Good computer and Good Tech Support I have been very happy with my Alienware computer. I have had to call in on one issue a couple of times; however Alienware has a dedicated tech support line for its customers that is separate from Dell. I never had to wait more than a minute to speak to anyone and the people I spoke to were easy to understand and very helpful. view more	May 18, 2011	36

comptuers for those with unlimited budge... i was looking to buy a computer for gaming and had a decent budget to work with so i was looking through alienware because i heard they make amazing gaming computers after browsing about and browsing the prices i decided to try to find how much it would cost to self build the comptuers that they offered... after doing the math... i saved more then half building the computer by myself then ordering it from alien ware... the only difference was it takes time and hard work in order to build your own... but in the end i was able to build the same spec computer with better items and still had money to purchase an amazing monitor, keyboard, mouse, and head phones... and since it was built by my own hands its more rewarding using my own computer :) my opinion on alienware is its good for those who dont have any idea or time to research building your own computer and dont want the hassle... and have the money to spend on a top end computer thats pre built... view more	Apr 4, 2011	48
Good Comps but Overpriced In my experience Alienware computers are the ultimate when it comes to gaming but they are hugely overpriced. I could build the same computer as a $2000 alienware from dell or hp and make them better and it still would cost around 1,100. Incredible Machines These were really the first manufactured machines that I was introduced to, While they have a steep price tag, they offer amazing amounts of versatility and a name that is synonymous with quality and performance. All hype and no performance! Alienware used to be the coolest thing around, although I never owned one, I always wanted to. Their site made their products look out of this world. After hearing all the problems plaguing alienware products from friends, I changed my opinion of them. Like many other things, you're just payi... In doing my research about Alienware, i have found that when you buy an Alienware pc or laptop, you're just paying for the name. I had priced the Alienware laptop that I wanted to build for me from Alien's site, then I went to Dell, who Alienware is a subsidiary of, and priced the exact same laptop, with the exact same gear that I wanted in the Alienware, and to my surprise, the Alienware was $1250 more than my Dell that had THE EXACT SAME COMPONENTS in it. In my opinion, Alienware is a good make, but let's face it, you can get the same components in a pc or laptop that you build from a "in a box" manufacturer and get it for 10X cheaper. view more	Nov 29, 2010	55

awful computer I had an Alienware coputer for 3 years and it was awful! it always got hot from the first day I got it and would shut off in the middle of my work. It was a heavy computer and bulky I will never buy another one that is for sure1 view more	Oct 28, 2010	62
Alienware I own a laptop from Alienware. I love it because it does cool things on it however, I keep on having problems with the operating system and I've had to wipe it clean few times. Great Computer So people give me some strange looks when I tell them I have an "alienware" computer. Or when they see the little head light up on my M17x. Well then I show them something or let them give it a try and they are always blown away by the speed of this thing.
