Clear-a-Sonic I have had this brush for four months or so. I am just going to jump right in, since there is so much to cover. First off, the pores on my nose have dramatically decreased with the amount of blackheads. Which is something I have always struggled with. Secondly, the cleanse you can get with this is unbelievable. You won't be able to go back to your hands or washcloth. Lastly and most importantly, my acne has dramatically decreased. Of course, I always get the "once a month" blemishes, but I am actually awe-strucked by the amazement. The only con is the price, but if you can afford it-I would HIGHLY recommend it. Great for Keeping Skin Clear My son uses the Clarisonic every day. He completed a 7 month course of acne medication and his skin is almost completely clear. The doctor told him he may have some breakouts here and there. He started using this system at the first sign of pimples and his skin is now completely clear. Can't live with this! I LOVE LOVE LOVE my clarisonic. I received it as a Christmas gift from my husband after he read a review in the paper. It is gentle yet it leaves my skin so soft. I don't feel like I have grime or rough skin afterwards. It also helps my moisturizer sink into my skin better. Best of all, it's portable, rechargable and you can use it in the shower. LOVE my Clarisonic! I have always taken good care of my skin but once I began using the Clarisonic, things changed even for me. My face had a smoother feel and glow that it never had before. I did some research a little while back and found that I could order replacement brushheads directly from the Clarisonic website (on autodelivery) for much less than is being charged anywhere else. I also agree with another reviewer in that buying from QVC would be a good thing to do if one is trying this for the first time as one can use the easy pay plan and try it for 30 days to make sure one likes it. I wish they would offer the matte black one though, I have a white one now. One drawback, which is the same for all these products with rechargable batteries. If used as directed, the life of the brush is expected to be 2-3 yrs tops and of course the battery is not replacable, making this a rather large investment. It would be nice if the company started offering a buyback program for those that have died as a partial exchange toward a new purchase but then again, as this gets more and more popular, perhaps it will go down in price? view more	Aug 10, 2011	29
So Fresh, So Clean! I started using a Clarisonic brush a few weeks ago and have to say that I absolutely LOVE it. My skin has never felt so clean after using a cleanser. Best of all, it's super easy to use - in less than 45 seconds, my skin feels rejuvenated after a long day at work (with makeup on). And yes it does live up to its hype.. for starters.. when you think you have finished washing your face.. try using the clarisonic and voila.. you will find that you missed a lot of the gunk! Favorite face tool every! Nothing has changed my face cleansing routine as much as the Clarisonic. I have been using the brush since February since I got it for Valentine's Day (mine is pink) and I have been using it every night since! I tried multiple skin exfoliators before I got this and nothing worked as well. This is so gentle but works so well! I used make-up remover wipes and I think I have taken all my make-up off until I use the Clarisonic. After I am finished the brush head is the color of my foundation (which rinses clean). It removes 6x as much make-up than just regular washing. It is completely water proof so I always take it in the shower. My model has a built in timer and beeps for you to switch areas on your face. Eh.. its ok but not a miracle product This is an ok brush - I really don't all the fuss. I've had mine for about 6 months now and it was a pricey investment. I bought it due to all the hype and honestly I'm not sure that this has made a substantial difference in my skin. Best thing I ever purchased for my skin This is a pricey investment, but 100% worth it. I read many many reviews before finally purchasing the Clarisonic. My skin is acne-prone and oily. Although I don't break out in big pimples, my skin, especially my forehead, always feel 'tough' and bumpy. I have been using the Clarisonic for 2 years and it has made a dramatic improvement. It thoroughly cleans my skin without irritation. In fact, my skin immediately felt 'cleaner' the first time I used it. I use it morning and night with just about any kind of facewash. It has completely smoothed my forehead, and it helps in preventing pimples from forming. I have become so dependent on this miracle product. When I went abroad for 3 weeks and couldn't take it with me, my skin immediately started getting 'bumpy' again. But the Clarisonic helps me clear it up right away. I will never be without the Clarisonic. It has made me feel so much more confident about my skin... The Amazing Clarisonic Mia! Like many other reviewers, I waited a long time to get my Clarisonic, and then I only made the purchase after I did tons of research to make sure I wasn't going to waste my money. Let me tell you, this has been one of the best things I have ever bought! I still suffer some breakouts, even though I am in my mid-30's (so unfair!) and I have some light wrinkles around my eyes. The Mia has dramatically improved my breakouts in the past 2 months and I have seen a slight, but definitely noticable improvement