mmmm.....good
The Over the moon chocolate milk is so delicious. I was even able to pass this chocolate milk onto my picky husband and kids. They did not read the label but after they drank it and said they liked it I told them it was fat free. Still rich and creamy with no fat. Hard to find for me, though. Only one store in my area carries this product. view more & comment

Over the Moon Milk
A delicious creamy low-fat milk FINALLY!!! For those of us counting calories and watching fat intake Over the Moon Milk has totally jumped OVER THE MOON!! Not that watered down taste and has body to the taste. Wonderful just simply marvelous milk. My father whom is a cardiac patient has been drinking soy milk for quite some time because it has "consistency" to it unlike the other low-fat milks. Now he has switched to Over the Moon and won't drink anything else!! We are totally sold. view more & comment

This morning my family and I went to the annual school Bowl-A-Thon. The Bowl-A-Thon is run every year to raise money for the school. Each child gets pledges per pin on the highest bowling game they bowl that morning. This year there were approximately 20 students and 40 adults The Bowl-A-Thon consists of bowling, raffles and food. The parents bring in all sorts of food. Food, beverage and coffee are free to all that attend. We got there at 8:30am to help set-up. By 8:50 everything was all set up when it was realized that no one bought in creamer or milk for the coffee. I volunteered to go and get some. I drove back to my house because I knew that we had just bought 2 half gallons of Over The Hill Milk when I went grocery shopping yesterday morning. They were unopened so I took them to the bowling alley. By 11:15am all the milk was gone. By talking to the parents I was told that the kids had been drinking cups of milk instead of the juice that was on the same table. Parents were saying how creamy the milk was and that it tasted very good in coffee and just out of the cup. As we were cleaning up people were asking me where I had bought the milk because the name was not familiar. They were rather surprised that it was available in the grocery stores in the area. A couple of people assumed I had bought it at a small family grocer. Again it went over very well and as you can tell I am still buying it for my family too. All my coupons are gone and I am still buying it because my family loves it. And so far everywhere I have taken it has gotten great reviews. view more & comment

As I have stated in the past I am part of a play group that meets 1-2 times a week. We all have children between the ages of 10 months and 15 months. Well the last time I hosted we started talking about giving our kids milk. All the mothers were interested in the new milk I was trying, over the moon. Well this time they all tried it and loved it. They could not believe that it tasted so good but was skim milk. So then we started talking and the topic of giving it to the kids came up. The only drawback to the Over the Moon is that it is better to give small children whole milk with all the fat in it because they need it. So I would not give this to my 1 year old daughter, and either would the other mothers. BUT, since none of us would drink the whole milk that we are giving our children anyways ( they all buy seperate milks, for themselves and their children), buying something like Over the Moon, in addition to their childrens whole milk is fine. Well in closing, 4 of the 5 women who take part in my playgroup said that they were going to try Over the Moon at their next visit to the foodstore, since they could not believe it tasted so good at my house. view more & comment

A few months ago we moved into this cute, neighborhood (Ozzie and Harriet anyone?) on a quiet, child-friendly, dead-end street. Last night my neighbor across the street came over to ?borrow? (did she intend to actually return it?) some milk. I was amazed, I thought ?borrowing? food only happened in 1950s sitcoms! Well, I invited her into my kitchen and showed her the Over the Moon Milk, told her that it was my new favorite because it tasted so rich, so much like whole milk. With 4 growing (and slightly overweight) boys at home to feed, she was all ears. I gave her a taste ? she found it very satisfying. I gave her one of the coupons I had plucked off the dispenser in the supermarket dairy section and then I filled up her container with some more milk to take home to her family. Several things accomplished: made a new friend (maybe), helped out a neighbor, and did some Bzzing along the way. view more & comment

