Oprah's Lifeclass if For Everyone's Life I was excited to hear about Oprah's Lifeclass on OWN. I have had to DVR it and it is so worth watching. The online journal that is available is also very helpful in taking a look at what's going on in your own life and how to work on changing things for the better. Misleading Oprah Winfrey could certainly bring on the guests that you want to see. However, as a roll model, her life and beliefs have unfortunately duped millions. "Oprah Changed My Life" I've been watching the Oprah show for years. Now I am missing the Oprah show. I like Oprah because she had the fortitude to speak to issues that burdened the everyday people. One day when I tuned in she was busy describing various forms of domestic abuse. As she progressed through the show I realized for the first time that my spouse was abusing me. Oprah Pride My brothers always ask me why I love Oprah so much, and my response is "Because she does so much good". They ask for examples, and so many flood to the surface that I can't decide where to start. If you tuned into her last episode and saw the young girls (deemed "Oprah Babies" by Dakota Fanning) explaining how she made a difference in their lives, you would never question the good of this woman again! OOO No! What is it that people are so addicted to?? I am puzzled! Her interviews are constantly revolving around herself and what her views are about everything. Her voice is painful to listen to, even though she seems to LOVE to listen to herself! I think she is condescending and extremely narrow minded (and at times I wonder if she is prejudice) What completely blows my mind and makes me angry, is when she bought her OWN network and put the Discovery Health Chanel out of business!! They had AMAZING programing on that channel, and it was replaced with a whole bunch of garbage! The majority of the programs she plays are old, old repeats of shows that weren't that good the first time around! Then she fills in the gaps with behind the scenes of her or talk shows with Gayle! I think she should just bow down gracefully, and let the new generation of people who are actually interesting take over!! Everytime she speaks you can tell she's a very intellegent person and I was quiet sad when she announced she is leaving the Oprah Winfrey Show to pursue something else. Oprah is the Talk Show Queen Oprah has been around for 25 years and this is her last season. Sometimes I hate her interviews (no one should ever interview children for more than three minutes) and sometimes I love them. I love a good makeover, health, and cooking show. Oprah, hard act to follow I have watched oprah all 25 years of my life. To me she is just another ordnary person, who shares her opinions and views with the world and provides a stage to let other ordinary people do the same. She has shed light on some of the worlds most pressing issues and opened many peoples eyes. Everything in life has a season Being from Chicago I have watched and been a fan of Oprah since AM Chicago. Although, I rarely watch he now I do DVR the show just in case something comes up that interest me. Regardless how one feels about Oprah and her show you must admit that she has made a definite impact. The show that will forever stick in my mind was the one about blue eyes. They separated the audience with those that had blue eyes and those that didn't and treated one group better then they treated the other group. It was a lesson racism and allowing people to see how it felt to be discriminated against. Wonderful show. Have you ever found yourself quoting her or found yourself making decisions based on what you heard on the show? Oprah - Commercial diluge I used to love to watch Oprah but now if there is a good interview on - you get into it - she fires off 2 or 3 questions, time for a commercial. Makes people's life better I have watched Oprah Winfrey for years - and have learned so much that I can personally apply to my own life. Every show I watch, I learn something that helps me be a better person. I had the good fortune to be able to go to the Oprah show for a taping years ago - a memorable experiece. Educational, thought-provoking, and ente... I always heard about how great Oprah is, and now that we see all the hype about her last season on network TV, I decided to check it out. I had seen a few episodes in the past, but this year I decided to try recording the show every day. I've really enjoyed seeing what's in store each day. The mood can range from extremely somber to celebratory, and various topics are often used to inspire and educate.
