Meijer has it all, and more Meijer is not your normal Walmart/Kroger type store. It has everything from diapers to bananas to motor oil to baseball gloves. It is literally a one-stop shopping mall. Anything and everything is there and is usually on sale or very reasonably priced. I suggest this place to anyone in the Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky area. view more	Nov 7, 2011	13
Meijer - much better than other bigbox s... I really like the way Meijers have their groceries arranged and that they have the pet products and cleaning supplies and plastic food containers placed in the store - At walmart you have to go through the health and beauty and pharmacy area ususally on the opposite end of the store. The only grocery store for me! I was born and raised in Oklahoma and we didn't have Meiners there. So, when we moved to Ohio is wasn't sure which grocery store would have the best prices and the best coupon policy. I tried a few different places, but I always came back to meijer! Fellow Meijer Convert Meijer is where it is at. When I first encountered their stores 18 years ago I wasn't impressed. Over time I have come to love their store. Meijer in Burton Mi I have had to finally give up on going to the Meijer in Burton. The store shelves are always missing many items, the meat is not stocked, floors are filthy and yesterday I had an argument with a cashier. I had a $3.00 off your next order coupon, she scanned all my coupons except that one. After showing her that only dollar coupons were on the screen she said she couldnt find it. It was in with all the others in the bag she had put it in, but we had to disagree for at least 5 minutes over this. What happened to customer service? Can't beat their prices You really can't beat the prices! We've shopped there for years and they've always had a good produce section although the meat selection leaves a little to be desired. Our store was recently remodeled so that was a hassle to go through and I'm still trying to figure out where everything is, but all in all I'm always happy to shop there. The fact that they have a little bit of everything helps when you have 3 small children and it prevents additional stops if there are other things you need. I don't buy too many meijer brand foods but the ones that I have purchased have all been of great quality. Friendliest store employees The Meijer in Davison, MI has the BEST employees in any other store I have ever shopped in. The greeters are genuine and every employee greets you when you walk through the store. The employees are all knowledgeable within their departments and can also help you find things that are not in their department and you never feel like you are bothering them. Meijer shopper I've been shopping at Meijer for over 25 years! It's my main grocery shopping store. I've always loved being able to do one stop shopping too! Last year our Walmart changed over to Super Walmart. I thought I might try shopping there instead ... went once and won't go back, not for weekly grocery shopping anyway. They just don't have the quality and selection when it comes to produce and meats that Meijer does. My only problem with Meijer is that sometimes sale items are out of stock even on the first day of the sale. Other than that...no complaints from me. :) view more	Oct 5, 2011	18

Good Selection, Okay Prices I am a recent Meijer shopper. I had some bad experiences using coupons at Wal-mart (and I am not a crazy couponer) so I decided to check out Meijer. Wow! The store is so clean, the produce is fresh, and the customer service is amazing. I even found out that my Meijer doubles coupons up to 50 cents. I really love Meijer, but coupon accepta... I love Meijers prices and the fact that they take coupons and double them! I also like the $10 and $20 coupons I get sometimes when I fill prescriptions! My one complaint about Meijer is the use of coupons for free items. I will NEVER use coupons for free items at meijer again!! I have tried it on a few different occasions and they never give me full value. I have fought with them over it, but they always come up with some excuse. Great Groceries and Other Items I live in Texas now but grew up in Michigan. I love Meijer. Every time I am back up visiting family, I have to visit. My Long-Time Grocery Store I've been grocery shopping at Meijer for over 20 years. I also have a Kroger, Foodtown, Super Wal Mart and a few private grocery stores in my area. I continue to shop at Meijer each week. I like them because their prices are the best. The store is modern and the employees are helpful and friendly. My complaints are that sale items that are really good usually are sold out by the end of the first day of the sale. Secondly, they take longer than usual to get new products in. Meijer Corporation also does not answer each and every email, which I've sent a few over the years. Either they don't reply or send form emails that don't really answer your question. best store! I grew up in Michigan where Meijer is very prevalent. My mom even knows the Meijer family! And I have to say, this is the best store ever. The best comparison is to a Super Walmart, but that doesn't even come close. The difference is... Meijer is all about having the best groceries. Way more than the average regular grocery store. Lots of great selection, at really good prices. Yes, it also has a huge selection of other things... art supplies, electronics, clothes... anything you can think of. Meijer, all in one! I shop at meijer all the time, as my mom did when I was little. I love tha they have everything I need and I do not have to go to 10 different stores to get what I need. They actually have really cute clothes and shoes (for adults and kids) for pretty good prices. I admit their prices have gone up a bit in clothing area's, but still not too bad. Also, they could have more staff as I usually have to walk around to several different departments to find someone to help, and they usually are not that friendly or act happy to be there. A for the most part shopper My family has always shopped at Meijer, for the most part their prices can not be beat and their staff is usually very nice and helpful. Generally a Good Shopping Experience I'm a big coupon shopper. I very rarely go to the store without a stack of coupons. So how your store handles coupons is a huge factor in my opinion of your store. Meijer is generally very coupon friendly. They also offer their own store printable coupons and e-coupons. All big plusses in my book. Their selection is good, and their employees are generally friendly and helpful (though there are always those few....). My biggest complaint is their lack of stock for sale items. I've had days where I've gone to the store on the very first day of the sale and they've been completely out of the item I was looking for. Rainchecks are ok, but really? You can't keep enough stock for a single day? All in all, I like Meijer and shop there frequently. I've got a few gripes, but who doesn't? view more	Jun 12, 2011	16

