Beautiful Loose Shadows! When Bare Minerals first came out I would buy all of the sets they came out with because they were always such a good value. They have such good color choices and the big selling point is how pigmented yet blendable they are. I will admit that now I don't reach for these nearly as often as I used to. But that's only because when Im in a hurry I don't like to deal with loose pigments. But other than that they are beautiful and I would recommend you check out these shadows. especially when they come out with kits and throw in brushes and mascara, etc. view more	Nov 3, 2011	14
I'm a BEleiver I used to only use pressed eyeshadow and thought that loose pigments would be too messy. That all changed once I used Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals eyeshadow. I have not bought a single pressed eyeshadow since. I love the colors. I love how blendable they are. They aren't nearly as messy as I thought they would be, unless you're a total butterfingers klutz and drop the open container, but even then there's the protective cover so not too much will spill. A Rainbow of Variety! The variety of colors are endless. I love how buildable the colors are and how you can create such different looks by how you layer them - example, applying a shimmery sheer color on the base and then a matte color over it creates a "foiled" look that Leslie recommends. Sparkly pots of goodness!! Bare Escentuals or Bare Minerals makes wonderful eye shadows. My Mother-in-law got me hooked on BE about 10 years ago. The eye shadows, for the most part are wonderfully nuanced. If you have oily eyelids, a primer is essential. Don't be put off by the fact that it is loose powder. It is not messy. Favorite Eyeshadow The Bare Minerals brand has my all time favourite eyeshadow. I actually use the charcoal color as my eyeliner more often and I love it. Great Pigment and Staying Power I consider myself somewhat of an aficionado of all things eye-makeup. When I discovered the BE eyeshadows back in 2003, it was love at first sight. Eyeshadow that will turn heads - Bare Mi... Bare Minerals eyeshadow is my absolute favorite. I have extremely sensitive skin and eyes and can only use a select few products without irritation, so I was skeptical that I could use it. I decided to give it a try, and have never looked back. I really can sleep in it and have no problems. It is pricey,for a small container, but you only have to use such a tiny amount, that one container has lasted me well over a year - so it's really a good value as well. beautiful colors for all skin tones I love the BE line of eye shadows. I have TONS of them. My favorites are the Meet the Browns and Meet the Grays. Actually, meet the Plums too ok all of them. The shadows can be bought in kits like the browns, grays and plums or individually. The great part about the kits is they are color matched so if you are unsure what to get with what. The other good part is they are loose powder. This allows you to layer on the color for more of less depending on day or night for your look. Addicted To BE Eyeshadow! I would describe myself as a "Collector" of Bare Minerals eyeshadow! I own more than 50 colors, not only because of my own purchases, I received many as gifts. It all started when my friends took me to get a makeover at the Bare Escentuals store. I was hesitant to try it, I thought working with the mineral colors would be difficult. In fact, it is mush easier to blend and lasts longer than pressed powder or cream eyeshadows. They make GREAT gifts, with individual colors and also wonderful special edition kits. The shadows last long on your eyes, but it doesn't take much to achieve your look, so you're not having to replace them constantly. If you order on their website, they often have great sales and free shipping offers! You can also get ideas for different looks and submit your own to share. amazingly BEautiful shadows I love bare escentuals eyeshadow. They are so versatile. You can sweep them on for a sheer look, pat them on for more color, or wet them for a foiled look. Long lasting color I have several of these mineral eyeshadows, and I love them all. The coverage is great. You can layer on more color for a more defined look. They are light and airy, and the color lasts all day. For the price of one little pot of makeup, I think it is well worth it due to the quality of the product. Comes in tons of shades. Amazing I have been using the Bare Minerals eyeshadow for several years now (at least 5) and it's the ONLY eye shadow that I can count on every time I use it! Gorgeous I love Bare Escentuals' shadows. The colors can range from very light to a luminious, intense look. I love that the colors are buildable and you can acheive the look you want by applying a little or rev-ing it up and making a glamourous look. Bareminerals is wonderful, but sometimes... I have used bare minerals products for several years now. I've been pleased with everything so far except the inability to sample easily. By far, my favorite in the eyeshadow line is the Glimmer selection; I currently own Soul Sister and Queen Tiffany. Bare Minerals Eyeshadow Mess While i do think the colors found in the BE collection of eyeshadows are unique and beautiful, I am absolutely not a fan. I have used BE for about a year now, including the eyeshadow, and I cannot wait until they run out. Not only is the powder a mess, but many of their eyeshadows are extremely glittery. I personally like more nude tones, so the excess of glitter is a huge turn-off. When applied, the BE eyeshadows give a heavy uneven look. In addition, the eyeshadows are expensive, and the quality just is not there. If you like powdery glittery eyeshadow, then BE's eyeshaows are perfect for you. multi-purpose very blendable and easy to achieve the looks you want, but can take some practice. Can use wet or dry to achieve specific looks or to get the amount of color you would like. Comes in a wide variety of colors, can use any as a liner.
