Oily and Ineffective I know this is oil, but it feels very slick and oily. I didn't really like the way it made my skin feel. Try palmers cocoa butter oil instead - it's much nicer on the skin! Excellent for dry, aging skin!!! I have VERY dry skin and now that I'm 50 I struggle to find a product to keep my skin mosturized. I have literally tried every product out there to no avail. Then I saw Bio Oil at Costco one day and thought I'd give it a try. I figured if it could work on scars and stretch marks it might help with wrinkles while help to moisturize as well. I have had great success with it! People have commented on how young I look these days and that dry, scaly skin is all but gone. I am so pleased with the product I've begun using it on my arms and legs as well. For the older woman with dry skin it really is a miracle. It also reduces age spots and uneven skin tone. Does wonders on my irritated skin I have been using bio oil for about 8 months now. I started when I was about 3 months pregnat and started using in hoped to avoid strectch marks. I DID get two small marks and have been using the product and it seems to help minimize them in color. Aside from putting in on my stomach I have been using it on the backs of my arms where I have red irritated skin from a past allergic reaction. great for sensitive skin I've used Bio Oil for several years, mostly as a night treatment on my sensitive, somewhat dry, skin. It seems to "sink in" a bit, so you don't feel like you're leaving an oil slick on your pillow case, but still provides a great moisturizing night treatment. I don't use it every night, perhaps once or twice a week, and my face feels great in the morning. Great for healing, doesn't clog or cause... Bio Oil is an blend of oils that is marketed for scars and stretch marks. Bio Oil is wonderful for when I over done the home peels and my skin needs some TLC. It has never broken me out or caused clogs. It definitely seems to aid in my skin's ability to repair itself. It is also rather soothing on scratches and scrapes. As for the stretch mark claim, maybe Bio Oil is helpful when they are just forming, but having stretch marks myself (thank you dear son) I can say that the only thing that will get rid of them is reincarnation. view more	Jul 31, 2011	29
ok for some but not all This product is supposed to be the best for stretch marks and scarring. I used it during my entire pregnancy and I still had a ton of stretch marks. I think if your skin is prone to them you will get them no matter what. I do think it helps to heal scarring faster though. Great For Minor Injuries I had used Bio-Oil throughout my 2nd pregnancy in hopes of reducing/preventing new stretchmarks from appearing. Unfortunatly for me, it was not able to keep them away :( That said, my 2 year old recently got badly scratched on her face. As soon as it scabbed over, I remembered the bottle of Bio-Oil sitting in my cupboard and immediately applied it to the scratches 2 x / day. It completely healed her skin within a few days and there are no visible scars. I think it is an amazing product in this usage. Great for Keratosis Pilaris I bought Bio Oil a few months ago with the intention on using it on a few acne-generated hyperpigmented spots on my face, but I was kind of worried the oiliness would cause my skin to break out. So I decided to try it on a small area of keratosis pilaris (KP) on my upper thighs. It worked AMAZINGLY. Within two days, my skin was smooth and the KP was gone. I have tried sooo many creams and lotions to get rid of it, but none of them really did much for my skin. BIO OIL is a miracle! This product dramatically improved the apperance of my scars, from major surgery,when I had almost given up on trying to make them less noticeable. Bio Oil I started using bio oil about 6 months ago when it was on sale at CVS. i read some reviews on make up alley about cleansing oils and using oil for a moisturizer and i liked the ingredients in this so i picked it up. after cleansing my skin i put some of this on and rub it in gently. then i take a rose or lavender toner and spritz my face liberally and rub that in too. i love it. i get teh glowy dewy face that i love and in the morning myface is radiant and i love it. view more	May 11, 2011	38

Effective Scar Diminishing Oil Bio-Oil is great! With a bit of patience, it treats scars so they are less noticeable. I have used this product myself for my own scars, and after a few weeks there are no hints of scars in the areas applied. To add to Bio-Oil's effectiveness, it also smells awesome and has a great consistency. Great for Dry Skin I am on my third bottle of Bio-Oil. It is really moisturizing for my dry skin that tends to get extremely dry during the winter. It has also helped fade the acne scars on my face. Not for me Personally, I found the scent of Bio-Oil to be very unpleasant and overpowering. I used it for several weeks on some stretch marks on my thighs, but discontinued use because the scent was so bad. Bio-Oil I find it unbelievable that so many users tried this product & claimed it worked. I used"Bio-Oil" for about a month and saw no difference in the appearance of scars or marks. Bio Oil Really Softens I have been using Bio Oil for about a year now and I've really noticed a difference in my skin. I use it to help with dry patches on my elbows and find that they have become much softer and less dry since I have been using it. 4 kids no scars I have four children and not a stretch mark to show for it! I started using bio oil and the