gather.com: A Gathering Place - Mostly enjoyable site I like the site for the most part. I love the opportunity to earn gift cards and make friends. My main complaints are how long it takes to earn points, and also having no idea the rate at which points are earned. I like reading posts about the many different topics. view more

Gather was unexpectedly different than a lot of other social sites. You can earn a few points here and there for quality posts; but you also get to meet a lot of nice people. There isn't any of the game intrusion of other sites. It's a great place to hook up with online friends that you've made on other sites....or with friends and family. view more
