Hello.
I’m Denrele and I am the new Community Manager for BzzAgent in the UK. As the leading social marketing company, BzzAgent is a community of people who voluntarily participate in word-of-mouth programmes for a variety of products and services. Basically, the community is BzzAgent. Taking care of that community is important.
BzzAgent has 82,000 agents in the UK and since joining up with dunnhumby last year, we’ve been steadily working towards creating more UK based campaigns for agents. With more UK Bzz comes more of everything and that includes a whole new UK social community to grow and look after.
That’s where I come in.
So who am I? Well, in BzzAgent terms I’m your new best friend. Like Jono, only cooler, prettier and with a lot less beard. I’ve been an internet professional for over 10 years, creating content, developing community and social strategy, and fully immersing myself in the wonderful world wide web. I blog a lot, I laugh loud, I am an unapologetic abuser of emoticons, I like LOL cats, I’m crazy for social media and the opportunities that it presents for brands to make friends and influence people.
Not only will I be the face of the BzzAgent’s UK Twitter, Facebook and other social media pages, but I will be your go to girl for everything BzzAgent related. This is a really exciting time at BzzAgent. There are plenty of amazing campaigns coming up with some heavyweight brands such as Sure, Dove, Activia and Tesco, to name a few. There are also many more in the pipeline.

I hope you can do a better job than Jono as it has been ages since I have heard from you lot and had an item for testing and reviewing on the site and on my facebook account. It is very exciting when one gets to test and keep a product as sometimes we do get a good product and when the testing is complete one goes and buys more of it and also recommends to friends and family. So keep up the good work and lets hope that very soon I get more products to test.

I really do hope things start ‘buzzing again’ as it has been very quiet of late …. Jono was always good at giving good feedback during a campaign …. but those very pretty thin on the ground ….
