When I worked at a retail store in Michigan, I bought Starbucks everyday!! This is by far my favorite coffee house/chain. I love the new instant coffees that you can buy at supermarkets because there is not one close to me now. The winter and fall seasonal drinks are my fav!! I love love love the peppermint Mocha!! i love starbucks i also have tons of favorite espacially mocha frap with whipped cream on top with a chocolate drizzle but if you think about it you are paying like $5 for a drink of coffee that yout going to drink in like 5 minutes to 10 and just pee it out so is it worth it? for me not really id rather spend my money somewhere else view more

My horrible cravings

I love to the tasty but high in calorie mocha frap and the pumpkin spice frap. They do have healthy alternatives so it isnt so bad for you. You can get soy milk and no whip cream which is what i perfer to do. They always have great service and they are not expensive at all. view more

Salted carmel mocha frappacino

I love starbucks. Their drinks are soo delicious its just kinda pricey for an everyday thing. My favorite drink is the salted carmel mocho with extra carmel and extra chocolate drizzle. The topping is the best part and I hate when they don't put much topping on it. YUM! view more

I am a frequenter of Starbucks, several times a week. Though their most-promoted drinks can be pricey, it is possible to spend time there relaxing within your budget. Did you know that if you use a registered starbucks giftcard to purchase your drinks that you get your flavor syrups for free? That you can add any flavor syrups to a regular coffee, and if purchased with the registered gift card, that you can get free-refills of any brewed coffee or tea, of any size? Also, when you register your card, you will get a free drink on your birthday! The quality of their drinks is pretty good, although local vendors of high-quality coffee may have them beat, Starbucks' reliability for good coffee and a comfortable atmosphere to spend *several* hours is unmatched. My favorite seasonal beverage right now is the Salted Caramel Mocha. The Salted Caramel Mocha is delicious, but incredibly sweet and rich. I prefer to add an extra shot of espresso to mine, just to bring the sweetness down to a more manageable level. The baristas are generally well-trained, and generally friendly and a pleasure to interact with. Four stars to Starbucks for being so reliable in delivering a positive coffee experience! view more

Starbucks, One of my favorite things...

I really like Starbucks. I like their drinks such as the White Chocolate Mocha, Salted Caramel Mocha, Toffee Nut Frappuccino, Tazo Chai Tea and so many others. They have really tasty treats and sandwiches too. I like the people who work there. Even the atmosphere of the stores is very inviting. Just about 5 or 6 years ago I despised the taste of coffee. I tried the White Chocolate Mocha and found I could drink it sweetened from Starbucks. Then I tried other lattes sweetened and I actually started to like them too. I no longer need to sweeten my Starbucks drinks and really enjoy them. Living where there is a Starbucks on most every street is a blessing for me now as there's always one close by. Though I don't see me drinking coffee...espresso will remain a staple in my lifestyle! view more

Why So Popular?

I really do not understand why Starbucks Coffee is so popular. I believe that it is overpriced and for the quality of the coffee, as far as taste, it is not worth it. The coffee tastes like it sat on the roaster too long and has been reheated too many times. As for the smoothies, they are okay but when you choose a flavor, don't expect it to actually taste like what you ordered. It probably won't. view more

The Holidays

I agree that Starbucks (Fourbucks) can put a dent in the old wallet. However, I recently became a Gold member and have received free drink coupons and discounts on extras such as syrups, etc. Sure, you have to visit Starbucks 30 times in order to qualify but for me, that's not all that hard. It definitely paid off. You just have to use your card each time you go. view more

Too expensive for me

I am not a huge fan of Starbucks. I find it just too expensive. Why would I pay $6 for a cup of something I can make at home all week for $12. I mean I get it the way I want it and don't have to deal with a barista with an attitude or the internet freeloaders that linger for hours. Just not my cup of coffee! view more

Best coffee in the world

I probably have Starbucks about 5 times week. I cannot get enough. I get excited for the holiday flavors like Peppermint Mocha and Pumpkin Spice lattes. Everything is delicious and the quality is amazing. I also enjoy the fun products they sell in the stores. I have tons of mugs and tumblers that get plenty of use. The best part about Starbucks is the convenience. I love being able to go through the drive-thru and grab a quick cup of coffee on my way to work or class! view more

Consistency would be nice here

I really really do enjoy Starbucks however, every time I order my favorite drink (during the fall season) it tastes different. I understand there are different baristas all the time but I think the drink should be consistent regardless of who is making it. And this goes for any drink (not just Pumpkin Spice Lattes). Every time the drink tastes different. One time it tastes so good that I go back for another one within the next week and it tastes so strong I can hardly taste the flavoring. I've just learned to fancy-up coffee at home instead of taking a risk if it will taste the way I like it or not. view more

I ordered a soy peppermint mocha and it was to die for! Although, I would ask for one extra shot of peppermint because the coffee was a bit overpowering if you like the peppermint flavor! I am TOTALLY one of those people you want to punch in the back of the head when they order! Sugar free vanilla, chai latte with Caramel drizzle, extra foam! This drink is like Christmas in a cup! I very very very rarely deviate from that order unless its super hot outside! view more

I love Starbucks, and I'm not a coffee d...

Some people assume that you can't like a coffee house like Starbucks unless you, you know, actually drink coffee. WRONG! I am a non-coffee drinker, for various reasons...don't like the taste, etc. However, I am still totally hooked on Starbucks. I love that they have a diverse menu that offers lots of different non-coffee drinks that are just as delicious as any other drink. My personal favorites are the Double Chocolately Chip Blended Cream, Peppermint Hot Chocolate, and Passion Fruit Ice Tea Lemonade. The baristas at Starbucks are always friendly and helpful, and are willing to work with me to make my drink in any way that I want. I also love that Starbucks has a wonderful rewards program that offers great incentives for buying drinks there. I am a Gold Level member of their program, and I receive free drink vouchers every few months, as well as other free promotional cards and free birthday drinks. It's one of the few rewards programs that I use that actually is so very worth it. Count me as a forever Starbucks lover, even though I don't drink the coffee! view more