in my lines. I use it every evening with the sensitive brush head that was included and a liberal squirt of Philosophy's Purity Made Simple. Clarisonic I've had my clarisonic for months now and I use it almost daily. It cleans my face like nothing else and after I use it, my skin feels so smooth and soft. It helps my lotions and treatments sink in and my foundation go on better. It's quite expensive, but the brush holds charge well and is totally waterproof. I've even dropped it a couple times and the brush doesn't show it. The reason this is four stars is because I have a whitehead problem on my forehead and the clarisonic doesn't exfoliate them away. Holy Grail Good! This is worth every penny. I originally bought it so that my skin care products would be more effective. For some reason I hate washing my face and this makes it a pleasure. The 'blips' that indicate it's time to move to the next section of your face help to prevent you from over-exfoliating. You can expect clearer skin and improved texture. Clarisonic Mia I bought the Clarisonic Mia brush in December. I have been using it ever since and loving it! The thing that I most love about it is that it takes all my makeup off at the end of the day. When I used to just use my hands to apply my cleanser I would still have makeup left on my face, and my cotton ball and astringent would show it. Clarisonic Mia I was a bit nervous when I first got my Clarisonic Mia - would it hurt?? Would it clean really well? Reviews said yes (to the latter question), but everyone is different... The first 2 weeks of using it resulted in bumps on my forehead. My husband assured me this was normal (he investigated it fully before purchasing it and said all the reviews said this happened) and that they would go away. I kept at it and, sure enough, they've lessened - although they haven't gone away completely. After a few weeks, I stopped following the guide's directions (20 seconds on forehead, 10 seconds per cheek, 20 seconds for nose/chin area), as I felt my forehead didn't need 20 seconds. But perhaps the full 20 is what will help these bumps completely disappear? Anyway. It did not hurt - in fact, it's like a mini face massage! I love it. As for how it cleans - my skin feels so much smoother since I started using it and so much cleaner right after I wash. I even got a compliment from someone who said my skin looks fantastic (we were talking about the Clarisonic at the time, but still!). I've already purchased replacement brush heads to have on hand and 2 of the different soaps. So I definitely plan on using this for a long time. Overall - definitely worth the money. Mia Clarisonic I adore my Mia Brush and use is every day with no irritation or redness. In fact I have some redness on my cheeks and I find the Mia has reduced my redness while evening my skintone. This is not a miracle product but I feel it is the perfect gentle exfoliator while prepping my skin for further treatments. Not a miracle but very good I have the pink one and have had it for a couple of years. It's still raring to go, no problems with it breaking down. It holds a charge very well. It takes about 24 hours to fully charge and then I don't have to think about it again for at least a couple of weeks. I don't use it absolutely every day, although I should. Sometimes I'm just lazy. My skin tends to get capillaries and turn red easily, but the Clarisonic doesn't seem to hurt it or cause problems. No increased acne, no increased redness or other problems. It's not a miracle worker and is a bit expensive for what it can do, but IMO it really does clean. I know that when I've used the Clarisonic, I have gotten every bit of makeup off so that I will be less likely to have breakouts from not getting my makeup off well. Will not be without this ever! I've had this for over a year now and it has done wonders for my skin. I started getting acne when I was 19. I have mild to moderate cystic acne. I have tried all of the scrubs, over the counter creams, and infomercial systems that worked for a bit then stopped. Since I've started using the clarisonic my skin has made a HUGE turnaround. I no longer get the cystic acne and my face isn't as greasy as it used to be. Granted I still breakout here and there but it's always gone in a day or two and they no longer leaver the dark marks that take weeks to fade. This product is not meant to be an exfoliator it cleans sonicly and that can't be reproduced with a scrub or a manual brush. not a miracle, but soft smooth skin I've had the smaller Mia version for a few months now and have been using it once a day with African Black Soap as my cleanser. When you read as many glowing reviews as I have, it's easy to expect overnight miracles (invisible pores! porcelain skin!) but of course that's a bit unreasonable. I find that the Clarisonic does give me softer smoother skin, and that I feel like my skin care products are able to absorb well after I use it. Be very careful! I used this brush exactly as it says to and it made my skin HORRIBLE! It irritated my skin and I ended up with a rash and dry, peeling skin. It took weeks for my skin to recover. After a few months of not using it, I decided to give it another shot. What I found is that my skin can only take so much of it. I now use it only at night (instead of twice a day) and I don't even use it for the recommended time. It does make my face feel more clean but overall, I do not think it was worth the price tag.
