Nick Jr I love the Nick Jr website. I have a six year old son and he loves to go to the site and play the educational games and watch videos of his favorite Nick Jr. shows. Amazed on a daily basis.... I was the one who always said I would never let the tv babysit my children; then I had a small change of heart when I found Nick Jr. Every program is educational and it amazes me how much my children have learned from the different shows. Educational My kids love this channel. Its on my t.v all day. This channel has very educational cartoons that keep my kids entertained and they learn alot from them. Love this channel! I love this channel for my son! Little Bear comes on at 12 and 12:30, right at nap time for my son who is 4. He falls asleep watching it every day. Great channel for little ones I know that my daughter should not be watching t.v. as young as she is, but I limit it. I chose for her to watch this channel because of the educational value in between shows. She loves Moose and Zee. And I love that it's not all mindless watching. I Love Nick Jr. My 2 boys love Nick Jr. The best thing is that there are no commercials because my oldest son hates commercials. They watch Dora, Diego, Blues Clues, and the Backyardigans. Even Mom can like it All 3 of my kids have LOVES Nick Jr. There's just something about Backyardigans and Dora that all my kids have loved. Currently my youngest is in love with Wonder Pets. Love Nick Jr very educational All 4 of my daughters have grown up watching Nick Jr. My 3 year old have learned a lot watching Nick Jr shows like Dora now she speaks Spanish as well as English and she has also learned some Chinese from watching Ni Hao Kai-LAN. They have many educational show for the kids, and when you go to there website they have a lot of activities for the kids to do. Jr love Jr Nick Jr has wonderful shows, I love that my children can watch fn educational shows that aren't super cheesy or tacky. Bubble Guppies is our new favorite show We recently found Bubble Guppies on Nick Jr. and my 2 year old loves it. It teaches them things, from colors to construction, without being boring. She sings and dances, and today in the car she told me the light was red and that means stop. Best programming for my 2 year old! I don't know what I would do somedays with out Nick Jr. Not having commercials is so nice. My son does not like to wait and doesn't understand when a commercial comes on and there is no TV show. The shows on Nick are also educational. I find my son telling me things and doing things I know I didn't teach him ( I stay home with him) and realize he learned it from one of his shows. Nick jr is the best! Not having commercials would be enough to make nick jr the best kids tv programming ever ( I hate the sudden urge my kid has to want every toy ever invented and commercialized) but nick jr actually has educational shows on it! I don't have to worry about nick jrs cartoons getting too adult-like ( like other channels) my son loves Dino Dan and I actually like yo gabba gabba. Most shows teach values, learning stuff and whatnot. Breaks in-between shows involve moose and zee singing songs or teaching shapes, seasons, Ect. I actually get the songs stuck in my head sometimes! Great toddler programming I am totally aware that I could receive lots of criticism for allowing my one year old to watch tv. In fact, I already have. I am well aware that it is not the best use of her time, but feel that mixed with lots of book reading, play, classes, etc... it is not hurting her... in fact, I think there are pieces of it that are helpful... especially with Nick Jr. My toddler loves Nick Jr and my husband and I don't mind it either. It provides good lessons, fun music and features lessons on letters, seasons, etc. Nick Jr advertises as preschool on television. best programming for the little ones We absolutely love Nick Jr. each and every show will help you children jump start their education and the fact that there are no commercials is a god send. I don't have worry about my child being sucked into the latest as seen on tv fad or explain that mommy and daddy can't afford all the crazy new toys. Great teaching cartoons My kids watch the cartoons everyday. It is the only cartoon channel that we allow. They have learned so much from their favorites like Wonder pets, Dora, Olivia, The backyardigans, and so many more. Best Channel Ever It seems that since my two year old has ventured out into the land of tv, all the shows she likes are on either PBS or Nick Jr. Nick's great for not having any commercials and newer shows that seem to reach out to youngsters. Great for Learning and Entertainment.. My daughter who is now 3 has watched nick jr for a few years now. She loves all the shows that comes on and learned to count in Spanish and to say up and down. She can use these words in the right pretense. She is now interacting with the show and can tell which path to take or whatever the quest may be. She watches many more of the shows and learns many different things. She surprises me more every day with a new song or phrase. Good shows While my child loves Nick Jr. and I like it as well, I'm disappointed that some of the good shows they used to have aren't played anymore. Blue's Clues is one of those shows. I've had to buy the dvds of the shows so he can watch it. I just wish it still at least had repeats at a decent time of day other than at ridiculous hours of the morning. The best television channel for kids. My family walks around singing the jungles from Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. The programming is high quality and entertaining. The Best Channel for Your Little One!! This is the only channel that my son watches. Its great because it teaches him so much. Not only different languages (Spanish-Dora,Chinese-Nie How Kylan) it teaches him shapes,proper language,odidence and so much more. Im not a big fan of sponge bob. umi zoomi I just wanted to say that I think it is great that Nick Jr now has Umi Zoomi. At first I thought it was going to be a really annoying preschool program, but it is a cute show. I think its great to have a show that focuses on early math skills- there are alot about reading and other languages but few about math. My Son Plays Daily NickJr.com has great online games for preschoolers. My 4 year old son has a wonderful time playing the games and while I sometimes feel they might not be as educational as the PBSKids.org games, I think he enjoys them more.
