Burt's Bees and me Hello! I have waited longer than I should to have tried Burt's Bees products. At first, I thought they would be over priced for the product, but little did I know the truth! These products ROCK! They are worth the money! I have tried their orange face wash, tea tree oil blemish stick and moisturizer that has fica in it! I'm so sparkly now! Not happy with Burts Bees I had a Burt's Bees shiny lip gloss explode all over me on the 2nd use. I corresponded with customer service and was told that they'd send me a replacement. Of course, nothing ever arrived. I was told a 2nd one was being sent. What a surprise - that hasn't arrived yet either. I think they're lying to me. I'd be very hesitant to buy their products again. Burt's Bees Radiance OMG! I cannot say enough about this particular line. I have tried many expensive products for fine lines and uneven skin tone and hated them for either the texture or ineffectiveness. I really like Burt's Bees I got the trial kit as a freebie and that's all it took, I am hooked! Their products are also not tested on animals. Burt's bees products are also great for sensitive skin. Res-Q Ointment Great for Sports Moms! I love this little tin of Burt's Bees Res-Q ointment, it goes right in my purse. My son plays basketball, baseball, hockey and loves skateboarding. Their CEO is Rad. I'm a tree-hugging hippie originally from San Francisco, and I wound up going to Business School at Vanderbilt in Nashville. We were lucky to be the school chosen to host the Net Impact Conference in Fall 2007, and I was one of the key players in organizing the speakers and panel discussions. While setting up in the early morning hours before the conference kick-off, I asked a fellow panel manager who this older man was in our midst. He was just hanging out, typing contentedly on his laptop, not bothering anyone. She whispered, "that's the CEO of Burt's Bees!" We continued with our activities (1500 people were about to converge upon our campus for the event) and let him go about his business. At one point though, he finished typing on his laptop and wanted to chat. He asked us about the conference, how things were going, and then offered us some free Burt's Bees stuff. I was disarmed by how relaxed and NORMAL he was. There was no underhanded motive. There was no smarminess or attitude. He asked me and my colleague where we were from, how the job search was going, etc. When we asked him where he was from, he shouted excitedly, "Effen' A, you couldn't tell I'm from Bwaston?" In a thick Boston accent. To which I replied, 'Go SOX!" and he echoed, "GO SWOX!" We had a great little chat, a lot of laughs, all of which was concluded with him giving me and my colleague his personal business card, saying, "Call me if you need a job." Then he went on to give one of the keynote speeches to the 1500 attendees of the day. I will never forget what a funny, relaxed and unassuming man he was. Burt's Bees Foot cream Their foot cream is absolutely amazing. It's the only thing I have found that keeps my feet smooth moisturized, even in cold winters.