I had a group of homeschoolers coming over for a meeting, parents and kids. We'd been trying to figure out something fun to do, and I had a brainstorm! I told one of the moms that we'd been enjoying the Over the Moon milk, and what if we had a Milk and Cookies Taste Test? My wife works for a local Girl Scout council, and I had her bring home boxes of four different flavors, and each mom brought a carton of different milk (regular whole fat, plain old skim, Over the Moon, and vanilla soy). Then we set up a blind taste test. We all had a blast and 6 out of the 8 preferred the nonfat Over the moon. (Intestingly, two of the kids preferred the plain old skim milk to all the others, even though they usually drink whole milk.) Oh, and the Thin Mints won 5-3. view more & comment

I went to the grocery store with one of my friends and I saw a stranger looking to purchase milk. I told him about Over the Moon Milk. I told him that it is a healthier alternative to regular milk and comes in two varieties which are a fat free milk that tastes like 1% and one that is 1% and tastes like whole milk. He asked how it tasted and I told him it is rich and creamy and it is a great to get the flavor you want without all the fat. I even had a 50 cent coupon from off one of my cartons, so I gave it to him. He picked it up and put it in his basket and said it was worth a try. I told him if he likes it and wants to purchase it again he should try going on Overthemoonmilk.com to get a coupon for a $1 off. He said thanks for the tip. view more & comment

I told one of my friends about the Over the Moon milk Dream Big Contest. I told her that Garelick Farms has a new product that is called Over the Moon milk and it consists of a fat free milk that tastes like 1% and a 1% milk that tastes like whole. I told her she should give it a try because it really does taste good. She said that she never heard of it but that if she finds it she will see if she likes it. I went on to tell her that they also have a contest called the Dream Big Contest in which a person is asked to submit an essay, song, video, poster or other expression of how the person would spend $25,000 to help their community. She said that it sounded interesting. I told her that I know that she is very involved in the community and that she should enter. I received your buzz packet this afternoon and was planning on going grocery shopping. I was at the grocery store looking at the milk and there was a woman standing next to me. I said to her "have you ever tried Garelick milk?" She said no, she likes Hood. I said, "they have fat-free milk that tastes like 2% and they also have 1% that tastes like whole milk." she said she is used to Hood, and wasn't sure about paying for another brand that she doesn't know if it tastes good. So of course I brought all my coupons with me, and said to her "Here is a coupon for a free 1/2 gallon for you to try." She said "WOW thank you!!!" I said your welcome and we chatted for about 10 minutes. I grabbed my 1/2 gallon of 1% (I like the taste of whole milk) and off to the cash register I went. view more & comment

On Superbowl Sunday my hubby's entire family and their spouses and kids came over to watch our new bigscreen tv. The house was packed. We were all having a great time. Lots of munchies, dinner, and dessert. I took out my container of 1% Over the Moon, told everyone I'd be serving it in the coffee, but I was leaving out a stack of paper cold cups so that everyone could have a taste of the milk by itself. I explained how it was a new product, and I wanted to know what they thought of it. WOW!! What a reaction I got from my buoyant group. "I forgot what whole milk tasted like!" commented one brother-in-law. "This is great! I have to buy some of this milk!" was one of my sisters-in-law's reaction. I told them that I had coupons and gave one out to each family. I didn't have to "push" these coupons - everyone took one enthusiastically. I had looked up Over the Moon's availability in our area earlier in the day, and told everyone where they could find it. Everyone agreed that the milk was something they would be buying on their next shopping trip. view more & comment

I was at a weekly Weight Watchers meeting. There is a time during the meetings where the leader asks if anyone has anything to share, well I took that opportunity to tell people about Over the Moon Milk. I had no trouble gushing about the product because it is delicious! I have been using it for a week and love it. The fact that it is not watery, like typical skim milk is, was a huge plus to my use of it in coffee. I also liked that when I cooked with it, I could substitute it for cream because its consistency was richer. I told all the members present about these things and many of them seemed genuinely interested in trying the product. The leader even said she would pass along the recommendation to other meetings she runs! view more & comment