Reasonable prices, great selection, frie... Meijer first came to my town in approximately 2006, and I have been hooked ever since! Their prices are similar to those of other major retailers, however I find that there is a larger selection of things I enjoy purchasing like fruit, vegetables, and wine. :) I did not give my Meijer a 5 star because I wish that there was an automotive center like some other retailers. view more	May 26, 2011	23

Poor customer service Generally I am very complimentary about Meijer. Today I went to my local Meijer store and my usual Uscan check out lady was on another register. The person they had on Uscan was the nastiest person I have every encountered. She was "bothered" that she had to help me with some of my coupons. Meijer is the Best not only for Produce ... This is by far my favorite grocery store. They have absolutely the BEST selection of produce anywhere, at a reasonable price. The selection of brands they offer is really enormous as well, from national to local I find everything I am ever looking for. I also love that they are so coupon friendly, unlike walmart and some other local chains. They even put out their own store coupons that you can combine with sales and manufacturer coupons, which equals amazing prices! They are a little higher than walmart on everyday items but run amazing sales and as stated the coupon policy allows me to consistently beat the pants off of Walmart prices. You'll see ME & MEijer! Our Meijer has been around for several years now. I love shopping at Meijer. I have a Target, Wal Mart, and Kroger very close to my home but I choose Meijer because of their quality products, prices, and coupon policy. Meijer meats and produce are great. They are right up there with Kroger's produce. Meijer's prices are better overall than ANY other retailer around. Meijer is the Bomb! Our local Meijer is about 1.5 miles from our home. We visit it frequently. Whether it be for gas from their gas station, prescriptions from the pharmacy, household items or food/beverage, Meijer is the place we shop. The local Walmart is a 1/4 mile further, but we prefer to shop at Meijer even if we pay a bit more for it. Meijer has good products (Meijer brand) for a reasonable price. Meijer - my late night destination Meijer is a retail store similar to a Target or Wal-Mart, and I would say in between those two on price and quality. The one I go to gets more of my business than Target because the Meijer is open 24 hours. And sometimes I just don't feel like being seen at Wal-Mart. The automated register coupons are great, especially if you are a regular customer. The generic Meijer brands seem good enough for a discounted price alternative. Meijer We just got a Meijer and I was really excited because it was in such a convenient location. At first the deals were really good, but now the prices have slowly been rising. Also I get very frustrated about how the store is set up, the dairy and eggs are on the complete opposite end of the store from the bread and basically everything else. They have all the necessities from food, to clothing, to pills, to music. Meijer is truly your one stop shop. And the prices are always great. The people are also always very friendly.
