Wish Upon A Hero believes that giving should be exciting and fun. As an entertaining way to raise money for the Wish Upon A Hero Foundation, we will be giving away a $100 Walmart Gift Card. Every member who donates $10 or more to the Wish Upon A Hero Foundation will receive an entry into the gift card drawing. The drawing will be held LIVE on WishTV this Sunday, November 23, 2009 at 8:00pm EST. An entry number will be randomly selected by a bingo ball cage machine. The winner will be announced LIVE!

It's time.
For some reason I thought that time would make things easier; but as his body grew to match his 14 years, his physical abilities stayed as a 3 month old's and the amount of care he requires has consumed us.
Our sweet boy is the size of an adult now and we are long overdue for that "Plan B".
It has become a dangerous thing to transfer him from his wheelchair to the car. We take turns straining our backs and have even hurt him with the awkwardness of having to bend his long legs and support the dead weight of his upper body at the same time. And his recent back surgery makes things that much more scary because of the flexibility he has lost.