An acquaintance of mine displayed some concern for her father because she said that she feels that he should eat healthier but that he is old school and doesn't want to listen to her and add healthier foods to his diet. I told her that the key is to find foods that are healthy but taste as good as the unhealthy stuff that he is use to eating. She agreed. I told her that I could recommend some products that are healthy but are not lacking in flavor or taste and that are also things that her dad eats during a normal day. First I bzzed to her about Al Fresco chicken sausage which I wrote a report on and then I told her about Over the Moon milk. I told her that the Over the Moon line consisted of 2 new products from Garelick Farms. One was a fat free milk that tastes like 2% milk and comes in a blue carton and the other is a 1% lowfat milk that tastes like whole milk and comes in a red carton. I told her the milk would be great to make her dad's coffee creamy without the added fat. She wrote down the name of it and said that not only would she pick it up for her dad but she was going to pick it up for herself. She said that she would pick it up for her dad because he would probably lose the paper with the name and never end up buying it but by her picking it up he wouldn't have an excuse. I told her that I hoped they both like it. view more & comment

I was outside having a break and was talking about having to grocery shop after work. I was telling my coworker & friend Diane about trying the Over the moon milk. I said how it was 1% milk, but tasted like whole milk. She said that she doesn't really drink a lot of milk, but has to buy it for her son and hates to pay the price. Almost $4 a gallon here. I told her that I had a couple of cents of coupons for the milk if she wanted to try it. She really didn't respond either way. Another woman then stated that she only buys Lactaid, and then the conversation really concentrated on the cost of milk, why was it so expensive and that people were interested in the "new" milks like Over the moon, but that they were even more expensive than real milk. Anyways to make a long story short, when we went back inside I gave Diane a couple of the coupons for Over the moon milk, she said "thanks, maybe I'll try it". Well, today when I came in I asked if she had tried the milk. She said no, but her son did and he really liked it - calling it "move over" milk. So maybe he can convince mom to try it. Perhaps he can bzz his friends on the playground! view more & comment

I gave a free half gallon coupon to my mother so she could try the OTM milk. She usually buys fat free skim milk and I wanted her to try this milk that tasted more like whole milk. She got a half gallon over the weekend and liked how the milk made her coffee and tea light without all the added fat of light cream or whole milk. She thought it smelled kind of funny and hoped there was not alot of chemicals in the milk to give it that taste. She bought the 1% lowfat milk by the way. We looked at the ingredients and were happy to see nothing artificial was in it! Mom also liked the fact that it has extra calcium and protein and much less fat than reg whome milk. I like the fact this milk lasts as long as it does. It does say on the carton to consume within 7 days after opening, but when I buy other kinds of milk it seems to go bad way before then. I think it's great that they hanve a money bak guarantee on the milk so people will try it ! Good idea! I really like this milk as well as my family and Mom. I love the new name it has OVER THE MOON is a really cool name for this product. I think it used to be called "Fit Milk" and I think OTM is a much better name for it. Thanks for letting us try it!! I also gave Mom and my sister in law some of the .50 off coupons for future purchases. Thanks again!! view more & comment

I am a wife and a mother to three small girls, so needless to say, we go through a LOT of milk, not to mention groceries in general. Again, I was at the grocery store today and I wanted to use one of my free coupons for the OVER THE MOON milk, but there was none on the shelf. I found the dairy person and asked if there was any in the back. While I was waiting for him to come back with some I struck up a conversation with a woman who had her 4 kids with her. This week is school vacation for her family, it was last week for our town. I was alone, she was going nuts. When the man came back with my milk she asked what was so special about "That one" that I would wait for it. I explained that not only did I have a free coupon (that was worth the wait alone!) but my kids actually LOVE it and that I will continue to buy it even when my coupons are gone. She was intrigued because she said she had a hard time getting her kids to drink enough milk, but maybe this would help. She grabbed 2 cartons full, the dairy guy listened and said he was glad to know it was good, his wife would like it... AND one other woman didn't say a word but had clearly heard us talking and I saw her take a carton. I am starting to feel like I should set up a booth in the dairy department and hand out samples. I feel like I am selling this stuff, but it is so good, it sells itself!! view more & comment

