Brings me back to my childhood. This is such a cute and happy game. It brings me back to my childhood. Of course, it isn't as exciting as it was all those years ago, but I still enjoy playing it. Takes Forever I've never understood why people like this game. I know it's easy for kids to play, but I don't even remember liking it as a kid. I think I just always found it frustrating, you get almost to the end and run out of cards so you shuffle and start over and end up back at the beginning of the game when you pick up one of the setback cards. couldnt love it more.. I remember this being the very first board game I ever got for Christmas when I was about five or six years old. I played it all the time. When my daughters were the same age I got them one also. It is just a very classic fun game. One color, two colors..what do you think... What a great game to help your child learn colors and basic math. Not only do the kids learn what colors the have to move on but they get to count those spaces. Not your "named" learning game but a great one to use in classrooms, preschools or at home! Game of the ages Candy Land is a game that I think that at one time or another every child in American should have the luxury of playing. I have personally made sure that my own children have a game of their own. Playing it with them brings back so many happy memories of my child hood. Such a classic game!! Candy Land is a board game that has aged really well. This was my sister and my favorite game when we were little girls. She used to love to cheat at it,but I was such a good sport I didn't care. It is really based on the luck of the draw, which makes it very easy for a child to understand since there is no strategy necessary. I love it still as an adult! Kid friendly I am a preschool teacher and I have Candy Land in my classroom. The children love to play this game it teaches them color recognition, counting, and social skills. Candy Land is a sweet treat for all ages... I used to play Candy Land as a child. I loved the game. Simple game for young children to get involved in. Matching colo codedd cards to colored spots on the board, and creative character pictures too. I went to purchase this game for my daughter and was suprised about the low cost of this game. Who doesn't love this game? Who doesn't love Candyland? A simple little game to pass the time with little ones. childhood memories This game takes me back to my childhood, and this was my favourite game. This is a fantastic game for young children where they are able to learn their colours in an easy and fun way. It's like snakes and ladders, but a bit easier. It is directed at the much younger age group but it is a wonderful game for all ages really. I think I was playing this up until I was like 10 or 11. Takes Me Back This game takes me back to when I was a wee little thing. I loved to play it over and over again. I recently bought it for my niece, and had to laugh when I realized how simple of a game it really is. It almost ruined my memory. I do have to admit that it is a great theme to incorporate into a children's Birthday Party.
