I just purchased a Honda CR-V and fall in love with it every day!! It is very sharp looking, but a smooth ride. It is very comfortable to drive and has a great safety rating as well. THE BEST SUV EVER!

The 2011 Honda CR-V is my first brand new car I ever bought and I don't think I'll ever buy another non-honda car again! honda is known for saftey features and user friendlyness. It is comfortable, roomy, and decent on gas. It is the perfect car for my young family. I'm hoping this will become my daughters car when she turns 16. Shes now 4! view more

Beware 2004-2006 Owners!

I had a 2004 CR-V. At the end of the summer in 2010, I used my ac on one of the last days of heat and it just stopped working. My mechanic called me to show me the hole that blew out the side of the compressor...he had heard about them but never seen it happen...thank God for him, he fixed it as reasonably as he could for $1300...because of the Honda design, all of the tubing underneath had to be replaced. He told me this was a known problem and sure enough, I looked it up online and found pages of it but the Honda Corporation will do nothing. It was maddening and of course, I had well over 100,000 miles on mine as I drive all over for work. Folks were paying as much as $3000 or more to repair this at the dealership. I will say though that other than that, I really loved that car. The gas mileage was great and it was roomy. I also like to go biking and it was very easy to transport just about anything in that truck. I would still be driving her but I was involved in an accident just about six months after the ac replacement and the car was totaled....I still miss her! view more

CRV

I used to owned a 04 crv before my husband and I sold it to my in-laws. We had to get a van. It runs smoothly and really good during the winter. My mother in law actually prefer to drive the crv during the winter (back when we first got it, she used it to drive to work..that was before we move out). view more

I miss my CR-V

I had the most reliable SUV ever! I had a '98 CR-V - it was the best SUV ever. I lived in MN at the time and it handled the snow, no problem. Moved to OK, the A/C rocked those 100+ summers. I drove that manual 5- speed for almost 10- years. I was so sad when we had to get a mini-van - when I can get a smaller SUV, I'll get a CR-V again. Not to mention I miss the gas mileage! view more

Another Great Honda!

I have been driving my new 2011 CR-V for about two weeks now. I love it! Coming off of a Honda Civic (that I also loved and was so reliable) the gas mileage hurts. But it's fun to drive and has more room for my daughter in the back. view more

Air Conditioning Trouble

I like my 2004 Honda CRV, EXCEPT: I only have 42K miles on it. The A/C suddenly started grinding and stopped. 42,000 miles is way too early for A/C to stop. I took it to my dealer and, although they are aware (at first they tried to act like they weren't aware of the problems) that early A/C blowup, called the Black Death, has been happening to many, many people. Edmunds is one of the many sites with pages upon pages of entries and complaints about this problem, as they had a flawed design in models from around 2004 - 2006. I have stopped others when I saw them in parking lots and found they, too had issues, often paying exhorbitant amounts for repair. The dealership, who we have used many times for purchases and maintenance, checked with their district manager who only would concede to 20% off. My cost would still be around $1500! It was also mentioned quietly that this has happened to others with the same DM decision. Needless to say, this puppy won't roll over. Also, once this happens, you should NOT turn on the air or it could also ruin your engine as shavings are already through your entire A/C system (which is why the repair is so costly; some have been quoted $3-4K, depending on how much dealers want to get.). If you run the air with this grinding, not only will it not work, but those shavings can get into your engine. This is truly a design flaw, and there are TSBs on it, but Honda dealers seem to try to profit on it. Even 100K miles is too early for an entire A/C system to go out, but at 42K? Crazy. I live in the hot desert so there is no way that it is safe or recommended to drive with no A/C. Otherwise, I find the CRV better made and better value than any CRV available in its class. Honda needs to avoid a Toyota situation and take care of their customers. view more

I absolutely love my Honda Cr-v. It is the best vehicle I have every purchased. My honda cr-v is definately a escape from having to buy a caravan for a family with kids. It is spacious and very safe. It is kid friendly with all the seat belt safety latch for care seats, child door lock adjust ments. Its the best. view more

Love My CRV

I absolutely love my CRV. There is plenty of interior room but it's not so big that it's difficult to park. The dogs can easily get in and out and there's plenty of room in the back for luggage or other items when necessary. It provides a smooth ride for a reasonable price. view more

What a great car!

I love my Honda CR-V. It is so easy to drive, drives well in all weather conditions, and is fun. I never have problems with it. After a year, it still has that new car smell! The upholstery still looks great too! The sunroof/moonroof is wonderful - I use it all the time. The drawbacks. I wish it came with a port to plug in my i-pod. I have to buy an adapter cord, and I still haven't gone to get one. And the side windows in the rear area aren't big enough. There is a blind spot there because of the small size of those windows. view more

Car Seat installation is a breeze!

I bought this car before I had kids, but it's been SO easy installing our various types of car seats (graco snugride, britax boulevard) - LATCH is super-easy, the seats work great, and the back seat is spacious enough that there is still room for others to sit even with our mammoth Britax in the back! view more

Love My 2008 Honda CR-V

We bought ours new two years ago and we still love it! It handles really well looks great and is nothing but quality. I love that it is so easy to get in and out of its just great. We have heated leather seats and they are wonderful in the cold weather. We have not had any problems at all it is just the perfect vehicle in our opinion. view more

Brand new 2010 Grey CRV

I love this vehicle. I have had my polished metal metallic 2010 CR-V EX-L for 2 months now and this car is incredible. The only 2 peeves I have are the stereo system and the mileage. But all in all this car has been a dream. It runs so smooth and quiet which is great becasue I spend a lot of time on the highway. And it fits everything so nicely. Love this car. view more
