We had some friends over for the holidays who enjoy fantasy stories and like to read. I told them that I had recently read "Shadowmarch" and that I had really enjoyed it. I told them it had an engaging story and it would make them want to pick it up. Neither of them had heard of the book or the author before, but they both expressed interest in reading it.
