My favorite author James Patterson books are the best. They move so fast and seem to suck you in from the minute you pick them up! I have found myself reading a book from front to back without putting it down. I can't wait for his next book to come out. My Favorite Author I have read everyone of his books. I just love the Alex Cross and Women's Murder Club series. I am now getting hooked on the Burnett series too. I love that he can write such suspense thrillers and then put out a rip your heart out book like "Sam's Letters to Jennifer" or "Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas". Author for all ages I like so many other people, stumbled onto James Patterson by chance. I was at the public library trying to find a good series to get into, when I found the Womens Murder Club series. I immediately fell in love with the characters, and cried like a baby in the first book. Within a week or two I had caught up in the series and couldn't wait to read the next. I've wanted to read the Alex Cross novels, but just haven't known which to start with. After talking to a relative about books, she suggested that I try reading the Maximum Ride series that was written for a teen audience. The concept was very interesting, so I tried them out. I have to say though with this series, the longer I read them, the less interested in them I have been. But they have just been good enough to keep me hanging on to finish. I don't know though that I would really recommend this series to someone like I would the Womens Murder club series. Favorite Author I love James Patterson books. The chapters are short but you get hooked within the first few chapters. I don't think there is one of his books that I do not like. Crossfire I just finished James Patterson's book Crossfire.I could not put the book down. I read it on a Sunday afternoon. It continues the story of Dr. Cross. James Patterson A friend first loaned me an Alex Cross book years ago. I read that book cover to cover in a day and found myself going to the library the next day to get the next book in the series. I have read every single one of the Alex Cross books almost immediately after they come out. Sometimes it will take me two days to read a book but most of the time it's just one. Will he be back on top? James Patterson seems to concern himself far more with the quantity of books he writes, the quality of his writing has disintegrated, I have reread some of his earlier books and they are far more detailed and I don't get the "hurry up and read so I can turn out another book" that he seems to show in his current books. Fast reads... I've read a lot of James Patterson's book and while I still enjoy most of them, I think the quality has gone downhill since he churns out a new book at least once a month. I know some of them are "co-authored" and not really written by him, but I still think the ones he writes on his own are the best. I love the Alex Cross and Women's Murder Club series. Women's Murder Club Books I love the character development and fast-paced story lines of this series. As you read these books, you feel so entwined in the lives of Lindsay and her gang. Patterson - Alex Cross Series I started reading this series about a year ago, and I'm hooked. Anytime I need a book to read, I can pick up the next in the series, and know that the action will start from the very beginning. Sure he sells a lot of books.... James Patterson is no longer an author...he's a brand. Somewhere along that transformation he lost his soul and started counting on co-writers for a majority of his books.
