An enterprising young Georgia restaurateur named Truett Cathy started serving food in a tiny restaurant called the Dwarf Grill in Hapeville, Georgia, south of downtown Atlanta. In 1963, he conceived what he determined was a simple idea: make and market a mouth-watering chicken sandwich. And, oh, how that little idea has taken off. Truett opened his first Chick-fil-A Restaurant in 1967 at Greenbriar Mall in Atlanta. That?s where he served his perfected Chick-fil-A? Chicken Sandwich, intentionally creating it from the finest quality ingredients, including whole breast of chicken and lower-fat peanut oil. From its modest beginnings in the tiny south Atlanta eatery more than 60 years ago, Chick-fil-A? has grown into a beloved American icon, now serving a variety of fresh, tasty meals and menu items still made from delicious quality ingredients.

Love em, maybe a little too much I love the original sandwich! It's the pickles. They make it perfect. When I was in school many of the girls would have money left on their meal cards and buy us dozens of these sandwiches. I once ate 10 in one sitting. Great for parents! Chick Fil A is my favorite place to take my daughter when we eat fast food. The atmosphere is great and kid friendly. Tuesday nights kids eat free with the purchase of an adult value meal. They have an indoor play gym so kids can play no matter what the weather is. Their foods are fried in peanut oil which is healthier than the other fast food restaurants. Their kid meal toys are educational. You can trade in your kids meal unopened toy for an ice cream cone if you choose. They always have coupons in circulation. Great Place for Kids Chick-fil-A is a great place for kids. They have awesome kids meals and many freestanding Chick-fil-A restaurants have playplaces that are clean and safe! Best Atmosphere for a Restaurant Not only does Chick-fil-A have delicious food and a variety of options, their customer service cannot be beat. Everytime we walk into our regular Chick-fil-A we are greeted by name and a pleasing smile! The reason why we come back meal after meal. Eat Mor Chikin Chick-fil-a is a fabulous food place. Their chicken is delicious, they have tasty fries, lemonade, and ice cream (Ice Dream), and the staff is really well trained. It is very rare for us to have bad service, and we go there a lot! Although fast food, Chick-fil-a is also a little more healthy than a burger, as they fry their chicken breasts in peanut oil instead of fat. They also have lots of promos and coupons, and do lots to support our community (providing food for charitable events and such). One of my favorite places for chicken! I LOVE Chick-fil-A. We only have one in the area, but I'm very happy we have one at all because they seem to be scarce around here (in Northern California, that is). I love their chicken nuggets and sandwiches.
