Birthday cake in a bottle! I received a bottle of Vanilla Cake shower gel for my birthday. I was a little skeptical about Philosophy products because in the past my skin broke out. Well not this time! I love the smell of this shower gel. It smells exactly like vanilla birthday cake! Not only that - it leaves my skin soft and clean without stripping it of its natural oil. I have to get another bottle of Philosophy shower gel! Now which fragrance do I buy? There's so many to choose from? Vanilla cake? Chocolate? Caramel Apple? Papaya Passion? Melon Daiquiri? Oh so many scents to choose from If you love scents, Philosophy has something for everyone. Their 3 in 1 (body wash, shampoo, and bubble bath) are great! Check out the holiday scents (and I don't just mean Christmas). They lather up and the scent stays with you. For facial care, I love Purity. Got a sample once and fell in love with it. Philosophy Products are the best. I use Philosophy's Grace Conditioner and Purity Cleanser regularly. The conditioner makes my hair feel like silk and it smells amazing. Philosophy Body Lotion After using Philosophy Falling In Love Body Lotion, I was hooked. No other body lotion that I have seen or used has the smell that this one has. It is light , and sweet smelling and magically wonderful. The name of this lotion is perfect. The 3-in-1 is my favorite! I love philosophy's 3-in-1 shampoo, bubble bath, and shower gel combos. I always have 3 or 4 different scents in my shower, and my 5 year old nephew loves them, too! I do need to use a separate conditioner for my hair, but my skin and hair feel very clean after using this product. Smell So Clean Philosophy Pure Grace is a great perfume to use daily. It is light and not overpowering like many fragrances out in the stores. It has a wonderful fresh and clean smell, like you just got out of the shower. The smell lasts all day and I always have people commenting and saying I smell great, and of course I always tell them its Pure Grace from Philosophy. I love every single thing about these pr... I live the philosophy lifestyle. My signature scent is Falling In Love and everyone knows it! I hoard the lotion and fragrence for fear one day it might be discontinued or something and I would be so sad. However I don't think they would ever do that so I happily use the perfume, lotion, bath gel with glee every single day. I have also used other scents to switch things up every now and then, such as Amazing Grace, Baby Grace, etc. but have always gone back to Falling In Love. I also use a lot of their skin care products such as Purity Made Simple, Hope in a Jar, Oxygen mask./ I am continuously amazed at the advanced technology but gentleness of the products and have never had an adverse reaction. oh my god it's great I own a couple of philosophy's products and I have tried some of the samples that I have choosen to come with them. I loce the black nose strips. They sent me a free small vanilla cupcake shower gel/bubble bath/shampoo around my birthday when I ordered anything, even something less than $5. I now have their vanilla cupcake/ vanilla birthday cake lip gloss and yes, it does taste like it's name. Philosophy I LOVE Philosophy products! Their gingerbread man scrub is the best ever! It leaves your skin smooth without being messy or greasy- there isn't a layer of oil on top when you open the jar! I love this company I love that every time I go into the Macy's department store to replenish my purity cleanser I always get a complimentary facial. If someone is staffed there. That is why I rated 4 stars because i will go once in a while and the girls will be off. They are so personable. They call me on my birthday to grant wishes and set me an appt. Love the inner grace body wash It's kind of expensive, but this is the best smelling body wash I've ever used. It smells so good and it's not overpowering, it makes the whole bathroom smell wonderful. Best shower gels ever I love the Philosophy shower gels. They smell wonderful and and does not perfume your skin. Even my husband loves them. I have very sensitive skin and have no problem using them. It says you can use them as a shampoo and you really can. Great space saver on vacation. They make a great gift too. I didn't care for 2 out 3 products that ... I bought three things and didn't like two. The two things that didn't really do anything for me were the facial moisturizer and the "Kiss me tonight" lip therapy. The moisturizer had a fishy smell, which I couldn't stand and the lip therapy was nice when on, but when worn off nothing was different about my lips. The moisturizer did a great job ofmoisturizing but I couldn't get past the smell. The lip therapy made my lips smooth when on , but once rubbed off, my lips were dry and flaky. The only thing that I did like was the facial cleanser. I really liked how smooth my face felt after I wasdhed it with the cleanser. It tends to over dry my skin when I use it twice a day, so I just use it at night or use it oring and night with lotion. Amazing Grace perfume Philosophy's Amazing Grace perfume is perfect for daily use. It's a light, refreshing scent that isn't too strong or pungent. I've gotten lots of compliments with it. vanilla birthday cake lip shine I received this as part of a birthday "gift" through a store program. I find the scent to be rather strong, but I'm able to tune it out over time. It's lovely to see in the tube, with pale pink, yellow and green glitter suspended in the pale yellow cake gloss. I find the gloss to be very moisturizing, feels slightly thick on my lips, very smooth. The glitter isn't gritty at all. The applicator is made of slanted plastic affixed to the gloss tube, with gloss coming out of a hole in the center of the applicator while you use the slanted surface to smear the gloss on your lips. The only things I don't like about it are the scent (a bit too sweet and strong for my tastes), and the applicator (which is imprecise and messy feeling), but other wise I like how moisturizing I find it, and how it looks and lasts. philosophy's amazing grace firming body ... I love this scent. I like how this product keeps the scent on me throughout the day. While I originally was introduced to this product as a sample, I've purchased 2 bottles of different sizes very shortly afterward and been pleased with. It doesn't leave me feeling dry, and it doesn't leave an oily residue on my skin. My skin feels soft. I could probably stand to use something stronger on super dry areas, but they don't feel completely neglected. The