Can not live without kitchen appliance

We received our first Keurig a few years ago as a housewarming gift. I was really resistant because of the cost of the Kcups but I quickly became a convert. We order our Kcups online and while they are a lot more expensive then regular coffee we are no longer throwing a half a pot away everyday. We have one for our kitchen and my husband had one for work. The work one did not last long before breaking but Keurig customer service is excellent and they sent us a new one at no cost. This fall we are also using it for Cider which is excellent. I would highly recommend a Keurig to anyone! view more

Love Keurig!

I just purchased my Keurig coffee maker because I used one at a conference I went to. I love it! Because I am the only coffee drinker in our house and I do only drink 1 cup a day, it really cuts down on the waste. my kids love the apple cider and also it is nice to just get hot water fast for things like tea and oatmeal. view more

Great for traveling in an RV.

This is a great addition for my fifth wheel camper. We travel a lot for my husbands job and spend a lot of that time in our fifth wheel. Space is very limited, especially counter space. The keurig has helped with that. No more running to get an expensive cup of coffee every morning. I just pop in a k-cup and i can have my iced coffee then in a flash my husband has his hot vanilla coffee. At night it's just as easy to make a nice hot cup of herbal tea or even a glass of iced tea in the afternoon. Yes the K-cups can be expensive but there are coupons everywhere for them and they are cheaper then a cup of coffee from Starbucks! view more

Awesome but is it worth the cost?

I love keurig! I can't drink normal coffee anymore! I have mine at work and can't wait to get there in the morning to make my coffee. I am a teacher and i let my students earn k cups as a prize (not coffee ones of course). I love all the choice and the quality. But the cost is getting to me. I wish the K cups were more affordable. I also dont live in a big city and have to drive about an hour to get to a store that sells more than five varities. view more

Krazy about my Keurig!

I just can't say enough good things about my Keurig. I have the Mini Plus instead of the full sized one. I actually prefer having the reservoir that you have to fill for each individual cup...that way, I can choose exactly how weak or how strong my coffee is. And the K-Cups....ohhh the K-Cups! Yummy happiness in a tiny cup. And fast, too! Another advantage? Not having to make a full pot of coffee for just one person. I'm the only person in the house who drinks coffee. Even when I don't have any K-Cups, I use the My K-Cup filter to make a cup of my regular blend. Overall, excellent product. I highly recommend a Keurig for anyone who loves coffee. With all of the many K-Cup choices, you WILL find one you like. Two thumbs up! view more

Great New Mom Gift

We bought a Keurig when my son was 2 months old and I wish we would have had it sooner. We were making a pot of coffee daily but it was so difficult with a newborn and trying to get it all right (especially if only one of us was home/available). The Keurig makes it easy to get a cup of coffee in any size with only one hand. I love that I can choose my cup and my hubby can choose his so we always can enjoy the coffee we like. view more

Best Gift Ever!

I received a Keurig for my last birthday and can't imagine how I've ever lived without one of them! I have never been much of a coffee drinker so I wasn't sure how much use I would get out of the machine. Love my Keurig

My husband doesn't drink coffee, and i like to limit myself to one cup of coffee a day, so i love my Keurig! When i purchased my machine, there wasn't one with a timer available yet (it was released a couple months after i purchased mine), so it takes a minute or so to warm up prior to making my cup of coffee. I love all the flavors available in k-cups, and love that i have an accessory called a "my K-Cup" which allows me to use any coffee ground i would like! (this often ends up being cheaper, and i can still use my favorite coffee if i have company over, and actually make a full pot in my other coffee maker! view more

It was LOVE at first Cup

We love our Keurig! My husband and I don't enjoy the same coffee flavors of strengths, so the Keurig allows us to both have our coffee just the way we like it. It's saved us from having early morning fights on several occasions! The hot and iced teas are incredible, and the specialty brews like hot chocolate and apple cider are delicious as well! I love my Keurig coffee maker!

My husband bought me the Keurig single cup coffee maker almost two years ago and I love it! The best feature is that it makes one cup at a time, since I only drink one cup a day. I also like that there are so many flavor varieties available in the k-cups and also the My k-cup that allows you to use any coffee. The only complaint I have is that I have a sticky valve on mine that gives my trouble every now and then. It isn't enough of a bother to call customer service or buy a new one, just something I deal with. view more

Love My Keurig Machine!

After reviewing the various models in the market, I went with the Keurig and was glad I did... Not only are there a ton of K-Cups to choose from and explore, but the simple fact that it is the only system that allows you to use your own teas and coffees via the My K-Cup accessory is what makes this the best value overall. I don't HAVE to buy K-Cups if I don't want to. The Tassimo and others like it I believe you do still. THe model we have also allows me to have it turn on and off automatically so I can grab a brew right away before I head out the door and don't have to wait for water to boil or that I shut it off before I left. Best purchase I ever made!!!

