Who doesn't love GLEE I was skeptical at first to watch the first season, but when I actually made the effort to watch it, I laughed out loud. Favorite Movie So who watched this weeks Glee. The new Leprechaun is so adorable.. If any of you have seen Grease 2 in the past. Did he not remind you of Maxwell Caulfields character? When hes lonely and singing in the cafeteria. Total spinoff it was almost like having deja Vu. Cant wait to see what there going to do with him. I'm a Gleek I have been a faithful fan of Glee since it first aried. I have the seasons on DVD and the CD's fromt he show as well. I love the show, it's funny, it's stupid, it's an escape from reality. And I found myself to relating to all of the characters at one point or another. Eh...Not Too Sure I know this show has a following and it is very popular, but it isn't that great to me. I watched the first season and got bored. I watched the last half of last season and got bored. The only reason I enjoyed watching it in the first place is because I enjoyed the show's take on the various songs used in each episode. For that, this show is truly brilliant! However, the "speaking parts" are too soap opera-ish for me. I just wanna beat the show's writer's to make them make the story go a little faster. The Modern Day "Breakfast Club" Glee is an american TV show that is, at the current time airing on Fox. The premise of this show is simple, a high school Spanish teacher in Lima, Ohio takes over the failing glee club, recruits a new group of students to join and teaches them that although they are from different walks of life, they are all the same in some way shape or form. I like to compare this TV show to the 80's cult classic "The Breakfast Club". Much like The Breakfast Club, every character represents either yourself or someone you knew in high school. Everyone is portrayed in this show, everyone from the Jocks, to the popular cheerleaders, to the gay kids, to the weird kids that lived in there own little world. Also much like The Breakfast Club, when the series first starts none of the characters feel like they are in no way alike, but as the show progresses and they begin to open up, and start to deal with the issues that most teenage youth experience they begin to realize that they are all exactly the same with the same pressures as everyone else. The Breakfast Club is such a well loved movie between adults and teens alike because everyone no matter who you are go through the same hard times and The Breakfast Club does an amazing job at showing that to its audience. Glee as well harks on this equality with a slightly different approach and great music. Speaking of music Glee has this amazing talent of taking a song that you already love and make it even better by showing it to you in a different way then you originally conceived it. All in all Glee is a great show for everyone, it gives you a inside look on the life of the average high school teenager in America in an extremely familiar way that you already love. view more	Oct 11, 2011	24
Excellent showcase of talents and teen a... Glee highlights real life teenage scenarios and how they are handle in high school environment. From friends, sex, teenage pregnancy, outcasts, jocks, etc. everything you deal with in high school is highlighted. To add to the chaos you have Jane Lynch who is extremely hilarious. Great idea! Glee is such a great and refreshing change of pace in the nightly TV line up. It is so much different then your ordiniary drama or comedy. I love singing along and following the characters, it is a great show for all ages and genders. Glee is spectacular! I recently decided to check out Glee on Netflix mostly because it takes place in the city I live, and everyone here talks about it! I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did. I have been watching at least one episode a day trying to catch up to the current season. Glee got me! When Glee first premiered I was disappointed because I thought it missed opportunities to be really funny. But after a lot of my friends kept raving about it, I decided to give it another chance and watch it again. And now I agree with my friends - I love it too. In any given episode I tend to laugh, cry, and sing along to a new rendition of a song I like or a song I never heard of until the show but now like. Lea Michelle's voice is AMAZING! I'm a Gleek! I went into this thinking I wasn't going to be able to get into the show. I am the kind of person that will give new tv shows a try before I form an opinion because you can't really base an opinion on something if you haven't tried it. I began watching this show and really like it. I found that the one thing that I really liked was that I found it easy to relate to the characters (whether it was the students or teachers). They seem to make the characters easy to relate to and have characteristics of real people. My favorite part of the show has to be the singing. It is absolutely amazing and that is definately what got me hooked and turned me into a "Gleek." I really look forward to listening to the new songs in all the shows. I think another great part of the show is that the characters are believable. I like to watch the interactions