A great Illustration! I really liked this book despite all the unnecessary controversy over it. As a pastor I had no concerns with this book, although "some" Christians did. The author never made any claims that this was a theological textbook, or that this was doctrinally sound. He simply painted a beautiful illustration of the Trinity. A much better illustration or explanation than that of "the Egg (shell, yolk, whites)" or "Water (gas, liquid, solid): which I often see used. It was a great book and should be enjoyed simply as that. It told a great story, and had a wonderful message. I took it for what it was and enjoyed it thoroughly, so much so that I bought 20 copies of it to give out to friends. Read it, enjoy it and if it causes you to ask questions about faith and spirituality, God and the Trinity than all the better! view more	Jun 28, 2011	35

Wow The Shack is a kleenex need Everything happens for a reason... I heard about this book in Texas and several months later in New York waiting for a flight. Then in Egypt a friend of mine that traded books with me told me about this great book she had read, Sign from God that I needed to read this book. Wow, I think everyone struggles with faith sometimes but this book was a fantastic read. It made me realize things about myself while reading the story. I can only say that I am so pleased that I read The Shack and have told numerous people about it . God works in mysterious ways and this book really touched me. Try it, what do you have to lose? Books you can get into! This was a book that was recommended by a friend of a friend. It is a good book that shows one man's struggle with his belief. Should be mandatory reading This well written book should be mandatory life reading. A novel simply titled, "THE SHACK" by Wm. Paul Young, from Windblown Media 2007.
