This is Great for Unique items!! I absolutely love this website. I have found several really unique items to give as gifts. My husband is a huge Star Wars fan and I got him a photograph of star wars characters that he has never seen before. He loved his gift. In return he bought me a Mothers Day necklace from the site with my childrens names on it. The necklace was beautiful and I loved it. I love browsing the site. Great place but if you have lots of item... I have been an etsy seller for years. I have close to 1500 products but even with etsy's 20c listings I couldn't afford more then 200 items on my site. I was dishing out $30-35/month in just fee's alone. Then I found Artfire. I became a pro member and I only pay $10/month with no other fee's and the best part is I can have 100% of my items on my site. I have only been on the site since jan and I have already sold 77 items. So I believe I am getting more exposure at Artfire. :) etsy is a great place to shop, but if your a seller this is a better place then to try and sell on ebay but there are cheaper sites like Artfire :) view more	May 14, 2011	35

I love to find original products that are fairly priced and help keep a small business running. Unique Products Easy to Find If I were to be addicted to any website, it wouldn't be facebook or youtube, but etsy. Even if I am not buying anything, I love looking up items in the areas of my interest. Etsy is full of handmade crafts with all sorts of different styles and objects. Not only are the products wonderful, but the organization of the site is fantastic. When searching for an item, you can see the results in order of price, relevancy, or recently added. It is also easy to see the people selling you the item/s. If you are interested in more of their products, you can easily check out their shop on etsy on the very page the original item you found was on. After making your purchase, Etsy makes it easy for you to not only follow your item of purchase, but keep in contact with the people you bought it from. Mostly cute, but be careful While there are many talented craft/art makers on etsy.com, it is much easier to find laughable products than something you would actually buy. Anything decently cute is horrendoesly over-priced, and the only affordable things are either obviously cheap, ugly, or straight up weird. The best place to buy the neatest things When you think of handmade things, items that your younger siblings or your children (if you are older) may come to mind. But when it comes to Etsy, nothing could be farther from that! When you shop on Etsy, you will find the most unique and high quality clothes and gifts that you can imagine. The clothing is so very beautiful and unique, and of fine quality. Etsy - Good for Craftsters but Beware I've been selling on Etsy for 2 years now and while its the best place to sell handmade wares because people come there to buy handmade and the fees are cheaper than Ebay - you have to watch out for idea thieves. Esty is the best! I love esty so much. I use it every christmas to buy gifts for almost all my family members. Lately, I have even been using it to search for a unique wedding dressing for my upcoming wedding. There are so many amazingly talented people sharing their wonderful creations on the site. Love for Etsy! I love etsy. I do not have a store there, but I have a friend who makes a living sewing unique items and selling them on etsy. I love browsing the site, though I rarely buy things, as the items that I like are out of my price range. However, I think that the occasional high price is understandable-another human being spent hours of their time creating something beautiful and should get compensated for their time and work. More Etsy Love Let me add my voice to the countless number of other people who have already loved this site. The wide variety of vendors on it mean you probably won't love everything, you'd be hard-pressed not to find something on there that you want. The one downside might be that they're are too many vendors on it, making it sometimes hard to find that perfect item. But once you find it, you'll likely find that the buying process is quick and smooth. Etsy.com does send out a weekly newsletter that highlights some of the best vendors. Etsy Rocks I recently created my own store at Etsy and started selling soaps and flip flops. I think it's wonderful. I can offer chemical free products to a market who can appreciate the value of that. They have a wonderful support system. If your new to selling on Etsy they offer chats several times a week to help you. You can ask questions and get advice. It really cuts down on the learning curve frustration. Great for personal care products too! I shop Etsy for my personal beauty products as well as other craft and gift items. One of my favorite sellers, DressGreen, sells a facial lotion that is free of petroleum, artificial colors and fragrances and parabens. I have a hard time finding commercial products that meet my standards for being chemical free, but I find that many Etsian sellers make beauty products with this in mind. You can also find makeup, soap, shampoo, and even laundry detergent on Etsy! Etsy is also, of course, the best place to find cute gifts for anyone!