I used my remaining coupons and bought milk and brought it to my sons daycare school. We used the milk for snack time with the students (about 20) and parents who came to help. We've been studying nutrition. All in attendance sampled the milk and all were amazed that it was fat free. We talked about taste, one little boy asked if it came from a skinny cow. All the parents asked about how I heard of this product, none had seen it in the stores yet and I told them that it could be purchased at all of our major grocery stores (I called and checked). We talked about price, nutritional values. What a great way to spread the word of a new product! Thanks for this opportunity! view more & comment

I had just returned from the market when I popped into my nieces house for a quick visit. I had used my last 2 coupons for FREE "Over The Moon" milk and had 2 half gallons sitting in the car. While chatting with my niece I decided it was a good opportunity to BUZZ so I asked her if she'd like a half gallon of milk. I told her it was a new product and that I had received free coupons to try it. Needless to say with 2 children and 1 income she jumped at the chance to get free milk. I sent a child outside to bring in a half gallon and kids being kids they decided they wanted a glass right away. She opened and poured and the kids drank the milk and left...no reaction. I was hoping for something so I told Tracy (my niece) that it was a product that tasted better then regular milk and was healthier too. She tasted it..pronounced it ... OK and that was that. I asked her of she thought it tasted better then regular Garelick milk and she said...no it was the same:::shrug:::! I certainly tasted the difference but not everybody's taste is the same...guess it was a bit of a waste of milk :>( oh well...my Sister likes it so I got at least ONE convert!! view more & comment

I went to grocery store around my house with the intention of picking up my free half gallon of Over the Moon milk. Well when I got to the store and arrived at the milk section, I found tons of milk from different brands but I couldn't find the Over the Moon milk. I spotted milk from Garelick Farms but still no Over the Moon milk, what a disappointment! One of the workers was in that section stocking dairy products, so I decided to ask him if they sokd the milk. HeyI figured it was worth a try because maybe I had an oversight. I showed him the coupon and told him that I was looking for that milk because it is low in fat but tastes like regular milk. He shook his head and said that they didn't sell it. I then went to the register to check out my groceries and when the cashier asked me if I found everything I needed I told her no and showed her the coupon and told her I was look for Over the Moon milk which is a new product from Garelick farms and it comes in two different varieties which is one that is a fat free milk that tastes like 2% milk and a 1% milk that tastes like whole milk. I told her that I found othere Garelick Farms products but not the Over the Moon milk. She said that she had never heard of it and that it is probably a new product and that sometimes coupons come out before the product. I told her that the product it out because I have bought it elsewhere but it would be nice to be able to pick it up around my house. I told her that I would ask the manager about it because I know that it is a fairly new product and that the store probably didn't get it on yet but they should think about doing it. I didn't have to,e to wait for the manager, so I asked one of the assistant managers and he said that most likely it will be in stock soon since they carry Garelick Farms products. I told him ok that I would be checking for it because I don't want to have to travel for milk. Then on my quest to find Over the Moon milk around my house (I just didn't have the time to go pick it up where I bought it for the V-Day party), I went to CVS. I knew it would be a long shot. I went there and of course they had Garelick Farms milk which I ended up buying but they didn't have the Over the Moon milk. I told her she could offer different flavors to make, buy silly straws and put them in fancy glasses or buy some plastic ones. She said that was a great idea because her daughter is excited and she knows that something like that would make her happy. I told her that I knew about a product that would make those fattening milkshakes healthy. She asked what it was and I told her Over the Moon milk. She said that she never heard of it. Having already tried, and found tasty, I decided to bring Over the Moon into my school. It was a special day, my assistants birthday, so the students and I brought in some baked goods, and of course you need milk to go with it. I volunteered to bring in the milk. Well, our school stresses low fat, and of course my assistant watches what she eats. Well to balance off the "fat food", the Over the Moon was very welcome. Of course, most were skeptical, unfortunately the product is not available in my area, have to travel about 20 miles to get, thank goodness for Price Chopper! As we sat around gobbling up our cake, and drinking our milk, one of the students commented about usually only getting skim milk at home, and how much better this was. My assistant agreed, though really worried about her fat intake at this point. Not to worry! I passed around the now empty containers, because naturally everyone went back for seconds. The kids couldn't care less, but being an ingredient reader, my assistant, and the visiting parents checked out fat, calories and the rest. They were pleased. The parents, because their kids actually drank and liked it, my assistant because she liked it, and it fits into her diet plan. All left happy, with their thirsts satisfied, and of course, coupons in their pockets so they could enjoy Over the Moon at home. Ahhh, what a perfect ending! view more & comment