stretch marks I did have started to slowly fade. I love this stuff it's fantastic. Bio Oil I love Bio Oil. My roommate in college recommended it to me. I have no idea of the validity of their statements surrounding lightening stretch marks, but I do know that it's a great moisturizer and in the years that I've used it on my hips and chest/neck I have only had healthy deeply moisturized skin. Excellent for scars! I have been trying this product for a few weeks and I can already see that my scar is already beginning to fade, I can only imagine that it will getter better in the coming weeks. I apply the product two times a day and it seems to be working so far. At first the smell was a turn off, but once you see the results, you will barely notice the smell. Bio Oil I started using bio-oil on my face a few months ago. I ran out of my night cream and thought I would give bio-oil a chance. Must have in by beauty kit I did not notice a strong odor. I started using this because I read Kim Kardashian uses it around her eyes. She had gorgeous skin so I thought why not! Bio Oil Works Beautifully I bought the Bio Oil about a week and a half ago for a stretch mark I have on my tummy. I also have been putting on my recent acne scars. For the acne scars it has been remarkable, the redness has reduced and my skin tone looks much more even. The stomach line has faded a bit and I feel confident it will continue to improve. I don't mind the smell although it is very distinct. Avoid if you don't like strong scents This product has many rave reviews for fading scars, but because of its strong scent, I wasn't able to use it long enough to find out if it was effective for me. great for scars I have used this on an old scar that was from a burn and it has really made a difference in the skin tone. Not on the Face! I first bought this product because I heard it was the "secret weapon" of Europe and my skin was suffering through a winter in the midwest. At first I put in on my face after I cleansed in the evening. I immediately began breaking out with rebellious pimples. I didn't want to blame the Bio oil, but after altering other parts of my regimen I stopped using it. I was angry that the "miracle oil" didn't work for me until I decided to get creative. I began using it on my hips and butt to see if it would help with uneven tone and stretch marks (like it claims) without making me break out! AH HAH. it works wonders. Worked great on the little scars on my l... Initially I was afraid this product would be sticky or clog my pores, but I was pleasantly surprised! Bio-oil absorbs into the skin quickly, leaving it instantly more supple and hydrated. I was using this product to diminish little scars left by ingrown hairs on the back of my thighs that resulted from wearing tight workout clothing. Miracle oil I have to admit, I was hesitant to buy this kind of expensive oil that didn't look very promising. (PLEASE update the packaging!!) It had gotten so many rave reviews online that I just had to try it. I am soo glad I did. This oil is my go to fix for anything--fade scars, heal scars, control breakouts, moisturize extra dry patches. The only thing this thing hasn't done as promised is remove stretch marks.. but I was using them on very old marks that were already white in colour. I've heard very good results is you use the oil as they form ie. during pregnancy. Pretty Good. I first discovered this product from a magazine. I had given birth to my first son and didn't do much for the stretchmarks as I didn't think they were that big of a problem or noticeable. I was using the Palmers Cocoa Butter for stretch marks and didn't see no results, but the Bio-Oil caught my attention since it was featured in the magazine and it claims to be good for many skin problems so I went looking for it at my local drugstore. I bought a bottle of the oil and used it for some time. You don't see results right away so the only thing you might like and that I liked was the light scent it has, and well that it's not greasy either even though it's oil, it absorbs quickly in to your skin. I didn't see no results after some time so it just fell out of routine and stopped using it and left my 2nd bottle practically full. I started using Bio-Oil again since I had the bottle in my bathroom and read some reviews on how it does work but it takes time to see results, and well yeah I still don't see any results on my stretchmarks but I had uneven skin tone on my upper legs from my pregnancies too that made me a bit uncomfortable during summer time and the Bio-Oil seems to work fast on uneven skin tone cause it has disappeared a lot, it's so amazing! This product has done wonders for my ski... This is a product that I've easily passed up at the drugstore numerous times. But, after reading reviews, i decided to try it since it was on sale at the time for only $9. I was hesitant to try an oil on my skin because I tend to have oily/combination skin. But, this stuff is AMAZING! It's oily at first, but is absorbed into the skin really nicely and leaves my skin so smooth and instantly radiant. NO KIDDING! I initially purchased it in hopes of fading some acne scars and it's done just that. It's even helped even out my skin tone and give me a nice glow. Bio Oil = Overpriced Mineral Oil When I heard about Bio Oil, it seriously sounded like a miracle product. I picked up a small bottle to try it out and noticed that it is mostly composed of mineral oil. The smell is dead on with what baby oil smells like. Coincidence? I dont think so.
