Hardcore Lushie

I've been a die hard lush fan for about 4 years. I used to have really bad psoriasis and for the longest time Lush's Dream Cream was the only product that gave me any relief, that includes prescription creams. I love everything I've ever tried from Lush. Visiting the store is great because the employees are always so helpful and seem to love giving out samples of their products. Also, a little tip I picked up from the Lush discussion boards: if you're in the US and want to place a large online order, then do so from the UK website. It takes a little longer to get to you, but even with shipping you will save money, also the UK distribution center includes more, and larger samples with each order than the US does. view more

Caca Noir Henna

I?ve been wanting to color my hair black for so long now (and get rid of grays), but I was really hesitant to use chemical dye. After looking through tons of reviews, I figured I would give Lush?s henna a shot. The sales associate at Lush told me to use the whole block for my hair, since it is fairly long, but I chose to use half of it (3 blocks) not wanting to waste the whole thing in one go. I grated it with a cheese grater in a large bowl and added some freshly brewed coffee. I stirred it together until it was the consistency of batter. Applying it was a huge mess?chunks of henna were flying everywhere! And the smell is pretty terrible. After applying it, I wrapped my hair in saran wrap and then again in a towel and chose to leave it on overnight. Rinsing it out wasn?t too bad. Its a very odd feeling though because its so gritty. I was really surprised when I saw the color! I wasn?t expecting to even notice a change since my hair is so dark, but I saw right away that it was a shade darker?a shiny black! Most of the grays I had are gone, and the few that I could see were darkened and blended with my hair nicely. My hair is also extremely soft and shiny, although a bit greasy because of the moisturizing ingridients. All in all, I really love this and think it is a great alternative to chemical dyes...I will definitely be using it again! view more

Flying Fox shower gel

This shower gel contains the scent of jasmine, ylang, cypress and palmarosa. I love the smell of jasmine, and also the smell of honey?so this is perfect for me. It reminds me very much of the Godiva shampoo bar, which also had a jasmine scent to it. The scent is so relaxing and is great for aromatherapy and stress-relief. What I love most about this shower gel is that you can actually smell it on your skin for a while when you get out of the shower. Usually, that is the main gripe I have with a lot of body wash or soaps that I use?the smell just fades away. Needless to say, I was sniffing my arm a lot after I first used it. haha! Unfortunately, its a little bit pricey (which is the only downside). Its totally worth it though, in my opinion, especially if you love jasmine scents as much as I do! view more

You can smell Lush coming from a mile away. I know that when I step into the store that I'm going to find something that I want. I love the face masks. Therapy Bars last forever

Have you any idea how long Therapy Massage Bars hold up? My first time intentionally walking into a Lush store was to buy myself a replacement for a shampoo bar that my friend had given me as a gift. Sadly, the kind I wanted was discontinued, but the ladies in the store introduced me to one of my favourite lush creations -- massage bars. Of all the ones I smelled, I took five of them home (business time, strawberry fields forever, therapy, wiccy magic, and a Christmas edition gingerbread boy one too). They're great! I keep them near my bedside table to moisturize my hands before I go to bed, I keep one in a tin in my backpack to moisturize after washing my hands, I slip them anywhere I can. It's so much more convenient than a bottle of lotion, and it has a lasting and soothing scent that many hand creams don't have. The therapy bar in particular has lasted me a long time. I've had it for more than 3 years and it smells great. Sometimes I just open the tin to smell it. The others melt faster from the heat of your hands than the therapy massage bar, and the others have stronger scents. You should go into a lush store and smell the therapy bar. It's definitely a keeper and a favourite to stock up on, plus it's organic! view more

LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics

My 14yr old daughter introduced me to LUSH over a year ago. I received the store tour which was very informative, but a lot to take in and remember. I took a copy of their LUSH news to help with that. I am in love with the products that I have tried like the bath bombs, shower gelee in Whoosh, Massage bars and hair conditioner. I love the different shapes and scents of their products. A little pricey for me to keep stocked up regularly but I do try to have something from them always in my bath routine. view more

Ocean Salt and Grease Lightning are fab!

I looooove LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics! My very favorite product is the Ocean Salt scrub. It's got salt and vodka in it, what's not to love?!?! All joking aside, I absolutely love how it feels when I am using it, and after. It worked wonders during my pregnancy when I used it every other day, and still does now using it a few times a week. It's got a wonderful scent and leaves my skin feeling oh so clean!
I also recommend Grease Lightning, tea tree spot cleanser. It deals well with my combination skin without drying my skin out or leaving that tight feeling on my face. I usually use it all over my face on the days I don't use the Ocean Salt scrub.
Overall I am HIGHLY satisfied with the LUSH brand. Some items are a bit pricey, but in my honest opinion, totally worth the price!! view more

Quite pricey !

