Very good quality dog food We switched to Canidae Chicken and Rice at the recommendation of our Breeder. Our black lab's coat looks great. He was already shiny but now his coat is extremely glossy. We get stopped and asked about it all the time. Our Golden Retriever who is older is also doing well on it. Her energy level has improved and her teeth are cleaner. It was a little harder for me to find this food but I'm glad I made the effort because I think it is an excellent food and a great value. view more	Nov 9, 2011	14
Great food! We were introduced to Canidae by friends that we got our puppy from. The first thing I was happy to see was that the food was for all life stages, not just for puppies. After reading some information that puppies are growing too fast because of puppy specific foods, we were relieved to see this was an option. We decided to switch our other two (older) dogs onto the food as well. Since switching them, they've never been in better health! One dog has always had very thin hair and had trouble keeping weight on. Since switching to Canidae, he's been growing new hair and been maintained a healthy weight. My Dogs love it Canidae is an all around great food. Not only is the food healthy for our pets but the company makes it using wind energy which is great for our planet. Quality dog food and treats I have been using Canidae dog food and treats for years. We used to feed my dog junk with no regards to the ingredients. Canidae Grain Free Pure Elements I'm a big believer that money spent on quality pet food will translate into better health for my pets. That being said, I'm on a budget, so I'm always on the lookout for the best possible food at the lowest possible price. I recently decided that I wanted to spend a little extra to switch my dog to a grain-free food. I spent hours researching ingredients, calorie counts, and costs. Canidae Grain Free Pure Elements was the winner. Although it costs more per bag than the previous food that I was feeding, the high calorie count means that I could reduce how much I am feeding by 25%. My dog seems to really like this food, as well. I think this is a food that we can stick with without breaking the bank. If you're switching to grain-free for the first time, a word of caution: make sure you transition slowly (over 2 weeks or so) to limit intestinal distess. view more	Oct 9, 2011	12
My dogs wouldn't eat it I was excited when I saw this at my local health food store. The ingrediants were outstanding and I was looking to transition my dogs off their current food. I have never known either of these dogs to be all that picky about their food (they are 10 and 12 now), but they refused to eat it. I had mixed it with the prior food and they ate around it. excellent quality food This was the best dog food I ever had my Boston Terrier on. The high quality ingredients made his coat super shiny, and completely cleared up his dry, flaky skin. The only problem with this food is the price. It is super expensive. Also, I cannot find it locally anymore, so I have been forced to switch brands. Canidae I have three British Cream Retrievers and they are very fond of the Canidae. The Canidae offers alot of protein for you dogs without being hard on the digestive system. Best Dog Food Canidae is a great dog food formula. We have been feeding it to my dog since she was a puppy. You can continue to use the same formula of Canidae for Puppies, Adults, and Seniors. I own a beagle, and it's tough to keep her weight under control, since beagles LOVE to eat. Canidae is ultra-nutricious, and my dog loves the taste. Glad I found Canidae My dog is 8 years old and I did not think of her as old. She has developed arthritis and limps some. I was told about Canidae and where to find it in my area. One of the BEST dog foods! I have referred SO many people to this brand of dog food. It is one of the best on the market, and I know of 2 dogs that would not be here today if their owners had not of switched. great dog food! I loved the All Life Stages formula. My dog had a great coat and was so healthy while he was on this food. We switched him from Purina and noticed the difference immediately! Wish it was sold at more stores though, we had to drive over 40 minutes to get it. view more	Jul 8, 2010	36