I host a regular playdate at my house with my son's preschool friends and their moms. This week I served the children soybutter and jelly sandwiches with waterfruit to drink. As they were eating I asked the other moms what they usually feed their kids and what they give them to drink at home. Most of the moms said that they give milk to drink with all meals. I asked what kind they serve (whole milk, two percent, etc). Most of them said two percent or 1 percent. I asked if they had ever tried Over the Moon and none of them had. I told them about the product, and that what I really liked is that it is from Garelick farms. That is a name that we all trust as being healthy for our kids. They were all familiar with the brand but didn't know if they would buy the product. One of the women had tried the Simply Smart and didn't like it. I told them that I generally like Garelick farms more than hood and I was sure this product would be no different. I told them that Roche Brothers near us had just started to carry it and we should all give it a try. I gave them the 50 cents off coupons and they all said they would try it and let me know what they thought. Later that day I saw one of them at the store and reminded here about the milk, she didn't have her coupon so I gave her mine. She reported that she and her kids loved it. view more & comment

After a successful Bzz on my first campaign (the al fresco sausages), I was very excited to share the latest bzz for Garelick Farm's new "Over the Moon" milk product. I figured one of the most perfect spots to create this bzz was at my child's preschool. They serve milk daily to the children at snack and lunch time. So, off I went to the grocery store to obtain a few half-gallons using the "free" coupons. However, once I got to the cashier to check my items out, I was informed that in the state of Massachusetts, it is against the law to use any coupons for milk. Needless to say, I was so disappointed. It turns out that Massachusetts and Maine are two states in the USA that do not allow coupons to be redeemed for milk. But having made promises to the school director that I would be supplying this new milk product, I purchased the milk anyway with my own money. And, the feedback on this new product was terrific!!! The children couldn't tell the difference, and the added benefit of the product having less fat than regular milk products was an added bonus. I was hoping to give the remainder of my coupons to the school staff; however, they will not be able to use them here in Massachusetts. So, I will be sending them to my sister up in New Hampshire so that she can share in the excitement of this new product with her family. Now, if we can just get that silly law here in Massachusetts changed! Thanks once again for allowing me to participate! Maggie view more & comment

I was talking to my friend about the 24/24 concept. I got my calendar from them and checked out the website, so I figured that I would spread the word about it and include some Over-the-Moon buzz. I asked her if she saw the commercial for 24/24 milk. She said no but asked what it was about. I told her that they did research to show that when you drink 24 ounces of milk every 24 hours in your diet then you stand to lose more weight than people who don't drink milk. I told her that she should definitely check out the site because they offer meal suggestions and more info. She said that she would because it seems easy enough to do. I told her that to make it even better Garelick Farms has this product called Over-the-Moon milk that comes in two varieties which are a fat free milk that tastes like 2% milk and a 1% milk that tastes like whole. She said that would be great because she hates the taste of fat free milk. I gave her a coupon for 50 cents off and told her she should definitely try it out because it is good to cook with and drink and that if she wants to she could go on the website and get a $1 off coupon. She asked what the website was and when I told her she wrote it down and said that she is definitely going to pick some up. view more & comment

My son, Ian, turned two this weekend. We had a small birthday party for him with four of his little friends and their parents. When it came time for cake and ice cream, I offered the 'grown-ups' Over the Moon skim milk as a drink option with their cake. Three dads and a mom tried Over the Moon. They all really enjoyed it and almost everyone present ended up tasting it. Everyone who tasted it remarked on how much richer it was. One dad's comment really summed up the entire conversation, "I've been drinking skim milk for 20 years. I can't believe this is skim. It's good enough to make me feel like I'm being bad." The conversation moved on to other things, but as everyone was leaving, I remembered my bizzkit coupons and gave out what I had left. My friend Sheila remarked that it was the best party favor going! view more & comment