In my opinion, I love Lush and their products, however it is quite expensive.
My favorite is the bath bombs, a perfect indulgence after a stressful week, for the price of the large varieties of bath goodies! The stores are a bit overwhelming with the millions of natural scents but I feel like a kid in a candy store every time I go there! view more

A bit much for lush

To start off, I have only used a few Lush products, however the ones I have used, I absolutely love. I love the massage bars and the facial scrub. So why the 3 stars? I find that I am overwhelmed by all the different scents when I go into the store, that it is hard to smell the scent of the product you are holding in your hand. I also find that it is a bit high in price, however I do love that you are able to bring the plastic containers back in and redeem them for free product. That is a fantastic idea for regular customers. I am eager to try more products from Lush and hopefully give them a higher rating. view more

Lush is Wonderful

I love Lush. I've only visited one location (Mall of America, in Macy's I believe) once, but all of the products I bought were wonderful. I would have tried more, but they are a little pricey; I understand that they use quality materials and treat their employees very well, so once I'm making more money, I will definitely be supporting them with large, frequent orders. I love it, but a little pricey for a col...

The vibe as you walk in the door is immediately effective. A store clerk will approach you right away asking if you have visited before, if the answer is no, the very knowledgeable staff will walk you through the variety of products, where the products are made, how to read the labels, and if you need assistance in picking out a gift, or buying something for yourself they are there every step of the way.
The products are good, and many of them are giftwrapped adorably, which makes a great gift for a female or male.
I love Lush, but unfortunately I can't take too many visits because its not a suitable budget for a college student. view more

UltraBland facial cleanser, great when I...

I picked up a small container of this while I was in Dublin a few summers ago, on recommendation of a friend. I have very sensitive skin, and it works wonderfully at leaving it feeling clean and moisturized. It is pricey (looking at the new US costs on their website) if you buy online, so maybe the fact I only use it when I remember I have it has been good for my budget - I am not the most cosmetically inclined girl, so the unscented and basic moisturizing qualities work well for me. view more

Unique, handmade products, so/so scents

Lush is, in a word, fabulous. With a wide variety of handmade, fresh cosmetics and bath products, there's something for pretty much everyone here. It's a bit pricey, naturally, but if you like a little something extra in your bathing experience, it's worth it.
There are quite a few different fragrances available at Lush, and in my experience, they're sort of hit or miss. Sometimes, you find something amazing, and sometimes, everything smells like Patchouli and star anise.
I'm especially fond of their shower jellies. It's exactly what it sounds like... a thick jelly that you can use in your hair and on your body. It does just fine in my hair, but I prefer to use it on my body with a bath poof. It leaves my skin soft and lightly scented, and more importantly, it's just plain fun! view more

It's the little things...

I love Lush! Current new fav is the solid perfume sticks. I was nearly devastated when the Flying Fox Solid Perfume/Temple Balm was discontinued, until I found the Lust Solid Perfume Stick! Love the tube with twist on lid, much safer in my purse! Also, I have been a long time fan of their Angels on Bare Skin face scrub...leaves skin well exfoliated and sooo soft. The one thing I am hoping for soon is a tube of lip balm. I really like their blends, but hate having the pot as my only option...as I have never been a fan of having to get lip balm all over my finger to apply! view more

Heaven for serious bathers!

Lush, how do I love thee, let me count the ways... My obsession started with a thank you gift of Lily Savon. I am now an addict. My favorite bath bombs are Rocket Girl, Dragons Egg, and Twilight. But they are all good. Solid soaps dont last very long, but they smell really yummy and make your skin feel good. I do avoid all products with cocoa butter in them, becasue they leave a serious and slippery mess in your tub!

My Guilty Pleasure

Lush, oh how I love thee.....I've been a lush lover for about 7 years now, maybe longer. I can smell a lush store from a mile away.
Some of my friends, HATE the smell of Lush, but to me, the smell of that store - no matter where it's located (I'm in in ones in Ontario, Alberta, England and so on), has a calming and zen smell.
I'm a sucker for the bath bombs, I leave the store with 5-10 at a time.....the Big Blue is by far the best! The second you drop it into the tub, you'll know what I mean.
Lush makes their products fresh and everything is clearly labled on the packages. They have products for everyone, and for every need.
The happy hippy shower gel is also a fave of mine - the smell of grapefruit in the morning just starts your day right.
If you love savings, see if you can get on the invite list for the parties.....they have great deals at and draws at those events.
Love life, and LUSH! view more

Hand made and fresh!!

I love shopping at Lush, the idea behing freshly handmade products is just great considering everything is usually made super fast and poor quality.. I like the scents of a lot of their products but surprisingly i'm not a fan of their bath stuff. Most stuff smells too strong. I love their shampoos in bar! they're awesome i just wish they had the matching conditionner. I also their body soap and cream. On the other hand some stuff is pretty pricey and doesnt last long. I got a foot scrub for like 5$ and it last maybe 2 or 3 times. That's an expensive scrub. I also tried their new toothpaste. It looks like pills. The reason i bought them is that's it Fluoride free...the taste though is not good at all. Overall though i have a highly positive view of this company view more

Lush is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G

I cannot rave about Lush enough. I absolutely love the majority of their products. My only gripe is that a lot of their stuff is quite expensive. My absolute favourite are the bath bombs. I buy several of them every few months and cannot wait to use them in my bath. Another all-time favourite of mine is the Snow Fairy shower gel. It is a beautiful pink colour and smells like cotton candy. It only comes out around christmas time and I usually snatch up enough to last me a whole year. As stated previously, Lush is expensive but you can definitely tell that the quality is there. If you're looking for a great quality treat - try lush! view more

Love the Lush!

