I love my Blackberry. It is a great and durable phone that has lasted me for years. I love the keypad and its very easy to use. I don't use any of the internet or business features, but I don't feel like its a wast of money at all. view more

Freeeeeeeeee.......zes alot

I liked the size, the sound and the whole phone until it started freezing on me. I had to send it back within 5 days of getting it because I couldn't do anything. another thing that was ok but would have like was the app store. The Iphone (I have an Ipod Touch) has a lot of awesome apps that Blackberry doesn't. If you don't text that much then this phone is good for you, but I text and search the internet, so I need larger keys. view more

never a problem

i have to say that blackberry makes a good phone i had my pearl for over to years and never had a problem with i was convinced i needed to upgrade to a better phone but ive had more problems with the phone i have had for less than a year than i had with my pearl in the two years that i had it i will have no problem goin back to black berry once my term is up with my new phone. view more

really love this one

so ok ive had a cell for the last 8 years been through so many phones its not even funny! I got a BB 16mo ago and i have to say i am totally impressed. these phones are virtually indestructible, the day i got my phone i stuck it in my purse and my daughter dumped water in with it.....UGH.....but it didnt phaze it, then i flushed it oooppppsss!!!! then it fell out of my pocket while 4 wheeler riding and got ran over scratched it up but still worked great, went through ou energy efficient front loader washing machine and still worked...then after a year of torture my baby put it in my bowl of cereal and that made the speaker only work when on speaker phone...i cant find a single complaint outside of the battery life. I LOVE THIS PHONE!!! i know people whove upgraded to the droid and will be going back to there BB! view more

Pearl

This is my first blackberry! I like the phone but have had trouble with the battery constantly dieing (have had to replace handset twice and battery 3 times). At time it runs very slow and will only speed up by resetting (pulling out the battery). Although I love blackberry's I cannot wait to upgrade to a different one! view more

QWERTY Typing Ease of BlackBerry Pearl

BlackBerry redefines ease of use with the Pearl. Although other smart phones may have a larger screen, the QWERTY keypad with defining keys outdoes the touch screen of iPhone any day. It's accessibility makes it easier to type and dial numbers rather than wasting minutes deleting character unintentionally pressed. view more

Just can't let it go...

I love my pearl! I've had it over 3 years now without any problems. It is so easy to use and is the perfect size. AT&T keeps trying to get me to "upgrade" but I think they will have to pry it out of my cold dead fingers before that happens. So why only 4 stars, because you can't buy them new anymore! If I ever do get another phone (if this one ever dies) I will get another Blackberry. view more

So sad to see it go

I had a Blackberry Pearl (Black) during my 2 year contract with AT&T 2006-2008. Best phone I've ever had- durable, stylish, and perfect all around. When my family decided to switch to Verizon, I thought "I'll just get another one". When I got to the store, they told me they had just discontinued the Pearl two days earlier! Unbelievable. Recently Verizon debuted its Blackberry Flip, which is a glorified flip-phone. They're getting rid of the Pearl, beloved by so many, yet they keep the Flip? I just switched back to AT&T and they don't carry the Black ones anymore (an ugly pink one instead). They won't let me use my old Blackberry unless I get a $30 data plan. The Pearl is cute and all, but it's not ideal for modern internet use. It's a sad goodbye. view more
