Great long cooking rice I got this rice for a Bzz Campaign a long time ago. I decided then and tere that this would be the only long cooking rice I would buy. Mahatma-Saffron Yellow Ric I was not part of the Mahatma Rice Bzz Campaign, however, I felt compelled to write a review. I found this rice in my local Metro grocery store in Mississauga, Ontario recently. It is so flavorful and tender and such great value. Mahatma Yellow Rice I recently bought a whole bunch of the Mahatma Yellow Rice bags because I had coupons for them which my store doubled, so it made each bag of rice free, and I couldn't beat that. So I made a package one night when I made enchiladas and it was delicious! Very flavorful and tender. Jasmine Mahatma jasmine rice is delicious. It is a nice addition to an everyday meal and a great compliment to an elegant dish. I love it. Children and adults enjoy this easy to cook rice dish. It is yummy with a simple butter application or as a base for a stir fry dish. view more	May 16, 2011	53
Brown rice I'd never been big on rice, and definitely not bown rice. I ad no idea how delicious it could be! Jst cook it up accordin to pacge directions, add butter, salt and pepper and you've got a delicious dish! Vivid Yellow Saffron rice I wasn't a big fan of rice until I discovered Mahatma saffron rice. The rice is a vivid yellow and has a good flavor - not bland like plain white rice. I have served it with shrimp and with teriyaki chicken wings. It's good alone or with meat and veggies mixed in. It can be prepared in less than 30 minutes. Delicious These rice mixes are one of my favorites in taste. The mixture of flavors is divine. The only negative thing to me is that they contain high amounts of sodium. Instead what I do is use half the package and then add regular rice in place of the missing half and cook like that. It still taste great but lowers the sodium for all. view more	Oct 20, 2010	74
Our Go-To Brand This rice is great for a packaged mix, and after trying several versions of commercial saffron rice out there, this is our go-to brand. My kids love the buttery, salty taste. Mahatma rice is pretty good This mahatma rice cooks up perfectly in my rice cooker. I like that it is simple, and quick for days when I don't have lots of time to cook dinner. Quick recipe I love the yellow rice. I take a frozen chicken breast (or two) and put it in the pot while I make the rice to recipe. No extra time needed, just cook according to the package. Brown Rice I've had the brown rice and it had a good flavor, however, if you are hungry it takes 45 minutes or more to make so leave yourself enough time to make it I have not tried the other kinds, but there always seems to be coupons for them in the paper.
