I use it CONTANTLY!

I order EVERYTHING from amazon.com! I used to use it exclusively for Christmas Shopping, especially because my brothers are so far away. That way, I could check out their wishlists online, then ship it direct. Now, I've got amazon Prime, which I wasn't sure about at first, but I can order something and get it in the mail within two days!! I've ordered new speakers for the computer, toys for my son, and books & study aids for school. Everything comes quickly and I've never had any problems. I LOVE AMAZON.com. view more

I buy more things from Amazon than any other online store. Prime membership is so worth the yearly fee, I take advantage of the free 2-day shipping, $3.99 next-day shipping & free video streaming regularly. I also use the Subscribe & Save plan on grocery items. It's just too easy to shop at Amazon! I use Amazon as a price gauge, and often price check in stores against it with the iPhone app. Just scan the barcode and you see what Amazon's price is in an instant! I love amazon.com. It is the first place I look to really buy anything. The reviews are plentiful and helpful. The prices are usually better than any competitor. Plus, I can now buy gift cards at a local retailer and save on gas, so I save even more money when shopping at Amazon and I don't have to enter my credit card information. I have never had a shipment delayed - in fact, I usually get everything within one day. I got a free Prime membership for a year as part of the Amazon Student program and a very discounted membership this year upon renewal. I did not want to be a day without the Prime membership. Not just for books any more

I admit it: I am something of an Amazon-aholic. I'm not as bad as I once was with that famous online auction site which shall not be named, but I have more than ten wish lists with Amazon.com and I'll probably add more someday. Why? Well, it's really easy to find a huge variety of products on Amazon, many for great prices, but what really makes me come back nearly daily is the fact that I can find detailed product reviews on almost anything, that usually cover every question I can think to ask and tons of questions I wouldn't have asked. And then once I've found a product I like, I can add it to the appropriate wish list so that when I'm ready to buy, I can reference the exact reviews that convinced me to do so. When the price is right on Amazon, it's super-easy to purchase right on the site, and I've bought all kinds of things on Amazon without any problems at all so far. I just make sure to read all the customer reviews of a product, and read a good sampling of the ratings for any merchant I purchase from, and then I feel confident that my expectations of both are realistic. I also love the Amazon Prime service. I don't have it now, but when I did have it, the first thing I did after getting it was buy a canopy tent in two different pieces, using the free 2-day Super Saver shipping deal, because I desperately needed it for an event that was coming up the next week. The items shipped separately, but one of them arrived here the. Next. Day. The other arrived exactly on time. If it weren't for Amazon, I wouldn't have been able to do my first craft show that required a white tent -- so thanks, Amazon. Great prices, a huge variety of products, robust product rating and seller rating systems, and reliable fast shipping when you order from Amazon itself -- I have to say, my experiences shopping here have consistently been in the top 10% of my online shopping experiences. Let me start by saying that totaling the 23 items I've purchased through this outlet compared to prices at the cheapest brick and mortar store, I've saved over $320. The great selection that is backed by the site itself and the guidelines that every merchant must follow is strict and fair. The site's layout is simple, yet a bit dated on a few pages. The selection listings are streamlined and keep animations to a minimum, which is beneficial for searching through multiple items. The new app to use on any web browser puts an icon in the browser's toolbar, and any time you come across an item, you click the amazon icon and it will register on the amazon website so you can compare prices. Add all this to their prime membership, ability for anyone to sell items on the site at a minimal commission to the site or any of the other features, it's astounding to me that sites like overstock.com and the like are still in business view more

Amazon.com has changed my life. It makes shopping from home so easy and affordable. Pretty much any product I want is at my fingertips and often for a better price than I could get it at any store. I even found my dog's organic dog food at amazon.com for half the price of the pet store, and it included free shipping. A few months ago I received an offer to apply for an Amazon credit card. So I thought, why not? I have always shopped there anyway, so I had nothing to lose. I love Amazon, you can practically buy anything you ever wanted. There has been nothing that I have looked for, and not been able to buy. The deals are amazing, you can almost always get free shipping. The items arrive quickly, are packaged and shipped promptly. I love getting my items delivered, usually by UPS in around 3 - 4 days. My Number One Online Store

Can you believe I've been an Amazon shopper for over a decade? My first order was for an Ice Castles Soundtrack audio CD that I couldn't find at local stores. (I had LP for 20 years, but wanted to find a CD version.) After that, I was hooked on online shopping, especially Amazon. Their customer service is outstanding. I otherwise never have problems, but twice in the past year I've had issues that were immediately solved, hassle-free. The first was a shipment of a 3-pack of honey, where one of the plastic bottles had a boxcutter slit at the neck and leaked half of its 32 oz during shipping. Emailing Amazon about the problem, they promptly sent another 3-pack for free, though the other two bottles--after washing off the sticky honey--were fine. Later I ordered a hot water bottle that leaked from day one, due to a tiny pinhole in manufacture. Amazon paid for return shipping and credited my account. As of this year, I started taking advantage of Subscribe and Save, to save even more $$. What's great about this program is, shipment is always free. You don't have to have a minimum purchase as you do for Super Saver shipping. Also, you can set delivery for as often as every 1 month or as long as every 6 months. If, just before next delivery, you find you don't need the product right now, you can go to your profile and "skip this shipment". Or, if you find yourself running out before the next scheduled delivery, you can go to your profile and click "send next shipment now." Yes, it's true that some items listed at Amazon are higher priced than what you can get at your local store. (Ghiradelli baking cocoa being one of them. Amazon charges nearly double what the Target down the street from me charges.) But prices depend on Amazon's participating vendors, just as Ebay prices differ among its sellers. I belong to several survey and point-earning websites that pay in Amazon code vouchers. Though some also give a cash option, I always choose Amazon, since I love shopping there anyway. view more

My husband and I joined Amazon Prime this year and we absolutely love it! I can't tell you how much money we have saved by ordering what we need from Amazon. You can see all of your buying options, the prices, seller ratings, product ratings and I can always find what I need on their website with free shipping most of the time. If I make a trip to our local "one stop" store, I can't walk out without spending $100s. With Amazon, I can order what I need and have it shipped right to my door within 2 days. Fed up with marketplace sellers, but lov...

I love Amazon. But...I hate amazon marketplace. Amazon is great because they are fast and prompt, and respond so quickly when you have a problem or question. Seriously, other companies need to follow their lead. However, I hate purchasing from Amazon marketplace sellers because eventually, you will get screwed. Sellers do not always list things accurately, and they do this intentionally, Sure, you may get the honest seller, but the dishonest seller is enough to the point where I am saying, I have had enough! So no thanks to Amazon marketplace. But yes to Amazon. For those who don't know the difference, Amazon marketplace is for 3rd party sellers who utilize Amazon's site to sell to customers....And Amazon is just Amazon (no 3rd party). view more