My daughters friend from College was diagnosised with Gout and part of his treatment included a special diet. In his special diet he had to limit his intake of milk, which he LOVES to drink. I asked him if he could just cut down from whole milk to a 2% or a skim milk, he said yes but that he didn't like the taste of anything but whole milk. I gave one of my free half gallon ocupons to him. I told him that I had bought this milk about a week or so ago and my son who also only drinks whole milk drank most of it and didn't even notice that it was skim milk. I told him it was worth a try, if worse came to worse and he didn't like it, it wasn't like he lost any money on it. I told him I was really amazed at how unskimmy it tasted. So I gave him the coupon, about a week later I talked to him, I had forgotten all about giving him the coupon until he started to tell me how much he liked the milk, how it tasted just like whole milk, and that his doctor would be proud of him. I gave him one of the 55 cent off coupons and he thanked me. He said it was sort of pricey, which I have to say I agree with, but as long as he had coupons or it was on sale he would purchase it. He said he might purchase it other times without a sale or coupon, if he really wanted to drink some milk that day. I'm just glad that he found an alternative to the lack of whole milk situation. view more & comment

I went to Stop & Shop to do my grocery shopping. I took along my Over The Moon Milk coupons with me. As me and my son were at the milk section, I came across an elderly woman checking with her 2 daughters and grandson. Her grandson was talking with my son and we started discussing our families. The elderly woman's name was Teresa and she was very nice. I reached over and grabbed 2 cartons of Over The Moon milk while we were talking and she asked me if it was any good. I told her that my family enjoyed it very much and told her the story of my friend Carla's son drinking it even though he didn't like milk. She was very interested and went over and checked out the milk. She looked at me and said "my that is quite expensive for a half gallon". I said it was but it was very good and I normally bought it with coupons. I then went into my purse and handed her a coupon for a free half gallon and one for 50 cents off. I told her to try it and if she liked it she could always use the 50 cent coupon for another one. She was very greatful to me as she explained she lived on a small pension and social security so she had to be very careful what she spent. She reached over and hugged me and said she really appreciated me giving her the coupons. We finished our discussion and she left with her family with 2 half gallons of Over the Moon Milk in her shopping cart. view more & comment

On March 7th, I had a dinner party with 8 friends over my house. For dessert we had pie and coffee, I bought to the table Over the Moon milk to the table in stead of cream. I told the guests that this was a "great new product of milk that gives you the taste of whole milk but the fat of 1%. And it gives you more protein and calcium than our milk." I tlod them to give it a try in our coffee instead of high calorie cream or whole milk. 5 of out of my 8 guest enjoyed the milk. Mostly the women did because of the lowfat and calorie factor. The men on the other hand said they like to stick to creamer. I bzzed how great it taste as a drink, recipe and cereal. I emphamized how great the taste is and all the added benefits especially when serving to their children. Two of my friends kids (ages 4 &7)were there and they tried and they truely liked it. The women were very interested reading the container of milk. I added that you can find it at Stop and Shop in the speciality milk section. I gave them a 50c coupon too. view more & comment

I was having breakfast at a local truck stop well known for down home, yummy breakfasts. I was with a co-worker, discussing business but the tables in this restaurant are set up as long rectangles that seat anywhere from 10 to 14 people, so you sit where you want and you might share a table with three or four other sets of diners. An older foursome was sitting near us and I overheard a gentleman order the trucker's special (you don't even want to know!) and then remark to his party that he usually had cereal for breakfast, but hated skim milk. (Can you tell he ws trying to rationalize the pancake, egg, bacon and sausage, toast, and coffee bonanza he'd just committed to?) They started talking about how milk just wasn't what it used to be "when you got it fresh from the farm with cream still floating in it..." I leaned over and told them they could have their good health and tasty milk to. They chuckled, but I went on to explain about Over The Moon milk. After a bit of disbelief, they were genuinely excited. One guy even asked me to write it all down (the product name and where to find it in our local Shaw's -- they don't put it with the regular milk, it's located in an adjacent cooler with the lactose-free and soy milk...) for him so that he could give it to his wife. view more & comment

