This soup tasted more like a homemade french onion, like it had more depth than just beef broth with onions and croutons coated in cheese. All of Panera's food seems to taste to me like it was crafted, not fast-food.

I worked at Panera Bread during college and I have to say that it has the best French Onion soup out there. It's way better than Atlanta Bread Company's. I've tried to make my own and it never comes close to Panera's.

Although I have never tried their french onion soup I'm sure is it great as all their sandwiches and other soups are. I have had the chicken noodle soup which is very good too.

My husband and son love this soup. They loved the croutons and cheese garnish on top ot the soup. My son liked dipping his bread in the soup.

I love the French Onion soup at Panera. And I really love that it is only 4 WW points. All of the Panera items that I have tired, I have loved.

I love almost everything at Panera, but the french onion soup is one of my least favorites. I think the best part about french onion soup is the bubbly cheese that melts across the top, and theirs doesn't do that. It's not bad, but not my favorite.

Panera is one of my favorite places to eat in. It is to me a restaurant, coffee shop, and a lounge to relax, all in one. Their food is comforting and quite tasty. Panera is not only good for my appetite but for mental health as well!

Love French Onion soup, but how can anyone enjoy for lunch and go back to work? It seems a bit breathy for after lunch meetings and coworkers... It's certainly tasty, but save it for evenings, weekends and holidays...

before ordering i asked if it had cheese on top...they said yes... i was expected bubbly broiled crispy cheese...disappointed by the sprinkling of cheese...it did have good flavor thoufg.

I've always enjoyed that various soups that Panera Bread has offered and this one is no exception. While it may be a little strong for some people it was just right for me. A delicious addition to their already stellar soup lineup.

The french onion soup is my go-to dinner on a cold day for lunch or dinner! Its always fresh tasting and ready quick, and I love that their croutons are made from their own day old bread.

I have never had anything I haven't liked at Panera. Everything is always so fresh. The stock they use for the French Onion Soup is especially satisfying.
