Glee > True To Hype

If you've seen the ads for the new TV series "Glee", you may have thought, as I did: too good to be true. But, I checked it out anyway and was enthralled! With the popularity of "American Idol", "Dancing With The Stars" and "So You Think You Can Dance", it's no surprise that the idea for this show popped into someone's head. What is a surprise is how well that idea has been interpreted. As someone who saw the original movie "Fame" (newer version coming to theaters any day now), I'm excited each week to see how the members of the Glee Club move closer to their competition date. The stories behind the lives of the teachers and counselor are woven through those of the students, with funny and heartwarming results. If there's a "perfect" TV show that I love, it's sure to be canceled, so watch it while you can! Even if it only lasts a season, that will be an hour a week well spent.
