I do more online shopping with American Eagle Outfitters than actual in-store shopping, since there is more selection online. There are also generally more sales and free shipping, so I have nothing to lose. I love that I can return anything to a store in person without having to mail things back. While things don't always fit right, I am consistently impressed with the quality and good prices. view more

The only place to buy jeans

This is the only place that I have been able to find jeans that fit me perfectly. Before I had my son there was no way that i would even go in this store, but I decided to give them a try post baby and fell in love and been in love ever since. view more

Trendy and affordable

American Eagle Outfitters is my favorite store. It sells clothing, shoe, accesories, and lingerie. Some American Eagle stores inclue an Aerie store which is similar to VS. The stores' clothing is affordable and super trendy. They always have great displays, the staff are super nice, and you get every penny worth paying. view more

American Eagle Outfitters

I used to think they had very cute clothes...that the style was on point with What was trendy and hip right now. But in the last few years I think the quality has gone way down ( I bought a paper of shoes there last summer that started to come apart the week I bought them. When I took them back the guy said that was the 4th pair he had got returned be cues they were falling apart?! OMG why sell them then! Gezzz) Any way I have always liked the fit of there clothes. I have wide hips and found there pants fit me great but they just don't have very fashionably clothes lately! view more

The softest jeans

I love, love, love American Eagle jeans. They are so soft and really comfortable. I also like the way they make my butt look! They are reasonably priced, especially when on sale. American Eagle also has a rewards club that gives you a discount based on the amount you spend with them. view more

You Get What You Pay For

American Eagle provides the best of both world when it comes to buying your clothes, great quality and stylish clothing but for less money then alot of other stores. I am a firm believer in quality over quantity, and American Eagles clothing is great quality, I can personally say that I still own pieces of clothing that I have had for 5+ years. For the price that you pay you get great quality, durability, and style that will last you quite sometime. view more

Love the styles, well-made, a bit pricey

American Eagle is one of my favorite stores. I find them to be very in-style with what people are wearing and the clothes are very well-made. Nothing ever feels cheap or flimsy to me and the clothes don't fall apart after a few washes or wearing. The only thing I don't like is that the clothes are a bit pricey. They certainly aren't super-expensive or anything but we're a middle class family with two pre-teens and I wouldn't be able to shop there for everything. When stuff is on sale, I find those prices to be more realistic. It still remains one of my favorite clothing retailers though! view more

Only Tees, Tanks, and Hoodies for me!

I've been a fan of American Eagle apparel for years. I've lost loyalty in buying their jeans due to the stressed nature of their clothing. However, I still LOVE their Tees, Tanks, and Hoodies! Some of their items are a thinner cotton yes, some people complain that its less quality... I see it as softer, lighter, and breathable! Whenever I've gone elsewhere to purchase my tops, they usually end up folded at the bottom of the drawer or at the back of my closet waiting to be tossed out. AE makes GREAT tops! As long as that doesn't change, neither will my loyaly. =) Three stars because of their lacking in quality of jeans, bags, and accessories. view more

Good Clothes Bad Service!

I really love aeo's clothing never had an issue with the clothes but i really don't like their workers getting all on you the minute you walk in the door and preety much till you leave but I still love aeo and their new store aerie LOVE IT!!! view more

Consistent Quality Year After Year

I have been shopping at American Eagle for years and I can say that their high quality has remained the same every year. They always have the best jeans that never get holes in them and their shirts and hoodies are amazingly soft. It is easy to get the size you need , especially for pants which come in short to extra long length. view more

Love American Eagle!