consistency is neither too thick nor too runny, it might run slightly thicker than basic, quality lotions. What I love about it more than anything else, however, is the scent. I've tried their Inner Grace scent, and it's nice, but Amazing Grace is my current favorite. Enough so that I purchased their super sized bottle of this stuff. It smells (to me) light, fresh, clean. It reminds me of women and memories. It's the floral take on the Grace line, and I quite like it. It's as close to perfume as I suspect I'll ever come, for use on a daily basis. I've heard that people have issues with the pump that goes with a variety of philosophy bottles, but I've had no serious issues with either the super size bottle pump, nor the small/medium sized pump. My smaller pump acted like it would stop working, but unscrewing it slightly caused it to begin working properly again - I think the pump has too complete a seal, and so air wasn't able to replace the lotion that the pump was pushing out. The bottle was too sturdy to "give" in place of the insufficient replacement air. The scent stays with me all day and into the evening. Right after an after-shower application it's rather strong, so it might be polite to avoid people who don't like scents of any kind. After it soaks into the skin, people should only need to enter your personal space to notice it. I do NOT like the Amazing Grace parfume, nor the AG eau de toilette. Pure Grace Body Lotion I absolutely love the hydrating factor of this body lotion. The scent is long lasting, yet not overpowering, and smells clean. I have really sensitive skin, and years of using this product has only given me smoother skin. I would recommend it for either men or women, as well. Pure Grace Shower Cream Of all the philosophy regular products, I love this three in one shower cream best. The scent is not heavy or overpowering, and just smells clean. Unconditional Love I love so many of the philosophy fragrances, but Unconditional Love is my all time favorite. The first time I smelled the fragrance on my friend, I went bonkers. I couldn't buy some for myself fast enough. It is very similar to Falling in Love, but with a boost. Vanilla Birthday Cake I received this as my free birthday gift sample from Sephora. I don't usually go for vanilla scents, so I was unsure what to expect. It definitely smells delicious, although the scent is more faint than with Philosophy's other shower gels. Coconut Frosting Shower Gel/Shampoo/Bubb... I got this as a Christmas gift back in December. I absolutely love anything coconut scented, and this was no exception! I primarily use it as a body wash, although you can also use it as a shampoo and bubble bath. It smells delicious like coconut icing (duh!). I've used it on my hair a few times, and I've found that it makes me hair look super shiny. Amazing Line I have not met a Philosophy product that I haven't liked yet. I can't imagine life without it now. Not only are they beautifully scented, they work so well. You get department store quality for a lot less money. QVC even runs specials on the line quite often. They have developed quite a gem, if you ask me. Amazing Grace is...amazing! I'm in love with Philosophy's Amazing Grace perfume and lotion. It was my only fragrance for approximately two years. Only recently have I branched out to try a few other perfumes (other brands). Amazing Grace is nice because it's light and perfect for day use -- never too strong (unless you make it that way -- ladies, never douse yourself in perfume! Just take a bath! ;-) ). Pure Grace - Not as great as I had hoped I was glued to QVC one day when they were doing a philosophy special and HAD to have the grace gift set. I begged my husband to buy it for me for christmas. I really wanted to try amazing grace, but they were already out so he got pure grace instead. I like it, but I do not love it. It is supposed to be a light, clean smell - like soap; but to me its way too strong and not as light and fresh as I would have expected it to be. The gift set itself was very nice and in a really cute box - I just wish the scent was not so overpowering. I maybe will try amazing grace or baby grace next time. Purity Made Simple This is the best cleanser I have ever used on my skin. It's not drying, my skin looks fantastic and a little bit goes a LONG way. I've been using one bottle for about 3 months or more now. I'm just starting to get low on it. Hope in a Jar really gives my skin HOPE!... I love Philosophy. My mother got me started on it. She told me at 25 and now 29 that I need to use a face moisturizer and she got me the starter kit of HOPE IN A JAR. This is a great moisturizer. It is not heavy, doesn't have a strong smell and the best part is a little goes a LONG way! I have noticed a huge difference in my face complexion. I was getting fine lines/wrinkles and they now are not as visible if at all. My complexion is softer looking and haven't had dry skin like I always got in the winter. The best skin care line I love using all of the skin care products from Philosophy. I have always had problem skin and their Clear Skin line works great for me, without overdrying. I love the Hope is not Enough lotion for my daily moisturizer in the winter. It goes on smooth and doesn't feel greasy. Does the job I enjoy using Purity to clean my facie twice a day. The scents by Philosophy are light but not really for me. The only scent that I do like from them is Clean. It's light and crisp. Worth the splurge I love Philosophy products and I love the packaging. I use Amazing Grace products for my skin and they work great. The product line is a little pricey for a commercial product line but it is worth it. Try to check stores like beauty.com, ulta.com, sephora.com - while the lines usually don't go on sale or allow coupons or discounts - you can usually find a bundled set of items or a free product with purchase to make it worth it. Philosophy Caramel Apple Lip Shine I love Philosophy Caramel Apple Lip Color Lip Shine. The color is beautiful and it makes your lips soft and shiny. The color is very sheer, with the slightest tinge of color. The color is a cross between a dark pink and mauve, but is very natural looking. Not at all how it appears just from looking at the tube itself. It doesn't, however, really have the true scent/flavor of caramel apple. More expensive than the average lip gloss, but I feel it is worth it. I recommend this lip shine for anyone seeking a shiny, long-lasting lip shine with a tinge of color. view more	Mar 6, 2011	37