between characters in each episode. Glee First Season - Glee is probably one of the best series out there. It is so funny. The music they sing is so amazing. The singing voices of the cast is just WOW>.. What talent. The cast of characters is perfect. They fit so well together. My only "complaint" would be that they went from a more wholesome show to a show that has to have gays kissing. My first show since Reality TV I haven't watched a scripted television show since the introduction of reality tv! Once I received the 1st season DVD set, I started watching right away. Glee Season 1 I want to start by saying that before I was sent this DVD collection to review for free for being a #bzzagent I had never sat down and watched Glee before. I just didn't think that I would be into it. But after watching just the first episode I was hooked. I sat there and watched half of the season the first night. My husband even got into it, which was an even bigger surprise. The music, singing, and dancing is fun, and it keeps a good storyline between all the actors with just the right amount of drama, comedy, and everyday life issues. Glee Reviewed Some of the kids? troubles can?t be helped?among the choirmates, one guy?s in a wheelchair, one girl has a stutter and several are almost too airheaded to function (more likely due to bad writing than extenuating personal circumstance). The cherub-faced Kurt Hummel?played with admirable pathos and grace by Chris Colfer, who could?ve easily buckled under the weight of the show?s entire gayness quotient being heaped upon his delicate shoulders?has to grapple with his painfully flamboyant homosexuality at home and at school. But most of the characters? wounds are self-inflicted, the natural consequences of self-serving lies and deliberate manipulations of friends, family and co-workers. There are some exceptions, some challenges and conflicts parlayed into teaching moments with all the saccharine wisdom of an after-school special. From "No Thanks" to total Gleek in 1 esp... I'll admit it, I was wrong. I was stubbornly attempting to avoid being drawn into the whole Glee-dom of singing and dancing High School kids. But one boring Saturday afternoon, I was checking out Netflix and found the first two seasons of Glee were available for instant viewing. I thought, what the heck and clicked on Season 1 Episode 1. Needless to say, 8 hours and 9 episodes later, I was completely immersed in the characters, the story line and the amazingly talented cast members. I have since completed watching both episodes and look forward to watching season 3 when it becomes available. My husband will not give it a chance, he walked through the room a few times while I was watching and said, spitefully, "What? do they just dance around and sing all the time:?" I was struggling to come up with a good analogy of what this show was like and the only one I could come up with was that it's like that one episode of Scrubs, where it was a musical that was made into a story. Glee Season 1 is a smash hit! I was initially skeptical of Glee because I don't always like musicals; however, Glee season 1 is highly addictive. I have to admit that I wasn't fully taken after just 1 episode, but I was by the second. Rachel Berry is one of the best characters on television. Despite the fact that I love all the characters on this show, Rachel Berry really carries it for the first 6 episodes. Although she is trying to 'steal' Finn from Quinn, and she is willing to do about anything for the spotlight, she is a character that you just can't help but want to like. I think the same goes for Quinn. Although Rachel's character gets you hooked, Quinn keeps you coming back for more. Another character that, when looking at her superficially, is easy to dislike but you can't help but feel sorry for the girl. The show is very witty and funny (Brittany is HILARIOUS), but also develops some more dramatic story lines a few episodes in. Not to mention the fantastic musical performances. I'm not a music expert or anything, but I am someone who listens to music, and for me the songs in the first half of the season weren't amazing to me. They really picked it up the second half, coming out with some huge smash hits. Their singing, combined with the back stories to the songs on the show and their choreography made it so much more fun to listen to the Glee versions of the songs. Lea Michele has a truly astonishing voice and her castmates not only back her up, but have pipes of their own. Kevin McHale is awesome as Artie and I love his raps! Matt Morrison and Jane Lynch have awesome chemistry as Schue and Sue, and I love listening to their ridiculous chirps back and forth. I really think this show has something for everyone: comedy, drama, music, and more. And it is really a great way to hear some new twists on both old and new songs. Glee First Season - Pilot Episode Just watched the pilot episode of Glee Season 1 and I am loving it already. You can really tell how they are shaping the characters. The whole anti-bullying scenes are great because a lot of kids in high school would really relate to it. I watched Season 2 on TV and so now I'm learning all about the character backgrounds.
