Lane Bryant Lane Bryant used to be my go to store, but I've found that their prices are higher than I want to pay for clothes. I usually can get my bras at a decent price there though.......they are worth the extra $$. Lane Bryant Years back, LB was my favorite place to shop. I didn't mind spending a little extra, after all most places charge you extra for being not so small nowadays. Plus, if you catch them on sale and w/ coupons, it's not too bad. They had the best pair of jeans I could find. Then they stop selling them. I was in the middle of losing weight when this happened. They were the only style that fit me right no matter what size. I ended up going on ebay and buying them b/c no other place has good jeans that fit right. Now they bring them back and they don't fit me like they did before. :\ Their tops don't fit like they use too either. Best place to get bras I have a bigger chest and it took me years to find a company to buy bras from that actually fit. Most of the other companies make bigger bras, but for implants, not real. Lane Bryant bras I am not a fuller-sized woman, but I do however have a full chest. I find it difficult to find bras that provide great support, while still looking sexy. Lane Bryant has done a fantastic job of creating bras for all shapes and sizes, that are comfortable all day long, and they look good on! These also stand the test of time. Plus Sized Disappointment Lane Bryant used to be a great resource for plus size shoppers, but now they've really lost sight of their customers. We're not all looking for shapeless tunics and tent dresses. Some of us would like to show off our shapes with WELL FITTED clothing. The prices for these ill-fitting clothes is ridiculously high now too. Was my favorite store Lane Bryant use to be my favorite store to shop at...I could always find something great there. Now I find that the tops are cut funny...the sizes that I use to buy are now huge in the chest area and too tight around my waist... Suprised by the high ratings I wonder if the reason people actually give Lane Bryant the high rating isn't due to the fact finding ANY plus sized clothing is a challenge. I find a lot of their clothing to be cut odd in the sleeves, (just above the elbows like a mans) and have weird patterns that remind me of grandmas couch. It used to be my go to store, but I just can't love the stles and the cuts. I want clothes to hang on me right, to hide the fat arms and not cling to my belly. Cute but getting pricier I love LB. They have cute clothes that are flattering. I have been shopping there for years. The prices are creeping up, though. Used to be that jeans on sale were $25. Sometimes I find stuff, but most of the ... Sometimes Lane Bryant surprises me and has a wonderful selection of beautiful classic clothes, however recently I've found clothing that looks horrible. I am plus size and I know that certain cuts, fabrics and prints do not look flattering on my body. I would think that a plus size clothing retailer would also know this information. Great bras and underwear The first time I walked into a Lane Bryant store, I was excited. I'm a borderline plus sized girl and have a difficult time finding clothes that fit. XL in regular women's section is too small, so I was excited to find a store that catered to me. Their Right Fit pants are the best, and I love their bras and underwear. Lane Bryant Lane Bryant is still the standard when it comes to plus size fashion. I have been plus sized all of my life and I still remember the day I found Lane Bryant for the very first time. I was in junior high and I almost cried. I was going to start high school and I was finally able to buy clothes that were in style and didn't look like my mom made them for me. Big is Beautiful! Being plus sized growing up there wasn't much to offer. But as a teenager I found Lane Bryant, they had up to date clothing so I could fit in at school and still "fit in" my clothes properly. They are tasteful, and have great sales. Looking at their clothes right off the rack they look pricey, but they have sales all the time and you can get coupons as well, which makes for huge saving! You just have to know HOW to shop. Lane Bryant A lot of people say Lane Bryant is overpriced, these people don't know how to use the sales correctly. Next time you shop at Lane Bryant make sure you give them your address. I get coupons almost every month. The trick is to use them with a friend during sales. My sister and I always go in together during the buy-two-get-two bra sales and the 5-for-$25 panties sales. Going downhill I used to love shopping at Lane Bryant, 20 years ago when they were the only place you could reliably find plus size clothing. However, since they teamed up with Fashion Bug, it seems like the quality of the clothing has really tanked. The prices have not though. So now they're overpriced and poor quality. You can do a lot better shopping online- Simply Be, Alight, One Stop Plus, Roamans, etc., or the clearance racks at Torrid, Fashion Bug, Catos, Ashley Stewart... there are so many more options out there. Lane Bryant Lane Bryant is a plus size clothing store. I can't wear most of the clothes (the tops are too big for me), but I still enjoy going. They carry underthings, lingerie, shapewear, shoes, dressy and casual clothes, and jewelry. I love Lane Bryant I love Lane Bryant. Im a plus size girl, so its hard to find clothes that fit. Lane Bryant offers different cuts and fits to their clothes instead of adopting the "one shape fits most" approach other plus size companies take. Also, my cup size cant be found at stores like Walmart or Victoria's Secret. You can find just about anything in there. A favorite I have been wearing Lane Bryant clothes for years. The quality is still great. There are times some of the things don't fit quite right but I have never had a problem returning items that weren't up to the quality I expect. There is such a wide variety of clothing and it's nice that they have things that I can wear that are stylish even though I'm larger than a size 12. Best line of clothing for larger women As far as the clothing style for women, I think Lane Bryant is the best. One of the negatives, it the prices and another is the selection may vary from store to store. I find if you have an outlet near you, you get the best prices and some unique styles that never entered the store. In some things, you need to watch out for HUGE price mark ups. Hit or Miss I find that Lane Bryant clothing is extremely hit or miss. I love their jeans, but they always wear out after a few months. For the price, the jeans should be able to last longer than that! I must spend $500 a year on jeans alone. Their clothing is more stylish than some of the other plus size brands, but I'm not so sure its worth it. My store choice for Bras and undergarmen... Best. Bras. Ever. I love the fit, the selection, and the sales pricing. I have a large chest, and finding cute get ups in my size is impossible at a lot of the retail shops and specialty shops are ridiculously expensive. I can't say much for the clothes, as I usually shop elsewhere for jeans and tops, but I do like that for some of my 'thicker' friends they seem to have great fitting jeans that they say are quite comfortable. No longer top of my list I have been so disappointed in Lane Bryant's clothes lately. For the past 3-5 years, it seems to me that the quality of the clothes are really going down hill. I have purchased shirts that shrink an entire size when washed and dried according to the directions on the label. Pants that stretch out so badly the day you first wear them that they no longer fit. Underwires in bras break within a month of purchase. And pant hems that unravel after only being worn a few times. I should NOT have to repair or replace my clothes every month because of shoddy workmanship. I know that the "in" thing to do right now is send products overseas to be reproduced, but just because you are trying to get your clothes made "on-the-cheap" doesn't mean you have to skimp on quality.