I was food shopping at a local grocery store, Market Basket, recently with my three-year-old daughter. I was hoping to find this milk there since it's been impossible to find at my usual grocery store. Anyway, my daughter had the free coupon in her hand so she could help find the milk. How excited (and loud!) she became when she/we found the milk in the dairy section. "There it is, Mommy. There it is, Mommy." was overheard by a few acquaintances of ours from Bedford. We all started talking about my daughter (of course!) and also the milk. I told the four women (with their children) about the milk and how it's supposed to taste great with less fat. (I also told them about my coupons and BzzAgent. One of the women wrote down the web address.) I hadn't previously found the milk in a store until that time so my family hadn't tried it yet. None of the four women had ever heard of Over The Moon Milk before, but two of them expressed interest in it. One said, "My husband only likes the taste of whole milk. I wonder if he would be fooled by this one." I gave her and the other three women each a coupon to try it out. I know that two of the four bought the milk that day. I'm not sure about the other two women. view more & comment

I was speaking to one of my internet buddies and told her that there is a new milk in the market from Garelick Farms and it is called Over the Moon milk. I told her that it comes in two varieties which are a fat free milk that tastes like 1% and a 1% milk that tastes like whole. She said that she wanted to buy the 1% milk but I had to tell her that I know that she doesn't live in upstate NY or Connecticut, so she couldn't buy it for herself because the milk doesn't sell in her area. She asked why I was telling her about it lol. I told her the reason was that I did remember that she mentioned that her cousin lives in Upstate New York and I thought it would be something that she may want to mention to her. She said that it did sound like something her cousin would buy and that she would mention it to her but she wished that she could buy it in her area. I told her maybe she should write the company even though they are based in New England or she could wait to try it when she comes to visit lol. She said that we always have the good stuff that she can never find. view more & comment

My daughter's school had a Pot Luck Dinner for the 8th grade students and their parents. I was in charge of the beverage area. I bought soda, water, coffee, tea and 2 cartons of milk (one for the coffee and tea and one for anyone that wanted milk to drink). The Milk was Over The Moon Fat Free Milk and 1% Milk. I also put my remaining 3 50 cent off coupons in my pocket. Half way through the dinner both cartons of milk were gone so someone took one of my coupons and went to Stop & Shop and bought another half gallon. I had numerous people come up to me and ask me where I bought it since one their kids loved the 1% milk and they parents the Fat-Free tasted like whole milk. I told them that I found it at Stop and Shop. They said that milk would be something that they would buy on a regular basis. The Principal of the school told me she had never had so many people asking her were one of the beverages came from and said that they had a meeting on Tuesday evening and was wondering if I could pick up a carton of the milk and bring it with me since she liked it better than whole milk or half and half in coffee. I told her I would. All in all it seemed there was more talk about the milk than the food at the Pot Luck Dinner. So far I have not encountered one person who tried it that did not like it. view more & comment

My husband and I had a dinner party for some friends on Friday night. It was mexican themed with some rather spicy foods. There was one dish that was particularly spicy. As my friends grabbed for their beers I told them that beer only spreads the spices around, the best way to cool off your mouth is with dairy products (dairy unlocks the capsaisin found in peppers from your taste buds and washes them down). They were doubting me but they needed help so I poured them all a glass of Over the Moon 1%. Not only did it cool their taste buds, but it delighted them as well. They all loved it! We all had a big glass with the rest of our dinner. I gave them each a .50 cents coupon (I ran out of free carton coupons) and directed them to the web site. They all said they had seen the TV ad and we talked about whether it was funny. Not suprisingly the women thought it was funny, the men did not. I explained the benefits of Over the Moon and showed them the carton. They all said they would buy it the next time they buy milk. One friend currently buys Parmalat because it lasts so long so I told about the ultra pastuerization. She said she would buy it, but would prefer if it came in smaller sizes. Another women said she would love to see it in "juice box" size so that she could send it in her son's lunch box. view more & comment
