Fashion/Makeup/Hair I recently subscribed to Allure magazine because I enjoy getting tips on makeup/hair/fashion without the smut covering the pages of Cosmo and Glamour. I really enjoy the magazine and just spent and hour last night perusing the most recent edition showcasing the natural beauty, Salma Hayek. One concern that I have with Allure is that it feels like they talk up brands who sponsor them (i.e. Olay, Revlon, Chanel)...I've never seen a recommendation for an Aveda product or organic products (i.e. Nature's Gate). Great Beauty Tips! I love Allure magazine! It is filled with tons of useful, practical health & beauty tips. It also frequently contains coupons or samples, and they are constantly having giveaways! Coupons and free samples One of the best magazines ever! Every issue has either coupons or samples. Who wouldn't love that? I've gotten $2 coupons off L'oreal's true match, Garnier's Eye Roller, etc. Then samples of the pour strips and creams. I love the products this magazine recommends, I usually end up buying them. Gotta love this magazine ;) I subscribed to Allure recently in February and received my first issue in March. I ended up loving this magazine! They gave me a free sample of the Boire pour strips, and have a lot of great fashion tips! For the May issue, this time I received coupons and gave me more of a reason to love this magazine. Very Informative, Not Superficial I love allure magazine and look forward to my subscripion every month. I love everything about allure. For some reason, their fashion pages are better than actual fashion magazines. They combine beauty science with drugstore trends, and everything is easy to understand. Great giveaways I don't actually subscribe to the magazine, however, I participate in the monthly giveaways and I actually win. The only downside is the prizes will randomly show up to your doorstep. alluring! I love this magazine! I am no longer subscribed but that is because I am reading many parts of it online. When I was subscribed I loved all of the hints, tips and tricks for makeup and beauty as well as the more serious articles and the lovely pictures. I find that other magazines have a lot more advertisement which I do not find appealing and that this one seems more honest and true to itself. Great Beauty Magazine I've been an Allure subscriber for several years, and it is a great magazine for those interested in reading about beauty. I enjoy seeing all of the different looks, reading about new products, and getting information about current and upcoming trends. Alluring Allure Allure is my first choice pick when it comes to beauty magazines. I love everything about this magazine. I can always trust this magazine in the beauty product advice it gives and it excites me whenever I get a new subscription in the mail.
