Michael Jackson > glove earrings

One year for christmas my two boys surprised me with a pair of white sparkly gloved shaped earrings. They were pretty butt ugly but, being the good mother that I am, I thanked them profusely. We were getting ready for church and one of the boys raced up to me with the beloved white earrings saying "mommy you forgot something". What's a mother to do? So I put the hideous earrings on. I walked into church avoiding making eye contact with others, hoping they wouldn't notice the earrings. As we were sitting quietly in church one of my boys tugged on my arm and smiled brightly up at me " you look beautiful today mommy, with those earrings on". Needless to say, I walked out of church that day with my head held high. My friend noticed my special earrings and said "your earrings are darling, I wonder who got those for you". My boys smiled broadly as they bothed chirpped, "We did!".