Listened to a couple of friends rave about this for years, but I could never justify the cost of the k-cups. Finally decided to try it and I'm glad I did! I'm a stay at home mom and wake up at different times each day...pre-keurig my hubby would set the coffee pot up at night and I would start it in the morning. Doesn't seem like a bad way to do it but I have to say not having to do that is so much nicer!!! I wake up, put whatever type of coffee I'm in the mode for in and instant perfect of coffee every time! The best part is that we're not making a full pot every day and I can have as little or as many cups of coffee as I want each day. This comes in super handy the mornings that I have to run out for an hour but still feel like another cup of coffee when I get home. Actually, my hubby and I were just talking tonight about how much easier it is and I never have to worry about if the coffee is going to be too strong or too weak...it's perfect EVERY time. Great for when you have company and only one or two people actually want coffee after dinner. I now see why my friend always sold it so hard every time I saw her!!! view more

Great but it breaks

I love my Keurig! The only problem is that they break. Everyone that I know who has one or had one has dealt with the same problem. If it's still under warranty they will replace it if you call, but in my experience they work great for the first year then the water stops filtering through the machine and you can't brew a cup. It just sits there and makes the sound like the water is trying to run through the machine but nothing happens and it finally shuts off. When it works it's AWESOME!! My whole family loves it for the cocoa and cider. view more

Easy and fast!

I love the Keurig. We have one at home and use it everyday for coffee or water for tea and it is so fast and easy to use. We purchased one for work because of its portability and ease of use since we take it to meetings. People are always happy to see it at meetings. I like that you can always have a variety and nothing goes to waste. Not sure how I got along without it. view more

Good cup o coffee!

I just got a Keurig as a gift. At first, I was a little hesitant because I hate wasting money on gimmicky products. I have to admit, it's growing on me, though. Yes, it's pricey, and keeping a stock of refills is a tad inconvenient (not sold everywhere) and expensive. But, so far, liking the fresh taste and ease of coffee-making. view more

Pleasantly Surprised- Practical and Vers...
Before I actually tried the Keurig Elite, part of me was worried that it would join my cappucino maker, breadmaker, food processor, etc. as just another kitchen "gadget" taking up valuable counter space... but I was pleasantly surprised! Setup was very easy- just a few steps to prep it for first-time usage (consisting of running filling it and running the water through once before using), and then I was good to go. It was fun choosing my drink from the variety pack that was included with the brewer (although when I looked for refills the next time I went shopping, some of the brands/varieties don't seem to be available at my local stores). In addition to a wide variety of coffees- bold, mild, decaf, flavored... there are also teas, hot chocolate, and cider available. I chose a decaf, bold coffee to try first, as it was evening. I simply put the coffee package in the brewer, selected my cup size, and waited for it to brew- it seemed like it was almost instant! I approached my steaming cup of coffee with some apprehension, however- would it taste like instant coffee? Would it be strong enough? Would it be too strong? One sip and my fears were allayed, however- the coffee was delicious! Compared to the premium, whole bean coffee I brew in my traditional coffee maker, the Keurig coffee was equally as good. I've gone on to try a number of other coffees for the Keurig, as well as using it to make hot water for oatmeal etc., and all have been excellent. I will continue to use and enjoy my Keurig- whether you're running late and want a quick cup of coffee to go; or it's evening and you'd like to enjoy a cup of tea but don't want to go to the trouble of putting a kettle on, the Keurig Elite is a great device! view more

My K-Cup means I can finally drink the c...
I had mentioned in a previous review that one of the downsides (not many I might say) of the Keurig Elite Single Serve Brewer is that there is a limited choice of coffee (yes, I know there are many different brands, but I am very picky) That's why I was super excited when my brother in-law told me that he uses a reusable k-cup at work. My ears immediately perked up. He told me that the people at his office had gotten him to get one since they all had one and used it all the time. When I asked him where to get it, he informed me that a person at work had got it for him. So, putting my google skills to works, I found that I could actually get one from www.keurig.com for 17.95$. I then found it on Amazon and Future Shop for 14.99$. Canadian Tire and Sears were selling it for 19.99$. I ended up getting it from Amazon of course. Keurig should check their competition, haha. I finally tried the My K-Cup and I have to say it leaked a bit at the beginning but then I got it to work and it was alright. It defeats the purpose of going quickly in the morning though. If I have to go through all that, I would rather go back to my espresso machine, which I think makes better coffee anyways. view more