I have been buying from American Eagle for years and I love their brand. They have great sales and by joining their rewards program you can get great coupons every couple months (even up to 40% off everything including sale/clearance!). Their clothing is always trendy and well made. My only complaint is that it is usually necessary to try on clothing, ordering online can sometimes be difficult- for example, with their jeans I wear two different sizes of the same exact style (Artist)- the different washes fit differently! Not just for teenagers

I have been wearing AE clothes since I was in 8th grade. I sometimes feel old going into their stores which is why I gave them a 4 star because I think they should broaden their consumer base. The clothes fit well, are good quality, and if you get something off of the clearance rack, an excellent value! Some things are pricey regular price (another reason for 4 stars) but the clearance rack is more reasonable. view more

I love American Eagle's clothes. Their sweaters and jeans are my favorite. It's great when you can catch one of their sales because their regular priced items can be pretty pricey. Usually the clearance racks have good values on them. view more

AmericanEagle always has nice clothes for every season. Their stuff is of great quality also! My only complaint is how high the prices can be sometimes but the quality of their clothing is really good so I guess its reasonable. view more

Love their kids and underwear line!

I absolutely love their kids line, 77Kids, as well as their underwear line, Aerie. 77kids is the brand my daughter prefers. Its hard to find clothing for a very tall, very skinny 4 year old, but this brand is perfect! The one downside is that they are mostly only available online so I have to plan ahead instead of just going in and buying an outfit I need for that day. I also absolutely love Aerie. This is the only kind of underwear I will wear now. I am rather busty and they don't carry my bra size, but the underwear is fantastic! view more

AE Jeans are perfect

I was delighted to see how well American Eagle jeans fit me. It feels great to know I have a couple pairs of jeans that will not only look great with anything, but make me look and feel great as well! They do run "big" though. I normally wear a size 5 and when I go to AE I have to buy a size 2 or 4. Their shorts are a little too short and their shirts I feel aren't worth the price. But their jeans are amazing and last FOREVER!! view more

too much money for what you get

american eagle's graphic tshirts have definitely declined in both quality and design, but their jeans are still pretty nice if you can buy them on sale. their sale racks tend to still be very pricy, though, and anything but the most basic clothing just doesn't fall right. very disorganized, especially in the sale section, and it can be a little difficult to find an employee to serve you, at least in my experience. view more

AMO jeans

AMO has some of the greatest jeans i think. i love how they dont fade very fast and they are comfy. there skinny jeans were nice because they are comfy and don't feel like they are hurting your legs from being so tight. view more

American Eagle clothing is so comfotable, flattering, and great quality for the price. I love their variety in their clothing, they have items for whatever mood you are in. I have not tried their shoes but their shirts are always soft and their jeans are great quality. Their Artist style jeans are amazing and really flattering. The jewelry is fun. view more

This is by far my favorite store for effortless style - the clothes come already with a comfortable feel as if they were my favorite tshirt washed again and again but they hold their shape and look time after time. I love the clothes this company makes because they are trendy but have plenty of personality and hold up well. I shop here atleast once a month and recommend it completely. view more

Great affordable sytles but quality is s...

I used to make orders online for AE 3-4 times a year back when they had the old point reward system. Now, I rarely do and my last purchase from them was about a month ago. I'm on a love and hate relationship with their clothes. There are articles in which I love - their jeans and tee shirts - and there are others in which I love which looking at it online, but when I receive my order, it's really not what I expected. One thing I really hate (and when I say hate, I mean seriously hate and it makes me say "who the hell designed this THING") is that most of their tees/tanks/shirts have been designed slightly sloppy these years. I'm not sure if others noticed, but their tops are very BOXY. It's literally a squared. Their shirts gives you no figure and doesn't hug your curves at all. It just hangs on your body making you look bigger than you really are. And these are shirts that ARENT described as 'relaxed fit' (in which relaxed fit should be hanging slouchy). AE have also gotten to use more delicate fabrics in which would require hand washing or dry cleaning (cashmere articles), which isn't such a big problem, some sweaters they have are super thin when expecting to be thicker. The dye on their jeans are truly horrible even though I love their jean fits. The dye washes off in the laundry, so it may stain light colored clothes BEWARE. And after a few washes, the jean color would fade (had a black/dark grey pair which ended up light grey). Their jeans also rubs off also when you're wearing them (could stain shirts, jackets, bags that when you walk it rubs against your jeans, etc). I've also noticed that they have slightly raised their prices up these past years. view more