I'm a bath product connoisseur and Lush is high on my list of favorites. I've visited the factory and I have to say that I was impressed with the love and care the employees put into making these products. I was also impressed with how many of the ingredients are natural. They do use some synthetic ingredients, but they seem to try to keep it to a minimum and use the natural ones whenever possible. I'm a huge fan of all things citrus and I think Lush does citrus scents like no other. They are a must try for anyone who enjoys pampering themselves! view more

Natural, safe, clean cosmetics!

I could write for days and days about LUSH, and in fact, I have recently written a LOT of reviews of their products on my blog. I simply love it. Some products aren't for me, that's ok, but I love the scents, I love what they stand for, I love how they make the products and their customer service is the best I've ever seen. I dabbled a bit in LUSH products a year or two ago, but recently I got fed up with my eczema-like rash on my hand and I walked in out of curiosity to see if they had something for it. Dream Cream. I was healed in 2 days. Now I get everything for my skin from LUSH. My skin loves it, my skin thrives on it and as an added bonus, the scents are so natural that the store doesn't give me a headache like other bath/body or antiquey wicker stores. Hurray for LUSH. :) view more

Love the Lush!

I too am a Lushaholic. The girls at my local store know me by name, the details of my wedding, the puppy we got....just about everything I'd tell my hairdresser. They helped me keep my sanity during planning a wedding 1000 miles or so away (in Philly- I live in Dallas). I love love love their lip scrubs! I got all my maids one :) their shampoo is well worth the super high price tag- mine have lasted months and months. Defiantly something to keep my hubs paws off of tho! Their face masks are amazing as are their body scrubs, bath bombs, feet lotions and scrubs. I used to work in an airport so I was addicted to their lotion bars since I could get thru security easily with them. I love all things LUSH! view more

Ring of Roses soap

had actually purchased this soap several years ago (I believe it was part of my first trip to Lush ever!). They used to categorize this under ?buttercreams? but now it seems to be under just ?soap?. But its not at all like what I remembered. The sample I received of it was very bright pink as opposed to the original color of baby pink, and it does not lather very well?its very difficult to get any lather at all. Worst of all, though, is that the rose smell is barely noticeable?even when putting my nose right up to it. I?m a big rose fan, so not being able to actually smell the rose was pretty upsetting. It seems like they definitely changed their formula from what it was originally view more

Love Lush!

Lush, I love that you're handmade. I love that your products all smell so delicious.I love how my skin feels after using your product. I love that you don't use too much packaging to help the environment. I don't love the prices :( I wish some things were a bit cheaper, I mean, I guess hand made is hard to get but it shouldn't be too much. For a small bottle of body wash it was $8.95, I think that's a bit ridiculous. The bath bombs are all $4-6. I think both things could be sold for at least half that price. I was dying to try a massage bar but I had no money left after purchasing the small body wash, 1 bath bomb and 4 sample-size pieces of soap. Total bill $30 view more

Great Bath Products & Customer Service

Their products are made with healthy, natural ingredients. I've tried several soaps but my favorite is their most popular, Honey I Washed The Kids. It's gentle enough on skin that it doesn't dry it out and works well on my kids' eczema prone skin. It smells great, too. They have a wide selection of bath bombs that are a fun way to enjoy a relaxing soak in the tub.
Their products are pricey but are worth it. I feel like I'm treating myself to a spa experience every time I use them in the bath or shower.
I'm impressed with their online customer service. The few times that I had to contact them re: orders was resolved quickly and in my favor. The representatives always seem so friendly! view more

H'Suan Wen Hua (hair treament mask)

I've recently started using this hair mask again. I hadn't purchased it in awhile because of the price, but I've found that my hair needed a little extra TLC because it was feeling very dry and damaged. You use this mask by applying it to dry hair and then shampooing it out. The amount you use depends on the length and thickness of your hair. My hair is rather thin but very long...even so I've noticed that I don't need as much as the directions require (definitely not half the pot!). I'm only halfway through the pot right now and I've use it 3 times. The smell, to me, is exactly like cinnamon. Its one of those smells that you will either love or hate. Many seem to think it smells like salad dressing, but I don't get that at all. The smell will also stay on your hair for a couple days afterward. My hair feels like silk after I use this, so even if you don't like the smell, give the product a chance! This is not something I would buy regularly (due to the price) but anytime I feel like my hair needs some extra help and pampering, I will be picking this up. :) view more

This lip scrub is a nice treat when my lips get really chapped. It works well to remove the flaky skin from my lips and leaves them nice and smooth. I'm not too big on bubblegum flavors in general, but I got this one because I loved the pink color!
