jalapano pulled pork sandwich This has to be one of the best sandwich's Applebees has its pulled pork with spicy coleslaw and pieces of jalapeno's. Love their 2 for 20 menu! I love the 2 for 20 menu, its a great deal for couples on a budget to go out and get a nice meal but stay within their budget and not break the bank! My only request? More vegetarian options! I have been able to tailor some food to not have meat, but it would be great to have some more options that I could order without the waiter or cook asking "Do you really want that without meat?" Or having to send back because it has meat on it. I know the majority of America eats meat, but there are a lot of people that don't like meat. Please cater to us veggie lovers! sometimes can be a hit or miss I have been to several different applebees and have had a variety of experiences. To having the worst server possible to the food still being frozen. Great Atmosphere This place has an amazing atmosphere & is very good quality for the price. They have late night 1/2 price appetizers and the two for twenty combo! Always come back. Applebees offers a variety of food at good prices. The restaurant most always has good, quick service. My children love the kid friendly environment. Great place to dine I havent been there in a while but the times that i have been there has always been good. I love it when they have the two for twenty. Me and my friend went there when they had that promotion and we still had to take home a doggie bag so you are getting plenty for what you pay for. Not for food allergy families! Our family used to love Applebees until we went there with our food allergic son. The waitstaff is not allowed to give any allergy information to customers without calling into a corporate line which is not open as long as the restaurant. 2 for $20.00 Not so Good The 2 for $20 special that seams to be a big attraction for Applebee's I don't feel is that great. The main focus for the special seems to be chicken. Applebee's Applebee's is one of our family's favorite places to eat out. Considering we have a family of 5, it is so nice to have a restaurant to go to with enough variety in their menu to satisfy each of us. The dining experience is relaxed and enjoyable. They also have TVs around when you don't want to miss a good sporting event, too. I simply can't think of anything to say bad about Applebee's. Awesome wings and fries Decent food at decent prices. I don't really care for their steak though, kinda tastes fake? I like their wings and fries the best. Two for twenty is the best deal Applebees uses a lot of salt in many of their marinades and sauces but you can't beat some of the two for twenty selections which includes an appetizer. Applebee's can be good or bad depending ... I have had both good & bad experiences at Applebee's. I once ate at one where the food wasn't very appealing;however, since then, for the most part, they have all been very good. I enjoy their half price appetizer hours. Steak not so good I went to Applebees a week ago and asked for a rare steak. I got the steak and there was so much grissle on it that I could not cut it or eat it. Love applebees My family loves going to applebees. The food is always good and the service is fast. I love the 2 for 20 deal. Their ribs Are really good as is their orange chicken bowl. Applebee's My family and I love Applebee's! We try and eat there at least once a month! We love the 2 for $20 deal. I just wish they could change the selections every once in a while. I also have to keep a box of crayons in my car to bring with me. (crayons that go with the children's menu) The Applebee's in my area always "run out" of things often. Applebees the place to be I think applebees is a good place to go and grab some food. The food isn't amazing by any means but its good food. I think Applebees has a great happy hour. Horrible customer service, mediocre food My family and I hav never had a good experience with any Applebees we have eaten at. This spans through three states due to us being military. Every time we subject ourselves to this restaurant the service is slow and the food is overpriced for the quality. I was once left for almost an hour for the carside to go. When I eventually went into the restaurant, I was told my food was given to another family. The manager then asked me if I wanted the kitchen to remake my food. Since it was almost 8 o'clock on Valentine's Day, there were no other restaurants in the area and my family was hungry, I told her I did want my food replaced. Best part is the Appetizers I have been to Applebees twice in the last month and I have to say I'm not really impressed. The food isn't terrible, but it is bland. Nothing really jumps out to me as being delicious or something I have to try. On the first visit I tried the jalapeno burger which had sweet jalapenos on it and the burger itself was not that juicy. On the second trip I had some of the pasta and I found the sauce to be a bit bland to taste, but the noodles were good. Love the 2 for $20 The last dozen or so times I have gone to Applebee's, I have been completely pleased with my visit. My food came out fresh, hot and fast! And I absolutely love the choice of 2 for $20 on the menu. When friends and I want to go out and share some of each others' plates and appetizers, this is the perfect way to do it. Freezer burns anyone I have tried Applebees from coast to coast and the only positive I can give them is they are definitely consistent. The service is usually decent as is their Carside to go service. But the food is just consistently awful. Applebees Good not great My family goes to Applebees atleast every couple of months. They have good food but I feel it is pricey. When I go I try to stay on the cheaper side which usually is the burgers. I use to like their three cheese grilled sandwich but they did away with it. Cheap American Food I love the Applebees ribs here, they give a good amount and just fall off the bone (if done correctly). All Applebees are not the same though, so you just have to find the one that is good. They have good fries and moderate prices for what they offer. family night dinning This is one of my favorite places to eat out with my kids. They offer a family night where children can eat for 99 cents (including a drink) while the adults can have a regular meal. The staff is always super friendly, the food is good, the price is about 10 dollars a plate but I usually get my stacked california turkey club for 7 dollars. disappointed I've been waiting forever to attend Applebees as we don't have 1 in the area where I reside. About a month ago, we went to Applebees and I was SO disappointed. I was comparing this with other similar type restaurant available and I can't believe the food and drinks when I was there. The prices are cheap but the food also reflects that. I had a Strawberry Mojito, which i didn't even finish. It was nothing but some Strawberry syrup in a drink, which tasted like water and sugar syrup. I had the chicken, which was alright but it was far from impressive. My daughter's kids meal was not much either. Applebees This was always one of my favorite restaurants due to the great , well stocked salad bar. However, my daughter and I were VERY disappointed last week when we went there and found that they have recently cut the salad bar items WAY down. According to our server, 19 items were removed. What a disappointment! Even my favorite salad dressing was removed (the French). My entire family has always added a salad bar to our meals, but we won't be anymore. There just was nothing on that bar. They ended up putting the items that are left in bigger bowls to fill the space. Without the salad bar, I just don't see a reason to go there anymore. Decent food, not great kid food We ate at Applebees last weekend for a big girls night out and I was so disappointed! Lately every time I go I am disappointed. The food isn't that great. Anything "healthy" is spicy, salads are one of the most calorie-ridden items, and they promote food with a lot of cheese and bacon. The food doesn't usually appear too fresh. And the kids menu is decent, although the side options are celery, broccoli, fries, or applesauce. Sizzlin Menu at Applebees I just ate at Applebees tonight. i ordered the chicken queso. It was grilled chicken with onions and peppers and they were covered with a spicy queso cheese. it was fabulous. I also had potato chunks with it and they were great also. Applebees restraunt Applebees, oh Applebees, Just thinking of it, makes my mouth water. I love, love, love this place. Has everything that I love to eat. I try to go there often. My hubby doesn't like this place but gives in and takes me. They can be pricy on some items but U can always find something in you budjjet. So go to Applebees and have you own opinion.
