AMAZING BOOK! So I was extremley hesitant to read these books at first because of all the big fuss over it. When I finally gave in and got my first copy, I was addicted! I because immensed in this amazing new world, rich and vibrant characters, thrilling plot, definatley a page turner! I sped through the entire series. Twilight Series I read this series during the Summer of 2008. This was right when the movie was in the works but no one had really heard about the books quite yet. I immediately fell in love with the characters and the love story. I think the best part of reading books in imagining all the characters for yourself. Of course when the movies came out, we saw someone else's version of what they imagined the characters to be like. Silly addictive I am a 30 hers old fan of Twilight. The story even though is corny and Bella can be extremely whinny and annoying, it is addictive. I love to read but after having my kids I felt that it was impossible to read. i am a twihard! Obsessed with Twilight! I read the first book of Twilight after a friend had recommended the book. I was hooked by the first Chapter. Stephenie Meyer, the author of Twilight, is a great author. I literally could not put the book down, and called into work sick so that I could finish the first book. I was very excited to read the last three books of the series. I became very disappointed because it was so difficult for me to find it! Every library had it checked out for months, and wasn't finding it the stores. I luckily found the series in a used book store and read the whole series. There was also a series of movies made. The first part of book 4 is coming out on Novemeber 18, 2011. I will def be standing in line at the first midnight showing! The thing that I love about the book the most, is that it is an easy reader. I quickly found myself lost in the world of Twilight. Best book series My teenage daughter started reading the first book before the movie ever came out. I was curious one day what could keep my daughter attention for hours, what was so good about this book? So there I sat reading..and reading. I then became addicted. We argued over who was gonna read it considering we only had one copy. We both read the whole series. The book is better than the movie. Not for me When I first heard about Twilight, the movie had not yet been released. I was fascinated to read the book after learning that the author had written this based on a dream. I initially liked her style, however, I felt the book was more aimed towards a younger crowd. Once all the hype broke loose and the movie came out, I was completely turned off. Twilight Love I have never loved a series or group of characters. The fact that they are "vegetarian" Vampires are great. You can get the badness of them being Vampires and the sweetness of them being so sensitive. Especially Edward. Like Bella, I find it hard to choose who is the right person for her. This book made me feel like a teen again If you had told me that I was going to love a young adult book about vampires and romance I would have told you that you're crazy. The book will having you feeling like a teenager in love again (if you've out grown that stage). I couldn't put these books down and it's been a long time that I've read books like that. twilight novel series I loved all the twilight books. I would have to run out and buy the next book as quick as finished reading the book before it..couldn't put it down. I would even sit and talk to my husband about the books.. I became a solid twilight fan from the books. The movies are great but the experience from reading the book cannot be replaced by a movie. Don't Understand Why It Is So Popular I honestly gave Twilight a fair shake, but, as I suspected, couldn't stand it. As someone who reads a lot of literature, and sometimes freelances, I have to say that I'm rather horrified that these books are passing as literature. I think they should be in the same category as the tabloids. Cheesy, poorly-written, and unrealistic (even for fantasy!). Can't go wrong with sparkly vampires As big as this series is, there is still a collective feeling. I think that the majority of women/girls in the US have read this and so have more than a few males who pretend they haven't. The movies keep me on your toes so to speak and that keeps me and my girls coming back for each new movie.... Can't wait for the breaking dawn movie to be in theaters.. I started the 4th book last year but only made it about half way through. For some reason I just became uninterested in the last book. It was almost like the hype died down. Twilight extroardinare I personally have not read the books but am interested if I could just find time to do so. I'm a full time college student and study during the day and take tests at night. So, its hard for me to find the time to wind down and read a great book. I have heard the books are better than the movies. One of these days I will find out. If someone would give me the books for free I would love to find out if they are any good or not. Currently, I have no job but in need of one so I can't even afford to go to the movies. For sure though I am going to see the new Twilight movie that is coming to theatres here in Indiana in November. I have seen 2 of the Twilight movies and am missing I think 1 more before the new one. Twilight is awesome I am an avid reader and I enjoy various genres. However, it may be because I love vampires that I may be slightly partial to the Twilight Saga. However, the writing is rapid and keeps the reader on the edge of his/her seat which is a definite plus. Twilight Obsession Even though I ADORED the twilight saga, I think it's totally crazy how many teenagers get obsessed over it. I agree, the story is adorable and I bet we all wished we had our vampire lovers but it's time to jump back into reality. Love the series! My friend introduced me to this book series in 2008, and I was addicted ever since! The way Stephanie Meyers created the characters, makes you fall in love with each and every character. I love the books, and while I enjoy the movies, they are not my favorite. The actors are terrible, and the story seems to rushed. I understand the books are long, but they definitely didn't take the time to make the movies great like the Harry Potter series.
