more fly aways. view more & comment

Not worth it

I bought a variety pack of 3 6 oz bottles from QVC and I must say I have no idea why this is all the rage. First of all, my hair had no body whatsoever. It was very limp and I couldn't style it at all, plus it often felt dirty. Second, you have to use a TON of this stuff and it's certainly not cheap. Stupid ol' me did research after I bought this and it turns out that for conditioning only, many suggest actually buying cheaper conditioners like VO5 or White Rain simply because you'll be using so much and it actually works better than this overpriced and highly hyped and overrated stuff. So if you want to try condition-only washing, save yourself the money and skip the WEN and go for the $1 stuff. view more & comment

My hair is 10 years younger than it was

I must admit, I am an infomercial junkie. I watch most of them and buy in to the hype the commericals generate while watching them.
That being said, I am also very frugal and do not like to purchase something that I am not positive I can use or return, so I never bought this product off the infomercial.
My mom bought some for her hair about 6 months ago, not knowing that I wanted to try it. She loved it!
Not two weeks later QVC had it on the air on easy pay. QVC has an incredible return policy. You can use every drop of the product for 30 days, send it back and request your money. I fully anticipated having to send it back for a refund. I will never wash my hair with anything else. My hair is fine and would frizz constantly. This has almost stopped the frizz. My hair started to grow longer than it has in years and the color vibrancy is incredible.
If you are sitting on the fence, get off and try it! view more & comment

Best product

My mom introduced this product to me a few weeks ago and let me have a 16oz bottle. I will never use regular shampoo or conditioner again. This product let my hair soft, frizz free, wasn't at all oily the next day like it is when not using this product. I just recently bought my own 32oz Cucumber Aloe Cleansing Conditioner and can't wait til it arrives since I'm almost of of it. view more & comment

Waste of money, time and product

To tell you all the truth i paid 108$ to try wen and see for my self how beautiful it makes my hair and really it showed no difference from a regular store bought shampoo.
I have fizz, dry, long hair and I thought Wen would be my miracle product in end I ended up with a really expensive conditioner and out of 108$ when I could have gone to my local drug store and bout loreal everstrong sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. SO really do I think a person should buy a 50 dollar hair conditioner when they can get it at 1/5 of the price at their local drug store? NO I don't think so. I think its useless and a waste money. plus i am currently left with two 16oz bottles with conditioner left at the bottom cause the pump wont work and the product won't come out even when I flip the bottle upside down. so now i have to throw the whole thing out cause its useless....
SO IN THE END IT WAS NOT ONLY A WASTE OF MONEY, BUT MY TIME AND THE PRODUCT IT SELF. SAVE YOUR MONEY view more & comment

Fantastic Hair

I had lunch with a friend yesterday and couldn't believe the difference in her hair. It looks amazing since she started using Wen! The product is so great on color treated hair and while it may be costly, you use it so differently than the lathering shampoos. Great hair is worth the price! view more & comment

Wen

I saw this product on QVC and ordered it. Once I received the product and read the information I thought it was going to be too much work - massage hair for 1 minute, let set on hair for 2, but let me tell you it was worth it. My hair felt great after & I love the lavender/ mint sent. view more & comment

I think I won't be switching for quite a...

OK its only one step (versus shampoo and conditioner), but it is more time consuming. I massage for a minute or two then let sit on while I do other stuff in the shower. Then rinse of quite a bit. However, all this is well worth it. My hair looks great and it soft! view more & comment

WEN

I too, have ultra fine hair. I purposely color my hair to make it a little more coarse so it doesn't lay so flat against my head. Since I started using WEN my hair has noticeably improved. I have less breakage from the coloring and so it seems to grow faster. I have used all the formulas and found them to be about the same. So I just pick the scent that is most pleasing to me view more & comment

Almond Mint Shampoo...mmmm!!

So, I was watching an infomercial before I went to to work today and it was all about the WEN hair care system. Now, it says that this shampoo is supposed to do wonders for your hair and you will notice the difference after one use. I saw most of the befores and afters and it does look really good after. And plus, I love almond mint. I am definitely going to order some of this and tell you guys how it went! view more & comment

Wen Almond Mint

I decided to try WEN after watching several commercials (darn you informercials!!!!) and because it seemed to do a good job I decided to buy it and try it on my type 4 a/b hair. I decided on the almond mint because the fig smells like cherry cough syrup (ugh.) and because of the properties of the oils. This cleansing conditioner made a difference in my hair. It helped to provide moisture to my hair and scalp but after a while it just coated the hair. I clarified with a clarifying shampoo and used Wen again. It's a good product but too pricey if you have alot of hair. I don't know if I'd buy this again.. view more & comment

Wen just Wasn't

I tried the Wen cleansing conditioner and committed myself to doing the 1 month trial. The product advertising encourages users to commit to the product for 1 month for full results. At first I was skeptical, but kept using the product. At 1 week I was ok. . .my hair felt better to the touch dry and wet. By week 2 my hair felt heavy and dirty, By week 3 the product couldn't seem to control/reduce the oil in my hair, so it wouldn't do anything but hang there--the styles I tried just didn't work with the oily look. I continued to use the product through week 4, but gave it up after that. It just didn't seem to live up to the promises in the advertising. view more & comment

Review: Wen Cleansing Conditioner by Cha...

Wen by Chaz Dean claims to add moisture, body, and shine; great on straight, wavy, curly and ethnic hair while leaving hair soft, manageable and touchable. Can be used on chemically treated or stressed hair. Has strengthening action that repairs damage, renews elasticity, and reduces chemical stress of dry, extremely damaged hair.
At first I was a little skeptical. I have tried many products claiming to be natural or organic some have cleaned my hair, others have not. I have found that many of are only formulated for certain hair types... or are not formulated at all. Wen cleaned my hair like no other.
At first because of the lack of detergents in the product it felt as though I was just massaging conditioner into my hair. The lack of lather may be alarming to some upon first use. My scalp tingled nicely from the peppermint and I loved the mental clarity it brought as I let it sit in my hair for the alloted time. I rinsed out the product and put a small drop in as a leave in conditioner. Often times leave in conditioner will make my hair greasy.
My hair was NOT greasy. It was very clean and not in a stripped clean kind of way either. It felt nice and lively. As my hair dried it had this healthy bounce to it that I usually only see if I end up going to the salon. I was in awe to find this natural product free volume in my hair... so I went to the garage to seek out hubby. The ultimate test of course is his approval. Not only did he notice but he COMPLIMENTED me. This is an achievement!!
The only downfall to the product is the price, at $49.99 US, it is pretty steep for my blood... even the auto-delivery price of $29.99 US is pretty steep, even for a miracle shampoo. However, for those special red carpet moments in your life... it is totally worth it. I would love to see this product line put out something similar but more affordable for us low-budget lookers :)
