Best Lip Moisturizer I've been using Carmex for years now and believe me when I say, I don't go anywhere without it! I love the way it makes my lips feel and the moisture lasts so you don't need to keep reapplying it - although you'll have trouble stopping yourself because this stuff is actually addictive. Makes my lips feel soft and tingly I love using Carmex. I get really dry lips when the seasons change and Carmex is my favorite go to product to help combat my dry lips. The instant I put it on my lips get tingly and after a couple hours they start to feel much softer. I always carry carmex in my purse because I never know when I will need it! Best Lip Balm for Winter, hands down! As a frequent chap lipped girl, through harsh winds and unbearable cold, Carmex has been there to cure every cold sore and patch of dry skin on my lips. A very thick and concentrated wax, one application will definitely keep you covered for the day. It locks in moisture and adds protection for sure! Addicting! I Love Carmex! I think i'm addicted. I always have two tubes on hand at all times, and also have them throughout the house in case i need a quick reapply. Carmex - Wonderful I love Carmex. Although it says right on the cannister that it is for Cold Sores - I use it for every day use. It is great as a shield from the cold in the winter. Also, I find that I get sores inside my nose from the heat in winter and they can be painful - the carmex works better than anything for those. I love the smell and the feel on my lips! a true lip-saver This stuff is so great. I have never in my life had a cold sore. But i hate getting dry cracked lips. When i was a kid this is what my mom should have been sending me to camp with. My boyfriend likes to laugh because he says I have jars of it everywhere from the car to the bedroom. I can never seem to find it when I need it. Soft lips! Carmex is a staple in my purse. I use to every evening before I go to sleep to prevent chapped lips. It's usually a tiny bit over $1 in price and works wonderfully! I've used to to treat sunburnt lips, as well just chapped lips from the change in season. It also boasts on the lid that it works well for cold sores and fever blisters. I can't vouch for those, but I can vouch for the chapped lips and sunburnt lips. It's the only product I will buy for chapped lips! When you apply it has a cooling sensation, which I love! Leaves lips moisturized I really love carmex. I like the original formula in the tube. They are available at every drug store. I have them in my purse, my desk, my car, and even in my daughters diaper bag. Carmex works well and relieves dry, chapped lips. It helps relieve my cold sores. carmex = awesome The original carmex is the best thing out there for my lips. I have had other products cause me to break out in huge blisters, and even the carmex caused me to do this when they altered the formula, but if i stick with the orignial formula carmex it works great and no allergic reactions! Vanilla Carmex I love Carmex products. I was especially excited to see the vanilla version of the original. I have it in the twist bottom, stick form. I like the vanilla Carmex because it is milder than the original formulation. It still tingles and has that classic Carmex smell and taste but it isn't as pungent or strong as the original or even the cherry version. It still moisturizes, heals and protects lips like the other formulations though. I wear it alone, over lip stains and with other lip glosses that don't moisturize my lips as much as I would like them to. This is a great product! view more	Sep 5, 2011	23
Stands the test of time! I LOVE Carmex. I always have. I like the traditional Carmex in the tins (not tin anymore) that you apply with your finger. I used those when I was younger, and I have upgraded. I've moved on to the flavored Carmex in the tubes, and they are not disappointing. The only product that keeps my lips soft First of all, do not be turned off by the label claiming it's for cold sores. While I'm sure it might work well for cold sores, I believe the majority of Carmex users use it for it's amazing moisturizing properties. My lips are very prone to getting painfully chapped and (sorry for the image) they start to peel. I have tried almost every product that claims to heal and prevent chapped lips, and while some of them lessened the problem, they just didn't work like I expected, or they worked somewhat well in the beginning and then stopped working over time. Carmex is the only lip balm that works for me, and it works fast too. My lips are utterly soft and kissable, and it took less than a week for Carmex to make them so. My Lips Love Carmex Carmex is the greatest for lips. I have tried all kinds of lip balms and chapsticks and none work as good as Carmex. You can tell it's working as soon as you put it on. Only one I use I came across Carmex back in high school, and immediately became addicted :) You can feel it working as soon as you put it on. I've tried other brands, but none have worked as well. I like the cherry flavor the best, but it feels like it is a different formulation than the original, so I switch back and forth between cherry and original. Not bad, just different. A must have Carmex is a staple lip balm for me. I have been using it for years and it's the only thing to instantly soothe dry, cracked lips that leaves them moisturized for hours. Down with Carmex (as a lip balm) So this is not a good review for Carmex... when I put Carmex on my lips last year, not only did my lips swell and blister, but the redness spread to the skin surrounding my lips. I ended up looking like the joker from The Dark Knight. It was a painful experience and I couldn't understand why it was happening. Then I read and found some facts... Carmex is designed to only treat cold sores... ingredients include: Menthol, Camphor, and Phenol which are all ingredients suited to treat cold sores but are too harsh to be used on lips on a daily basis. Because these ingredients are so drying (drying out a cold sore is a necessary step to healing it) it can dry out regular lips and cause a lot of painful, red, clown-ish lips. Nice lipbalm I have used Carmex forever..it's a great treatment for your lips. I only use this at night before I go to sleep. In the morning, any dry skin I had the night before is gone. Don't understand the hype I bought carmex at the grocerry store because my allergies were acting up and my lips were so cracked and dried. I put it on in the car and even though I loved the healing power it had I still hated the taste and smell of this product. Best lip balm (and I've tried LOTS!) I have big lips and I smile/laugh/talk a lot, which stretches out my lips and causes them to get dry quickly. I've tried SO MANY lip balms over the years and keep going back to Carmex. It makes my lips look naturally glossy without being slick, lasts a long time, and keeps my lips soft and supple (I once had a makeup artist comment that he used it on models because the mentholated aspect of it seemed to plump lips up!) Love The Tingle ;) I cannot stand to have dry lips even for a few minutes and have always used lip balms, lip gloss, etc. to keep my lips moisturized. I used to love the highly-scented/flavored ones but once I tried Carmex, I never looked back. I realized that I had to reapply the others all the time, but the Carmex gave longer-lasting relief. My only problem with it was the jar-type packaging because it's not always convenient to have to apply with my finger, so I was elated when I found the stick and squeeze versions. NOT for every-day use, people!! People need to realize that Carmex should ONLY be used for the treatment of cold sores and not as an every-day treatment for chapped lips. It contains a lot of strong chemicals that act as drying agents to dry out cold sores and NOT as moisturizing agents that your lips need. Gotta Have My Carmex I keep a pot of Carmex in my purse, bathroom, on my night table...everywhere! I have a horrible time with my lips cracking in the winter months. Carmex is the only lip balm that really heals them and does it quickly. It is also great as a gloss over matte lipsticks.
